I would like to start by saying, I love the dedication in this book. Continue by saying I know there is psychology that explains why we read such books. Finish by saying ideally, the greatest thing I didn't like about the story was the age gap. All the other issues/trigger warnings/kinks I would like to classify them under the bendera of we do not talk about Blake in public but I absolutely loved that when Lora "got onboard with it", she matched his freak.

Just when one revelation is revealed, we get another, and another, and another; it's so over the top that I couldn't help but love this.

Short On Rent was about 28-year-old Blake, the owner of a web design company, and 18-year-old Lori, a college student.

This book contains sensitive content, including but not limited to the following tropes and themes. It is intended for an 18+ audience: Coerced s*x-work, Dub-con, Forced pregnancy, Somnophilia, Voyeurism/stalking, ***Restroom*** spying & Golden activities, and Period play.

There is not a lot to say about this story. You'll either like it, or you'll hate it. There isn't much in between. The book doesn't have much of a plotline or point. It's just straight-up sex almost from beginning to end. The way the relationship went from zero to 100 in a matter of sentences was a bit unbelievable, mainly because there was no real buildup. The author doesn't let you see how things began...until the book is almost over.

The story had some questionable actions and kinks that wouldn't appeal to everyone. It had some "ick factors" and some points where it would cross some boundaries for many readers. Don't go into this if you can't handle the tropes the author wrote about.

The reader can't tell if the two main characters made any growing improvements because they only ever had sex. Everything in the book took place in a matter of hours, but the past, present, and future were all wrapped up in that time frame.

I only gave this a one-star rating since there wasn't any real storyline or plot. It could be better, but it just wasn't given the chance.
