Donnie The Dancing Donkey is a sweet story about a a donkey having a dream to dance. Despite the adversity he faces from bullies, Donnie faces his fears and finds the courage to follow his passion. Donnie practices honing his skills and perfecting his moves. As the music starts and he steps onto the stage, the crowd watches in awe. His graceful movements and heartfelt performance captivate everyone, including the very bullies who once doubted him. By the end of his dance, Donnie proves that with determination, dreams really can come true.

Donnie the Dancing Donkey is teased by classmates, who don't consider him a good dancer at all. How will Donnie cope with stage fright when he is unexpectedly called in to cover for the injured lead dancer? It is a delightful and encouraging rhyming story to read out loud. However, some small writing is hard to read.
