Cursebreakers, Inc. #3

A Thousand Cuts

Rate this book
Sometimes it feels like Fix's entire life can be summed up with two simple words: wanting and waiting. Wanting a family. Wanting to belong. Wanting to protect. Wanting to love. And waiting endlessly to find it.

When a beautiful cam boy with a flurry of curses hanging over his head and a mysterious past asks for his help, Fix thinks all of the wanting and the waiting has come to an end.

Except Liam’s entire life can be summed up in just one word. Running.

Running from his past. Running from a rain of curses. Running from unwanted eyes stalking him. Running from the cursebreaker who feels like he can be the perfect dadd—man for Liam. Offering him everything he’s ever wanted. Protection. Care. Love.

Will they be able to fit their jagged edges together? Or will the shadow lurking behind Liam swallow them whole?

Hurt/comfort - Daddy/boy - magic, a wonderful combination as it turned out and soooo perfect for me.
I knew the book about Fix would be the best for me so far and with the nice kink to go with it, just wonderful.
I love how Fix is portrayed, how he can't help but want to fix everything. And Liam, who needs so much love but is so very brave and strong and resists accepting help. Oh that was a dream about the relationship that is slowly forming here.
And of course the plot is good too, finally you see a bit more of this world that is formed here and you learn a tiny bit more about how magic works and how the existing hierarchies function. Still not enough, still so many questions in my head, but at least a little more insight and understanding now.
I also especially liked seeing Cane from the book before, crazy bastard.
Too bad overall that the second book is such a difficult thing though. That the stories build on each other and wouldn't really work as a stand alone, I can well imagine that some readers won't even get to read this third book.
So, and even if this quote suggests it, there is not a lot of sex in this book, just the right amount and intensity 😉

“You’ll strip and get on the bed for Daddy. I’m gonna show you exactly how much I want you, and it’ll last however long I feel like it should last. However long I feel like it takes you to understand what you mean to me. I’m gonna own you, honey. I’m gonna use you. And the only way I’ll stop is if you safeword. Or black out from pleasure. Do you understand?” 🤤😳🤤😳🤤

ARC review
This was only my second book by these authors, but I am definitely a huge fan! This was a perfect blend of tender sweetness, an original plot that kept me invested from start to finish, funny and interesting side characters, and just the right amount of spicy goodness. The change from the most gentle caretaking daddy outside of the bedroom to grab-you-and-hold-you-down-while-pounding-you-through-the-mattress roughness, all because that’s what his boy wanted, was perfect.

He’d spent years learning what made himself tick, and having someone to cherish, protect, and pamper was it.

I suck at reading any interconnected series from start to finish, which means I didn’t read book 1 and 2 before reading this one. Although I can definitely see why you might want to, I do believe you can read this as a standalone and still enjoy it. I certainly did. However, I do want to go back and read the first two books now because I liked this one so much.

Fix and Liam were great together, and I loved this urban fantasy world. Great entertainment with a pretty good twist at the end. I also really loved how supportive Fix was of Liam’s sex work (he’s a solo camboy). Fix never even batted an eye and has no problem with Liam continuing the work he loves. All he wants is for Liam to be safe and happy.

“You believe in fate?” Liam asked. “I met you, didn’t I? In a room full of chaos I found you. I wouldn’t know what else to call it but fate. Maybe luck?”

“Can I touch you?” Fix asked quietly into the thickened silence. There we go. This was familiar. This was what he would get from Fix. And he’d take it. He’d make it work. “Yes,” he said, expecting Fix to reach for his cock, his ass. But Fix sat on the edge of Liam’s bed and scooped him up like he weighed nothing. He wrapped his pink sheet around him like he was the sweetest confectionery and placed him on his lap instead.

Fix was left to stretch out his neck and will his cock to settle down while he pulled his shirt back on. He wasn’t getting any attention just yet and he needed to get with the program. They were wooing now.

Okay but now what do I do with myself? I’ve caught up with the series and.. and.. oof big book hangover. This series is amazing. It is everything. I can’t stop thinking about it. This book was fantastic. Daddy Fix is my favorite daddy I’ve ever read. And Liam is such a sweet soul, your heart can’t help but feel for him. And King is the best little doggo you could ever want. I love all the men of Cursebreakers Inc, and I can’t wait to continue reading their stories.

I absolutely loved the curse that was featured in this book! I didn't figure it out and I loved how intense it was. It was also really fun to see all of the cursebreakers and the partners who have joined the group so far working together to figure out what was happening.

I'm so happy that Fix got his HEA with Liam. He's such a caretaker and being Liam's Daddy was so perfect for him.

I'm now massively curious and impatient for the stories of Black, Midas and Wren!!

In a world full of magic casters and curses, Fix is a cursebreaker who can’t turn down anyone in need of help. When asked by a beautiful man who looked at him with so much fear and desperation, Fix knew he had to help him no matter what.

Unfortunately, Liam’s case of being cursed is more complicated than Fix initially thought. Liam is being stalked by a stranger who keeps making his life miserable and Fix can only do so much before things fall apart.

Thoughts: As someone who didn’t read the previous books in the series, I was thoroughly confused at times. I had to keep rereading paragraphs and forcing myself to understand what was going on, even at the end of the book. The world building was lacking and that’s where most of the confusion stemmed from, however, the plot had potential and the romance between the characters made up for it.

I loved Fix and Liam and their instant fascination with one another. Liam being the perfect boy for Fix and Fix being the daddy Liam never knew he was allowed to have really had me smiling from ear to ear.

The ending very much shocked me, being a plot twist that took me by surprise. It was a decent ending, if a bit sporadic and rushed, but I kinda wish they touched more bases after what felt like a climax in the story.

I totally adored Daddy Fix and his boy Liam. This did not go how I expected, and I liked that the ending surprised me. But before we got to that point, we had to deal with Liam continuously being cursed and Fix all but frothing at the mouth to help him any way he could. I kept wanting to yell at Liam anytime he pushed Fix away. Fix was exactly the type of person Liam needed in his life, but the poor boy was so scared to jump in with both feet.

I loved that no matter how much Liam protested, Fix continued to try and help him any way he could. That's just the type of man Fix is, hence his name. He was also drawn to Liam more than he'd been drawn to anyone before and I kept my fingers crossed for Liam to truly understand just what a gem he had in Fix. I knew as soon as he eventually believed that Fix was in it for the long haul and truly meant to care for him, that Liam would finally have some true happiness in his life.

Anonymous helper also made an appearance. I hope we find out who they are by the end of the series. They have me so curious. Of course we also had quite a few moments with the other cursebreakers on the team. I'm seeing some possible future matches for the others start to form, I'm looking at you Wren and Midas. And that sneak at the next book? Hello forbidden romance. I can hardly wait!

Absolutely fantastic!! I love the range of stories that AM Rose can write and this definitely is on the darker side.
**Please read trigger warnings to be sure this is something you can read**
Fix is a total sweetheart and we all need one in our lives, both for the caretaking aspect and for his nuisance curse breaking. We've all got something annoying going on. Liam's curses and stalker problems break my heart with how it all gets on top of him, along with the tough past he's had regarding relationships. King is a perfect protector for him and I love the way he treats Fix, totally not rolling over for the daddy, telling him who's in charge.
There are definitely some tougher scenes to read in regards to the stalking and constant curses that Liam has going on but the author has written it all so well. There are heightened emotions through a lot of the book, but be sure, there are some good ones! Liam has his reasons to be wary of what Fix is offering but Fix is 100% one of the good guys and proves it every time they're together.
We also get a fair bit of interaction with the rest of the curse breakers. They're such an eclectic bunch but fit perfectly together. I can't wait to read the next book and see who will be meeting their forever person. And, who is it that we don't know?! I need to know!!
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

Poor Liam isn't have a good time of life in general. He's a young cam boy/escort just trying to make a living. But someone is not only stalking him wherever he goes, but cursing him with the most annoying curses ever. It's not the curses themselves that are the problem. One or two alone would be manageable. But at any given time he could have dozens of nuisance curses plaguing him. Simple things like not being able to open his curtains, to tripping over the living room rug, to not being able to stitch a straight line on his beloved sewing machine. He's reluctant to reach out for help. But eventually finds he has to. He meets Fix who screams Daddy material. But Liam's been down that road before and its NEVER ended well.

Fix lives up to his name. One of the busiest of the cursebreaker crew, because his specialty is nuisance curses which seem to be all the rage lately. When he tries to assist the prickly Liam, though, he knows the sheer volume and speed of these Liam's curses are something special. He worries for the client he desperately wants to call his boy.

This was very entertaining and despite its 354 pages felt like a very quick read. The pacing of the story was quite tight and the ending was a surprise (don't worry, there's an HEA). A solid 3.75 stars.

so freaking good!

This is the best book I’ve read in 2025. It’s gonna take a lot to top this. The authors have out done themselves. I have not read the books before this, and while there are some over reaching plot holes that didn’t not take away for me.

This was a freaking story about love. Real hard fought love. This book broke me and then put me back together. Holy cow that was amazing. Fix will forever be my favorite book boyfriend my favorite book Daddy. The absolute love and care he had for Liam. And Liam I just wanted to hug him. Fix really live up to his name. Both his names.
And the gang were amazing. Perfect mix of found family. The writing was amazing the smexy was hawt. And I can’t wait for the next book.

I looooove a daddy book that is legitimately good. And this series is definitely getting better as it goes on. This was absolutely my favorite so far. The mystery/suspense plot was super engaging, and I loved the relationship dynamics once Fix and Liam were really established. Yay!

I read this in a day.

I LOVE this magical world.

Of all the magical worlds I have read and created this is the best.

It is urban fantasy at its finest. Using magic should have a cost, consequences, and boundaries and that is handled brilliantly in this book.

I forgot how much I loved this world.
You will be seeing me recommending it more often.

Liam is a camboy with a problem and Fix is there to help him put his life back together. Fix is a great dom and respects Liam’s boundaries.

The cameos are utilized well and the set up for other relationships glorious. I can see where each relationship is (probably) going to flourish and blossom and it fun knowing before the characters do.

If you don’t read a lot of Daddy/boy kink this is a good intro.
If you do read a lot of D/s, Fix is a caretaker dom and there are light Daddy/boy aspects and no age-play.

3.5 🌟 rounded up

A solid urban fantasy read with some good spice and emotional moments.

This is technically a standalone but it’s part of a series of interconnected standalone, and the author firmly recommends that the first two books are read before this one. I did not do that. This is the first book I’ve read in this series and whilst some of the world building was a bit hard to pick up, I still managed to get the gist of it all.

Liam (H1) just wants someone to love him. Unfortunately after years being cursed by some unknown caster every day and living in fear, he’s super reluctant to let anyone in. Fix (H2) is a cursebreaker. He was born with the ability to break curses that have been placed on unsuspecting individuals and has a found family of unruly, eccentric brothers who make up his cursebreaking team.

Technically these two must have met in book one or two (I’m thinking two) because this book starts some time later, with Fix absolutely guilt ridden over the fact that he turned Liam’s request for help away. He seeks an untrusting Liam out, knowing they have some kind of unspoken connection, wanting to finally give him the help he needs. Ultimately, Liam has to learn how to trust Fix with his curse problem and with his heart.

I really liked Fix. I understood Liam’s reluctance to accept his help after Fix rejected him the first time, but Fix definitely makes up for it. The dynamic between these two was sweet and hot at the same time, but Fix’s caretaking personality is what really won me over and kept me interested.

Liam was a bit harder to like. He was super reticent and so the romantic development and physical relationship was very slow burn. When a characters hyper-independence becomes a serious detriment to their health and safety… well it becomes hard to root for them. Liam takes his life into his own hands, and I get it, but he kind of just ended up putting himself and others at risk in the process.

The twist was somewhat surprising and played out well, though I kind of wish it had taken a different turn. Either way, once everything was tied up I felt satisfied with the HEA. I’m intrigued by some of the other characters and their dynamics, so I definitely would give this author another go!

Safety:
- no virgins
- H1 is a solo camboy and has worked as an escort at times (not physical I think); unsure of celibacy but did not come across as a manwhore. He had previous daddy/boy relationships that ultimately turned abusive and was scarred because of it.
- H2 didn’t give manwhore vibes either; no idea about celibacy, but I would like to think both had not being with anyone after meeting.
- No ow or om drama.
- Some triggers include stalking and violence (not between mains), talks of past abusive relationships, loss of loved ones. Please check authors list for comprehensive warnings!

Fantastic characters, great plot and dark arc and universe. Love it and highly recommended.

Rating: 4.5🌈

A. M. Rose’s Cursebreakers, Inc. series continues to be one of the most intriguing, surprising paranormal romance series I’ve read lately.

With each book and new case and romance, Rose expands on the magic system and universe that the series and characters inhabit. It just keeps getting better and darker, which makes sense considering that the focus of this series are horrendous curses.

Each story has a unique type of curse(s) that requires the ability of one of the group of found family of Cursebreakers here. The storyline revolves around the impact of upon those who are cursed and the individual Cursebreakers trying to figure out how to break them.

A Thousand Cuts is Fix’s story but that title belongs to the character who is cursed, Liam. Liam is a character briefly introduced in the last book when he comes looking for help at the wrong moment. It’s at a point where the entire group is trying desperately to help one of their own, Hart, in his own case and relationship with Cane.

Fix is a person who has a strong sense of guardianship, a need to protect and safeguard others. And spiraling if he feels like he’s failed. More about him and the group’s development is revealed in the story. But how Cursebreakers and their magical powers are developed from a very young age is a chilling story thread that Rose expands on with each character. We are talking extremely young ages when they are removed from their families because their powers present themselves and, as in Black’s case and probably others , it’s traumatic.

So every character is a flawed, powerful and unique personality that ends up with a romantic partner to match. Equally interesting, often damaging or dangerous, wild back story and as with Liam, comes with a twist.

And a great rescue dog, named King.

The curses and stalker case is realistic and frightening. The romance is a BDSM with a believable Daddy kink that suits both characters personalities. I got it immediately.

The best thing is how Rose wraps up the case, bringing Liam finally home to Fix, safe and curse free. Surprises !

And it brings back an overall series mystery that looks to be a subtle twist and thread. I honestly loved it.

Fantastic characters, great plot and dark arc and universe. Love it and highly recommended.

I thought I was ready for the next installment of this amazing fantasy romance series but the way Daddy Fix and his boy Liam blew me away was completely out of this world! I could not get enough of their story. The angst. The pining. The gentle caretaking. It was all exquisite!

As always with the Cursebreakers Inc. series we have a brilliant mix of mystery plot and breathtaking romance. A.M. Rose are masters of building the suspense and creating a mysterious, paranoid vibe throughout the book which makes every book in the series a real page turner. The reveals in A Thousand Cuts had me gasping out loud! And still their trademark humour peeks its head out every so often and had me smiling and snickering just when I needed it most.

But we have to talk about the romance, because omg the romance! Fix and Liam and adorable together and I cried so much at their wonderful, angsty love story. Their HEA made me so happy and even with tears still drying on my cheeks I was giggling and kicking my feet at seeing them get everything they ever wanted together.

Liam is such a wonderful character. He is sad and beaten down and scared but he is never defeated. He deserves only good things and I want to see him wrapped in all the blankets and given all the Daddy cuddles!

Fix is so loving and gentle, he just wants to help Liam regardless of whether or not Liam will ever be his. Fix is everything good and kind and is just the squishiest loveliest Daddy that ever existed. Their relationship takes time to develop (Liam is very scared of letting people close so expect a slow burn) but it is so sweet and caring it is worth the wait. And once the spice gets going it is HOT. Prepare for your kindle to catch fire!

The found family in these books is so, so good. I adore every scene where the Cursebreaker family sees each other, their personalities are all so vibrant and they really shouldn’t work together but they DO. It’d be an absolute nightmare to live in that house but reading their interactions is pure popcorn deliciousness.

I adored A Thousand Cuts and I am so excited to see where this ridiculous bunch of Cursebreakers goes next! Definitely check this story out if you like high drama, high stakes, deep connections and incredible characters!

This is the third book in the Cursebreakers, Inc series and I was able to fully enjoy it without having first read the two earlier books. Though I will warn you, once you read this book you will want to go back and read the earlier two. This is the story of Fix and Liam. Fix is a nuisance curse breaker. He works and lives with his brothers in a shared house, Cursebreaker HQ. His name is Fix as that is what he always wants to do. He is a daddy at heart and wants to take care of people. He would love to have someone of his own to cherish but doesn't believe that will ever happen. When they were all involved in saving their brother, a client asked for help. Fix defers him as they are all focused on his brother. But when the client didn't leave a name or call back, Fix worries over it. Calling a favor, he finds out his name, Liam. Liam is a camboy and sometimes escort when he needs help making his rent. He lives alone with his bestie dog King. He would love to find his permanent Daddy but knows that with his curses, it will never happen. When Fix and Liam first meet, the attraction is off the charts. But Liam knows that he is cursed and keeps his wall around his heart firmly fixed. He has Fix take care of only one of the curses that he suffering from as that is all he can afford. Fix offers to remove them all but Liam declines. He isn't interested in charity. Too bad that Fix is interested in him. With the help of his brother, he breaks in while Liam is out and removes all the other curses. But of course that doesn't last. Who is continually cursing Liam? How do they keep finding him? Does he have a stalker? This is their story. I really enjoyed this book. It is very well written and easy to read. I loved the interaction between the brothers. There is chemistry for days between Fix and Liam. This is a wonderful book. And if you get the chance to read the A Thousand Cuts bonus, make sure you take it. It is perfection. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

I received a complementary advanced review copy of this book from the authors and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Where to start? This series is so good! I love all of the characters. This misfit band of cursebreakers works so well together, they are truly meant to be a family.

This is the third book and finally Fix's turn to find love. He never forgot about the sweet, sad boy he had to turn away when he came asking him for help. It wasn't really Fix's fault, but he is swamped with guilt until he can find the boy and make it right.

Liam is a cam boy down on his luck. He is plagued with curses and has been scraping by as best he can. He doesn't really trust anyone and after being turned away the last time he asked for help, he is reluctant to do so again. But Fix won't let it go and Liam gradually lets him in. There is a bit of mystery, some action, and a lot of love and steam as Fix and Liam realize they are perfect for each other.

This was one of the most satisfying romances I've read in a while, and it might be because Fix is such a good communicator. He doesn't let Liam off the hook when it comes to telling him what he needs and he isn't shy about sharing his own. Good thing their desires compliment each other so well!

I think having Liam will help Fix with some of his anxiety over wanting to "fix" everything for his brothers, which results in him being a bit overbearing sometimes. Lucky for him, Liam is happy to be the center of his attention.

Can't wait for Wren and Black's stories. I can't decide whose I want first, but I'm definitely ready to devour whatever comes next in this series!

After all the "daddy" talk in the previous two books, and seeing what a caretaker Fix really is, I loved getting to see Fix find his boy. These curses made me miserable just reading about them, and realizing how despairing and desperate they would make someone just made me so impatient for the villain to be caught. In my opinion it was an excellent reveal, which I personally did not see coming although looking back I do see hints.

Like the previous books, the other future MCs are written so poignantly that it actually makes me so sad to have to wait to read their stories. The overarching story - or at least ongoing, implied story - is glimpsed enough to maintain the intrigue while giving literally nothing away.

The relationship between Liam and Fix is so sweet to observe, and there are bits of humor that made me lol, mostly in the brothers' banter. Loved this book and have pre-ordered the 4th. Cannot wait for Wren's HEA!

TW - I do want to say that in the past few years it seems that a lot of authors started writing dog owners as having pit bulls, and if you are like me, and know someone who experienced an unfathomably traumatic, newsworthy event involving pit bulls, this might be a trigger. It is for me, so I just pretend it's a German Shepherd.

There is also a mention of a twitch preventing the villain from being good-looking, which rubbed me the wrong way, as attractive people can have twitches and tics that don't lessen their attractiveness. I get the intent though, just didn't care for that.

** ARC REVIEW **

3.5*

Third person dual POV.
I think everyone loves Fix from the previous books. He is kind and caring and the most gentle of giants.
He needs to take care of those he loves and seems to get some sort of inexplanable innate drive towards who will burrow into his life.
He got a similar sense with Liam from the beginning. The meet cute took place in Hart's book.
It would have been great to have more of an explanation of this as it felt kind of fated, but I didn't get the impression of this kind of magic.

Liam, unfortunately, was being cursed, but the who and why is unknown throughout most of the book. We believe it has something to do with his work as a sex worker (no cheating), and the mystery is solved as we progress through.

I think we all knew Fix is a Daddy from the nickname his brothers used in the previous books, and this kink is expanded in this book with the dynamic between Liam and Fix.
I'm not going to lie. I am not the biggist fan of this dynamic, and for this reason alone, this is my least favourite of the three so far. Also, I miss the banter from book one and the intensity from book 2.

I didn't see the twist at the end coming, and as with all of the books so far, the third act issue is intense and emotional.

These books are well written and thoroughly enjoyable. I recommend the series and absolutely cannot wait to continue. I need Midas and Avery's book, like air! I also would love a Black and anybody but especially a Black and Cyrus book. Hell yeah!

This is probably my favorite series from these authors although it's hard to choose because in their repertoar is something for just about everyone and honestly I loved everything they wrote so far. This one is edgier and introduces some morally gray and more complex characters and that's the thing I love about it most.
For better enjoyment start with book one because that way you'll get to know all the seemingly mismatched characters in this found family that against all odds works. You'll definitely need to read their individual stories.
We all got to know and love Fix in previous two instalments. He's a natural nurturer and while he takes care of everyone's needs with ease, he still hasn't found that one person that would let him unleash his need to fully take care of someone and hand off the reins. Someone to love, accept him and love him back. Enter Liam.
You can read all about him in the blurb, so I won't repeat it. I'll just say that you can expect a rollercoaster of action, angst, humor, deep imbedded issues and feelings, written in perfect pace. Enter the heart stopping race against time. The reason and solution for Liam's problems leads to a big surprise. Personally I didn't see it coming. It was genius!
Also there were some interesting new characters introduced here that could lead to new connections. There's still three found family members that beg for their stories and I can't wait to read them.

A well-balanced blend of magical mystery and heartwarming romance, full of colorful, engaging characters with vibrant personalities.

This time the story focuses on Fix, a gentle, caring (sometimes too caring) cursebreaker on a mission to save Liam, a desperate camboy running from a stalker, a never-ending string of curses, and his own shady past. While I enjoyed Fix and Liam finding their way to each other, my favorite part was, as usual with this series, the whole insane cursebreaker crew and their hilarious family dynamics. Huge brownie points for the authors for putting together such an iconic set of loveable weirdos and making their every interaction a pure delight.

As for the mystery part, I loved the masterful build-up of tension and constantly rising stakes, but the ending didn't land quite right for me and the final reveal proved to be a teensy bit too much of a strain for my suspension of disbelief. That said, many readers seem to have enjoyed how it all played out, so it's probably just me, not the book.

I'm definitely looking forward to the next one and I can't wait for more breadcrumbs of the overarching mystery that's just getting more and more interesting.

ARC provided by the author, I have chosen to read and write an honest review.

A Thousand Cuts - Fix & Liam

A Thousand Cuts - Fix & Liam

‘He tried not to let Liam’s scent distract him. Tried not to get lost in the feeling of his body so close. Tried not to let himself imagine Liam’s body in his arms just because he wanted to be there on a lazy morning. They’d wake up, and he’d be flushed and warm from sleep, wearing Fix’s T-shirt, hair messy and tangled. And he’d find his way into Fix’s arms because he knew it was where he belonged. He tried not to let himself hope. But he failed. Miserably so.’

A.M. Rose is a gangbuster author duo who has readers laughing and crying for their men in A Thousand Cuts, book three in the fabulous Cursebreakers Inc. series.

Often, characters in a series can feel duplicated, but these talented authors give everything to readers so we can feel every emotion that the unique curse breaking brothers and their fated men feel as they struggle to find a way, through sometimes agonizing magic, to overcome obstacles attempting to drive them apart!

This already incredible series has raised the bar with Liam’s destiny, and Fix’s determination, with his brothers’ help, to claim the man he knows is his to love forever!

"There was a pull inside him that kept tugging and leading him Liam’s way."

What a wonderful addition to the Cursebreakers, Inc. series. These two authors, who write under the pseudonym of A. M. Rose, are fantastic collaborators considering they don't live in the same country. How they come up with this stuff is a mystery to me. I still can't pick a favorite in this series because I love them all. Each one of these books has been completely different from the last.

Another cursebreaker, in the found family of cursebreakers, finds his perfect match. Each of these books have been hard to put down once you start reading.

Don't forget to pick up the bonus scene, listed at the end of the book, it was very spicy!

I can't wait to read Wren's story next. But then I can't wait to read Black and Midas' books either. Hurry and write faster, I'm addicted!!!

Hurt/comfort, Fix is such a daddy and is always ready to "fix" things for the ones he cares about, a cursed boy in need of a daddy, the perfect match

If there is one thing I love, it's when an author can take a subject matter I'm not a big fan of and make me like it. A.M. did this splendidly (not surprising as they are amazing) I've been not so patiently waiting for this story and I was over joyed when if came into my inbox.
👏It Did Not Disappoint 👏
Oh Sweet Daddy Fix You Sweet Angel Of A Man. This was amazing I love Fix and Liam So Much.  It's so hard to gush without including spoilers. But this was so well written!!!
I loved the ideas for the curses.
I Love Unknown,
I LOVE BLACK.
I just love everything alright!
Also MY EMOTIONS 😭 😭😭
The mystery aspects of this were amazing and kept me guessing and the paranoia and fear were so well done. The angst was also very delicious and so was the pinning. In the end these Sweet men got what the faught so hard for and I couldn't be happier.

4 ½ Stars

A Thousand Cuts is an excellent continuation of the Cursebreakers series. I enjoyed seeing characters from previous books (even the ones I don’t especially like). They all keep the premise of the series relevant and interesting.
The authors developed a well-thought-out and well-implemented storyline. I was worried for Liam and was chewing my nails as they worked to fix, heh, his problems.
Liam and Fix are an ideal match for each other. The authors wrote them and their wants and needs beautifully. They have a give and take, honestly and openly expressed, that many would envy. I fell in love with both of them and could have read many more pages dedicated to their connection.
I look forward to more from these authors.

This series just seems to get better and better and more intriguing!

I loved Ash and Morgan in book 1 and then I loved cane and hart even more in book 2.

This book is only the second book with the daddy aspect that I have enjoyed. Fix is everything and I felt so bad for Liam but the way this book twists and turns kept me buckled in. I never saw the ending coming and isn't that what we want from a book, to be kept in suspense right to the very end!

I cant wait for the next book, I need to know what the deal is with this list! and the unknown helper!!!!

Beautiful and well deserved HEA. The spice is chefs kiss and the plot is a wild ride.

I sound like a broken record with this series, each book/couple being my new favorite. Fix & Liam are definitely my new favorite couple, and their story is my favorite of the series, thus far. This one was SO GOOD, it'll be tough to top it. I laughed more, worried, hoped, cheered, cried, FELT more in this book. Everything about the story in this one felt 'more'; getting to know all of the "family" better, among other things. There are so many wonderful aspects about the relationship, the unfolding plotline, the characters, I could gush for ages, but I won't. Read the series, read about Liam's life & his journey to and with Fix. Enjoy.

Fix and Liam were so interesting, and I was so happy when they ended up together.
It had adrenaline and danger, but also a lot of unexpected revealing that put everything in perspective.
I liked their connection and how they learned to trust in each other, as well as the protectiveness and possessiveness they developed during their journey.
I liked how Liam slowly integrated himself in Fix's family and the good changes that come along the way.
It was an interesting experience and I’m looking forward to the next adventure.

Wow. Just wow. The story starts with Fix back at the house thinking of how he pushed Liam away when he asked for help. After getting Cane to get him his information, he found Liam at his apartment. Liam had a lot of rough patches growing up and was trying to survive. When Fix broke one of the curses, they slowly started getting closer. They also had the mystery of who was stalking Liam. All in all, this was a great read with great world building, heat and chemistry between them. Cannot wait to read the next book in this series. Loved the bonus story. So so hot.

Fix and Liam are my favourite of the series so far! They are just so sweet and adorable together and I loved how they found everything they wanted in one another. Fix is so precious over Liam, it’s absolutely adorable! And Liam is a total sweetheart and deserved all the love and pampering he gets from Daddy Fix. The world building and the writing are fantastic as usual - this is easily one of my favourite magical worlds. I loved the curse in this instalment and I cannot wait to see what is next!
