The last thing I need after having my heart broken is to fall for another man. A much older man who has me feeling things I’m not used to.

I shouldn’t want him but I’ll just have a little vacation fling and then forget about him. It should be easy, but Cal Beckett quickly works his way under my skin, making it near impossible to stay away from him.

I liked the writing. It had me wanting to keep reading, but I HATE the storyline breakups of 'I have to do this for the other person'.

Like, freaking talk to them.

I know it's a book and that's part of the author's plot..... but, no. It's irritating.

This was just meh, it was kinda boring and I didn’t enjoy it.

Hated the fact that Naomi- the h, well her ex bf and ex bff who he cheated on her with ended up having a baby together even though they didn’t stay together after the cheating. So even though she’ll still have to see ex bf cus he’s the H’s son but she’ll also always have to see ex bff too since she’s the mother of the H’s grandchild. Also the H made a comment about how the baby will hopefully fix everything between everyone and I hated that too.

Author Annika Paige can easily pull me out of a dreadful reading slump with one of her forbidden age gap stories. “Over You Under Your Dad” was perfect. It comes in at about 191 pages and is filled with all the goodness of drama between exes, forbidden love building with the ex-fiancé’s dad, and lots of spiciness.

When Naomi discovers her fiancé is cheating on her, it is a no-brainer that she will not marry him. However, they still had their honeymoon booked. Naomi, needing the break, decides to go on her own. What she doesn’t expect is to find the owner of the beach house to be her ex’s estranged father, Cal. They hit it off well during her stay. The steamy scenes were steaming, and I loved the bit of angst between the two. It was a wonderful HEA as well. I am curious to know if Annika will do something with the other characters in the story—if they’re redeemable.

She takes taboo and makes it woo ... as I have some to remember DO NOT READ IN PUBLIC, this book will cause your heart rate to elevate and for your panties to combust

When reading through this book, I did find it to be quite quick and spicy. There were many emotional factors going on while reading through the story, and I felt that they all added to the experience! The story itself was an overall excellent tale that kept me interested.

Cal and Naomi I felt shouldn’t have been together but omg do they somehow manage to work with one another… and even though things shouldn’t have gone certain ways that it did, who cares what others may say about it. They have both been through quite a bit and with that they have both been hurt, but when they both connect on that fact that they were hurt by the same person, so many things changed with that new info! Now, when that person comes to wanting to but a serious wrench into their relationship, what will they do?

Thank goodness for dear Eden, because I feel that without her things, it really would have gone downhill (Fast). She is literally the support and co-conspirator for both Naomi & Cal and damn do they need that. She is literally the funny, smart, loving, and oh so loyal friend that I feel everyone needs in their lives at one point and with that I hope we get to experience a singular story just for her too!!!

It’s quick. It’s spicy. It’s surprisingly full of all sorts of emotions. And it’s actually an excellent tale combined with serious heat!

Cal and Naomi shouldn’t be together. They shouldn’t work so well. They shouldn’t…care what people might say, honestly! They’ve both been hurt, so imagine the surprise upon realizing that they’ve been hurt by the same person. And then that same person wants to throw serious wrenches into their relationship.

But have no fear. Eden is here. She’s the support and co-conspirator both Naomi and Cal need. She’s funny and smart and loving and so very loyal and boy, I need her to get her own story also because I kind of adore her. Like, even more than Cal and Naomi. So maybe I’ll get lucky and get to ride along with Eden when she finds her person, too? I sure hope so.

What a page turner! Cal and Naomi definitely had it going on. Their chemistry from the first time they met, was off the charts! This age gap story is a must read! When Naomi’s relationship goes sour, wait til you find out what happens, a little getaway is in order.

Let’s put it this way, Naomi has had a rough go in her relationship and isn’t quite looking for someone else at the time. When she meets Cal, that may change. Cal knows who she is, but will he tell Naomi or will she find out on her own? As they spend time together, it’s obvious the two develop feelings for each other. Can Naomi possibly have the life she deserves with someone who wants nothing but the best for her? Wait til you find out. Life definitely throws wrenches in our plans sometimes, but we should always go after what we truly want no matter what.

Cal and Naomi story… Where to start the emotions.. The ups and downs had me biting my nails the whole time and let’s not forget the spice!!! They shouldn’t be together but are FIRE when they are together. And Eden is the best sister a girl could have I hope she gets her own story!! I am a huge fan of this author and once again she drops another book that is absolutely amazing!! This is a MUST READ!!

I love this story. Naomi found herself in the face of betrayal. A painful yet beautiful lesson in love.
Naomi and Cal's story was emotional, steamy and an absolutely entertaining read. I love how the FMC picked herself up after her fiancé's betrayal and seeks out her own peace. Not overly tense, there are moments where you really hurt along with Naomi and Cal. I picked this up and did not put it down. Overall great read.

I loved this story of Naomi and Cal. The age-gap was written exceptionally well. I also love how these two found each other when they didn't think they would. Naomi is a very stubborn character but also very empathetic. Cal just loves everything about her and will do anything to make her happy. I think this was a well written story with just the right amount of spice and good plot. The storyline was amazing.

Over You, Under Your Dad is a forbidden, age gap romance. There is drama, a cheating ex-fiancé and a new budding relationship in the horizon with her ex's dad. Cal and Naomi's story gives you all the feels, so much emotion, plenty of spice, steaming hot chemistry and an insta-connection. There was also plenty of angst with ups and downs that will keep you hooked. An enjoyable read for sure.

Such a fun read with a few moments of angst and even a couple moments that made me want to smack a boy in the head! 🤷🏻‍♀️ It happens sometimes!

Our characters are sweet and fit together so well in all the ways! Beau is a sweetie and needs all the love!

So happy I got to read it and am hoping for a future story for at least one character!

This book was incredible. It starts of with your heart pumping hard. I couldn’t put down Naomi and Cals story. It’s no secret I’m a huge fan of this authors stories. This is one of my favourite stories I’ve read this year. Cal was perfect for Naomi. There is a 23 year age gap. This was a spicy story and you need a change of undies handy. I loved the romance, sexy times and it was just a great read.
