Rogue had just landed in Colombia. A place he never thought he would be again. The place that ended his career... and had almost taken his life.
Two years ago he had been on an undercover mission with the DEA to infiltrate and take down a powerful drug lord. Now the DEA and Interpol had asked him to return since his cartel was stronger than before and growing. But Rogue had seen Ricardo Cruz die before his eyes.
Although his eyes had been hazed by the cocaine that had almost killed him.
He was sitting in the back of the taxi when suddenly the driver slammed on his brakes. Rogue looked up to see the road blocked with masked men with guns. They grabbed him, covered his head and stuffed him in the trunk and took off. In what felt like hours they escorted him into a hacienda and shoved him on his knees.
When the hood was removed from his head he was looking at Emiliano Cruz. Ricardo Cruz's younger brother. And he wanted Rogue's services. Rogue smiled inside... exactly what he wanted.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This book can be read as a standalone, but the characters of the Chimera Force are recurring and reading their stories will give you more understanding into these men.
The men of the Chimera Force have been hand-picked due to their particular talent and offered a clean slate after five years. Rogue was an IT genius who almost lost his life from the cocaine he was forced to take when he infiltrated Ricardo Cruz's operation. Now he is back undercover to make sure the Cruz cocaine industry is stopped for good.
Bea is determined to leave. She just needs to convince the man who is helping her Uncle Emiliano to help her escape. She knew her father was a cruel man whose drugs killed hundreds, but he had loved her. Her uncle was a monster and she was terrified of what would happen if she didn't leave.
This book is action-packed from page one. It is full of suspense and danger and is steamy hot. This book has a major twist which puts everyone in even more danger. Another great book by JR Pace. I can't wait for to see what is next in this amazing series! Highly recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book from this extremely talented author.
The storyline is well written with wonderful characters.
The story is fast paced full of suspense and intrigue with a definite happy ever after.

Rogue is a recovering addict who lost his way for a while and his future was lost as well. But things are now changing and he has a team who is depending on him. So, now he's on a job back where he never thought he'd be, and he can't let anything distract him, not even the young woman. Bea feels like the stereotype of a princess locked away except things aren't as they seem and no one is coming to save her. As the daughter of a drug lord, Bea feels like she deserves everything that comes her way.
I've enjoyed this series immensely and this book is no exception. JR Pace is an incredible storyteller and has become one of my favorite authors. I was hooked on thrilling romance from page one and simply didn't want to put it down. The fascinating story has action, suspense, and steamy romance. Rogue is trying to rebuild his life and Bea is trying to escape hers. The two together may not seem like a match, but they have an unmatched chemistry. There is some violence throughout the book as it features the cartel, but something good does come out of things. I loved this book and am really looking forward to more from this series which has been excellent. I highly recommend both book and series. The books can be read individually, but I think the series is best read in order. I did receive an ARC of this book and this is my honest, unbiased review.

Options.....
...so easy to take for granted, but so easily taken from you.
Bea is amazing, so strong, resilient and feisty when she needs to be, but also able to bury it deep and act so very submissive when needed too. She thinks she is a failure and it breaks my heart that she tortures herself with misplaced guilt, but when it really counts, she proves herself again and again, saving herself, saving Rogue, saving Deep and facing her demons up close.
Bea may be tiny, but Rogue knows she is a warrior at heart. He sees the fire in her eyes, the strength in her spine and the determination in her actions. Individually they are strong, together they are a force, but with his team they are unbeatable, even when greed and corruption take over.
Emotionally charged and heartbreakingly cruel this is a fight to free the world from the evil that takes it down one drug shipment at a time, one life at a time, one victim at a time.

(4.5) A gritty page turner. Rogue Voice skims us into the drug world with our Chimera Force Team dealing with their own horrors and trying to do good. Rogue's story was heartbreaking, the HEA so deserved. Bea (don't call her Beatriz) was trying to make amends in her own little way under the rule of her cruel drug king Uncle. There is the violence and viciousness of the cartel, slivers of light, steam and the well deserved HEA. Thank you for the arc! Nothing was expected or requested in return. Excellent military style romantic suspense. This story includes mystery, drama, and action packed. Bea is the niece of a drug lord who took over after her father died. She’s been abused living with her uncle. Rogue was in Columbia years ago and it didn’t end well for him. Now he’s back and didn’t know Bea existed. Rogue has a great team of men he’s working with. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and look forward to reading future books by Ms Pace.

Chimera agent, Rogue went to Colombia before as DEA, worked for the same family trafficking family, left with the older brother dead and Rogue addicted to product. DEA believes older brother has risen from the ashes and they need Rogue to reconstitute his innovative IT guru persona to give them insight to the improved cartel. Younger brother Emiliano’s running things now and overseeing his niece, Bea, who he has special plans for. Little does Emiliano know, so does Rogue.

Non stop action and suspense in this book! Rogue never thought he'd land in Columbia again as it almost killed him a first time. He meets Bea, whose also trying to escape the life living with her sadistic Uncle. This mission almost killed the entire team - a must read if you like military romance! I received an ARC copy.

Another brilliant book in this fast paced action packed romantic suspense series. Both Rogue and Bea made choices they regret but now have a common goal except neither knows that and trust is hard to come by. I liked both characters and enjoyed their inner thoughts and turmoil when facing imminent danger. Great to see the team dynamics grow stronger. Cannot wait for the next book! Loved it.

Exciting romance
Another enjoyable and exciting romance in this series. Rogue and Bea's story was heart stopping at times as they tried to flee from her drug lord uncle. Unpleasant surprises lead the team into danger. Gripping story throughout.

This didn’t disappoint! I actually think that it might be my favorite in the series so far. I enjoyed the plot and definitely felt the connection between the two MCs. It wasn’t anything absolutely new and I might forget the plot quite soon, but I still really liked it.
