Dex is a dream. Obsessed, protective, and such a spicy guy. Savannah is such a bad B*. I love her! Jase & Rage from J.S’ first dark romance baby, Rage, make an appearance and it’s so nice to see them again! They made me laugh and it was such a fun addition to Dex & Sav. Some parts were nasty, in a good bookish way, but head the TW’s! Amazing book once again from this author!

The portrayal of loss and the gaping hole it leaves in its wake was so accurate and well portrayed it brought tears to my eyes.
JS Cannon never ceases to rock me with the stories she weaves.
Chaos is a spin off of Rage. Although you don’t need to read it to enjoy the hell out of this book. You should because that book is also literary magic.
I was gut wrenched. Hot and bothered. Shocked and gasping ready to lose my mind on the author if anything happened to my babies.
If you read Reaper, you know the depths this author can go to ruin you. And why I had heart palpitations the entirety of this book.
Dex is the protective, possessive, morally grey swoon-worthy mmc we all love to salivate over.
Savannah is our broken fmc who is pieced back together by the love and strength dex brings into her life, allowing her to grow and flourish into a total bad ass.

Chaos was better than I expected! I loved Declan “Dex” and Savannah. J.S. Cannon wrote another amazing story about a badass couple. Dex is steamy & possessive in the best ways and Savannah with everything she’s been through is a badass bitch. Jase and Rage from J.S. other book Rage make an appearance and I really enjoyed the friendship between Rage and Savannah. Those girls had me laughing. I need a whole book about these two wreaking havoc and stressing Jase and Dex out.

This book has a little something for the romance reader the spicy reader and the load the 9mm and grab the blade and let’s fuck some people up reader. I cannot tell you how many times I have fallen trap to a read where the author focused heavily on just smut with no plot. And that is fine there is audience for everything but the audience this author reaches is versatile. In this and the other book Rage I really dig how a plot is established a love story unfolds and the creation of strong female roles who withstand severe chaotic situations. I like see justice being served and throw in some smut too.

Okay I can’t wait for this book to release so I can get the physical copy to put next to Rage.
I absolutely ate this book up and I’m so glad that the characters from Rage were in this one too, I love them so much. This can be read as a stand-alone but I highly recommend reading Rage first since those characters are heavily involved in Chaos and just because it’s a good f*cking book.
Something about a hitman and a spicy book, it’s just got all the right ingredients. This was very spicy, very bloody, a little traumatic and a lot 🖤𝖗𝖔𝖒𝖆𝖓𝖈𝖊🖤
I feel like there’s not too much I can give away without spoiling it but just read it if you like hitmen, hitwomen, spicy dark romance, and violence.

I always enjoy ARC reading for J.S Cannon, she is so extremely talented and never disappoints!
This story was a perfect edition to the world in which we had met Rage and Jase, Now we have Savannah (Chaos) and Declan!
I would Highly recommend reading Rage first before diving into this beauty!

Savannah "Chaos" truly is a fighter even when she is at her lowest after everything she had to experience. She still didn't stop fighting for herself. It was amazing to see her get her revenge and blossom into more a confident badass who takes no crap from anyone!
Delan "Dex" stole me from the beginning his need to protect her and wash away all her sadness had me in my feels. THIS MAN IS EVERYTHING! He is the absolute standard!
I really enjoyed the flow of this book and bringing in other Characters from Rage was a fun surprise. I loved the banter between them all and the friendship that Rage and Chaos create was amazing. The twins part had me SCREAMING!!! SO good JS really knows how to write the gore and I am for it!
Overall I rated this one a 4.5 the spice was at a 5!
The only thing that knocked it down to a tad for me was the build up to Chaos coming to head with her Uncle it needed more for me I felt like he deserved more than what he got! Especially, with all he did.

The banter in this book is unbeatable! And I definitely loved the slow but almost instant friendship between Chaos and Rage. I loved seeing Rage in this book it was cool to see them in their life after the first book. Also if you know me you know I love a man made of red flags and Declan was just that! A red flag with a soft spot for only his girl!!
I loved Chaos’ story and how she embraced her trauma, it hit home for me in some ways and I definitely had a large amount of respect for her.
The spice was so yummy! Virgin FMC and breath play so that was perfection!
Overall I loved this book, maybe even more than the first one but a re-read will have to determine that! There’s just something about a group of hot men who care for nothing else but their people.

The way I had myself dragging out this read so I wouldn’t finish and be left in my feelings is a true testament to Chaos and what J. S. Cannon put into this book. The amount of highlights…insane and I was immediately emotionally invested from the first page! Like what?! I love me a cinnamon roll and Sir Declan…🥵🥵. Go ahead and add him to your list of book boyfriends…better yet HUSBAND. I may be swooning over that man right there but I absolutely love and need more Rage and Chaos shenanigans in the future because that’s a duo I didn’t know I needed. We all love unhinged FCs so that’s all I’ll say on that 🖤
My heart is full and I’ll just sit here and not know what direction I should be moving in because I just want to sit in this book a little bit longer.

Rage was one of my favorite books of 2023
Chaos is now a top contender for 2024.
Chaos had the usual JS Cannon flair- humor, trauma, all the sexy times, and just a dash of murder. Or a lot.
I would 100% recommend reading Rage before reading Chaos as it will really enhance the experience and emotions you’ll feel.
Man JS can really write a gut wrenching fmc. My heart broke into a million pieces for Savannah and what she had to endure.
And don’t even get me started on Declan Archer because good lord. That man and his ladder are a walking red flag, that I just wanna eat right up.
Also Storm is the cutest little menace ever.
The cameos of my favorite people from Rage was also a nice bonus.

I was extremely privileged to be a part of her ARC team. If I didn’t have 4 kids and a vacation I was packing and preparing for I would’ve finished this book in like 2 hours. It is sooooo good. It’s fast pace but not so much that you lose plot or character detailing. She brings the characters to life beautifully and the story keeps you on your toes. I felt like I never knew what was going to happen next. It has the touch her and you die trope which is always a favorite. You’ll fall in love with the way Declan the mmc loves Savannah the fmc. 1000 out of 10 definitely recommend you read this!

This book started strong and immediately had me intrigued to see what was going to happen. The imagery was so vivid; I could picture each and every event so clearly and lately, that’s been hard for me in books. Be sure to check the trigger warnings as well, this book left me feeling all the feels and I’m okay with that.
I thought I needed Jase in my life from Rage, but let me tell you, Dex 🥵. If you’ve read Rage, she returns and her friendship with Savannah (Chaos) is what we all need and was simply perfect. 📕

Uh- idk about this one. I'm starting to feel that all the Declan's I read about are cringy. I liked the dynamic at first but I swear to you it wasn't a relationship, bro was just obsessed and was coming on so strong it was a tad too much.

I loved everything about this one! Where to begin without spoilers, MMC hitman Dex meets FMC Savannah, let the bloody fun begin! Rage also makes a guest appearance that makes my little black heart oh so happy! Pom poms!! Cackle. Snickering pickles. I love when authors make you look at food in new light! Put this one in your TBR for sure. Blood and spice and sauce oh my!

Everyone Savannah loves ends up dead. Her uncle killed her family, and is looking for her. She found a friend named Nick that helped her with getting a fake identity, but he ending up dead from an overdose. So Sav has completely shut herself out from people.
Until she meets Declan/Dex. Declan is a hitman and has been hired to look after Sav. He knows everything about her, but he wants more. He ends up pushing himself into her life and she instantly falls for him.
Sav is a strong FMC! She is not afraid to stand up for herself and fight!
Also if you have read “Rage” then Rage and Jase are both in this book.
I absolutely love how unhinged Sav and Rage are together!!

I loved this!!! I just finished a series so I wanted something short, spicy and fast paced and this was everything I wanted plus more. I absolutely love Savannah and Declan. their chemistry was everything and they definitely were made for each other! Jase and Rage being in the story is honestly what I loved the MOST. I am a bigggg Jase fan. so I was kicking my feet and giggling everytime he made an appearance. I also love Sav and Rage’s friendship- they’re both badass women and I think they make great friends! I would absolutely love love love more from them stressing their men out and keeping them on their toes! oh and sweet baby storm was the perfect addition to the story. I hope we get more of these couples in the future!

I’m not normally a dark romance reader, but something about J.S. Canon’s books always manages to reel me in, and Chaos is definitely my favorite book of her’s that I’ve read so far!
Declan and Savanah are everything. I loved their relationship so much. They had so many good moments throughout the book that I’m obsessed with, but I don’t want to spoil anything. 🙈
The connection to Rage was really cool too. I loved seeing Rage and Jase again…. Especially Jase. I am Jase’s number one fan and defender so I was screaming everytime he popped up.

I wasn’t expecting much from this one after the first but enjoyed this one more, with the extra length I think we got more of a storyline but still a relatively short, fast paced, dark & smutty read.
Again similar to butcher & blackbird series vibes this was like following on & getting our second couple in the storyline with the same traits.

I enjoyed this book a lot, it had something for everyone
While it is a stand alone, it has cross characters from Rage
In chaos we follow Savannah and Declan and the trauma they both endured before finding each other
For me it was a fun easy read with spice, love, friendship and revenge

This book was something. When I got this book I was in the middle of my exams and I never thought I would be able to finish it. After exams the reading slump took over me and it was hard for me to get in any book and I procrastinated (never thought I would procrastinate reading a book but here we are). But the was J. S. Cannon wrote about Dex and Chaos had to come over my slump and swallow me. Chaos was fun character. The process of her grief to anger and healing was so well described. Dex, of course him being the most supportive husband 😫😫 (I need someone like him). I loved the friendship of Chaos and Rage, and their weapons, alcohol and sweet night out. (Although the one time it was shown it was Virgin because Chaos was healing and Rage was in Mama Bear mode). Also, I aspire to keep my future partner on their toes just like Rage and Chaos did hehehehehe 😁😁😁.

“Have you ever met someone who doesn’t want to live most days, but still fights tooth and nail to hang on? That’s me.”
Immediately, the vibes were vibing for me with this book. That passage alone had me like, “yep, I know EXACTLY how that feels.”
Something in Savanah died the night she lost her family. In a way, the rage and revenge that built inside her became her super power. A little bit of female rage never hurt anyone…that didn’t deserve to be on the receiving end of it at least.
Dex is her neighbor/stalker/hired hitman-type who thinks he has to work overtime to keep her safe in bad neighborhoods at night. When the last thing our little chaos needs is protection.
These two were perfectly written. They are the kind of obsessed partner a girl dreams about. Well, that and the absolutely creative and insane spicy scenes were to die for!! Holy shit these two were hot!
I thoroughly enjoyed how Savanah leaned in to her impulses and embraced her dark side. And I loved even more seeing that she had a “found family” that helped her flourish.
It was nice to see Rage and Jase again!
Immediately, the vibes were vibing for me with this book. That passage alone had me like, “yep, I know EXACTLY how that feels.”
Something in Savanah died the night she lost her family. In a way, the rage and revenge that built inside her became her super power. A little bit of female rage never hurt anyone…that didn’t deserve to be on the receiving end of it at least.
Dex is her neighbor/stalker/hired hitman-type who thinks he has to work overtime to keep her safe in bad neighborhoods at night. When the last thing our little chaos needs is protection.
These two were perfectly written. They are the kind of obsessed partner a girl dreams about. Well, that and the absolutely creative and insane spicy scenes were to die for!! Holy shit these two were hot!

Savannah (Chaos) and Dex
Savannah had lost everyone and everything she loved in the blink of an eye. Broken beyond repair, she ran to save her life but merely existed. Until she met hitman Dex. Hellbent of protecting her, he fell for her and bought her into his world.
Loved the crossover with Rage and Jase being heavily featured in Chaos also. I did find the stories to be very similar, having read Rage right before Chaos. But I loved the relationship between Rage and Chaos. That was my favourite part of the story, so awkward in the beginning, then killing together
Chaos was a completely different woman by the end of the book, and her reckoning was poetic. Devoured this book also

First off I want to say how thankful I am that I got to be apart of J.S.Cannons arc team (my first arc ever btw! 🥹) I absolutely loved this book. I’m obsessed with Dex he’s a new book boyfriend of mine 😏 Getting to see Jase and Rage again made my heart so happy! The storyline of this book was insane in the best way possible and had me hooked from the beginning. Savannah is such a badass FMC and I love how Dex is willing to break anyone’s leg 🦵🏼 that stands in her way! J.S. Cannons writing style flows so well and makes for such a great easy read. You can read Chaos as a stand-alone but I highly suggest you read Rage first. Please check the triggers warnings as always. 🖤

Thank you to J.S Cannon for letting me have the privilege of reading and reviewing your newest release!
The amount of highlights in this book, especially at the beginning made me realize that I have more to talk to my therapist about than I thought... but to be able to relate to the FMC on such an emotional level made me really love the book so much more.
I was rooting for the FMC the entire time, she is such a badass.
I love that Rage and Jase were brought back into this one, I love Rage so much and all of them together was the perfect story.
Also it was SO spicy and so good... the epilogue was everything.
