Clementine’s divorce from her cheating husband is a done deal, well almost. They are just waiting for the Judge to sign the paperwork and then she is free! Life is looking good, and so is her high school crush, Seth. It doesn’t hurt that Seth’s daughter, Cheeto, has captured her heart and also has the woowoo juju.
Life looks good indeed. But Jinny Jingle, AKA The black and decker pecker wrecker, wants Clementine’s house and will go to any lengths to get it, including framing Clementine for the attempted murder of Darren, her soon to be ex-husband.
Now instead of starting a new chapter in her life, Clementine has to prove her innocence so she doesn’t end up serving life. With the help of the newly formed Goodness Army that consists of her wacky tabacky smoking aunt, her old high school counselor who shifts into a house cat, the town busy-body who turns invisible after 5 beers and a cast of a few others and the help of her characters from her books, it’s time to write the wrongs.
I was absolutely delighted with this book. I found myself laughing out loud and wondering when my mid-life magical powers will kick in.
