Icarus is a new, developing Sci-Fi / Action series based around the exploits of the interstellar vessel Icarus and its crew, starting on June 30th of the year 2209. Each individual book contains one 'Episode', which will link together to form an ever-expanding universe and story, and continue to develop upon the characters and events within.Book story is fast-paced and exciting, but contains plenty of description to allow one to understand and immerse themselves in the Sci-Fi universe that has been created. Tense fight scenes, unique technologies and interesting characters are aplenty in this first instalment in what I hope will be a long and prosperous book series.Episode one this pilot episode, a routine scouting mission goes awry and the crew of the Icarus find themselves fighting for survival against a superior alien force. The fight leaves several crew members, including the heroic Lieutenant Jarod Carver, stranded on the frozen planet called Veroc IV, where they must attempt to discover more about their attackers and their motives... Could this be the first sign of an alien conspiracy that could threaten the very Earth itself?
