Wonderful Short Sapphic Romance!
What a great read! It was quite lovely ;). I would definitely read more of Blake and Tori’s story! There was a decent character build of both MCs even being such a quick read! Their connection was palpable and the tension release was sizzling! If you are looking for a quickie, definitely read this short sapphic tale!!

Lovely
This fast-paced, insta-love debut novel by Cade Locke was beautiful. The MC was healing from prior hurt and grew enough in this short story to see what was in front of her. The characters had depth. It was one of the best insta-love books I have read recently.

This was a fabulous quick read. I was super impressed for a debut. The storyline was a super fun one for those who are fans of rebounds and insta love. The masc character is one of my favorites I have read as a masc-person myself. Some of the dialogue could get a little stiff here and there but overall this is a novella I would highly recommend.

A Super “Lovely” and Exciting Short!
Welcome new writer! This piece of work was exciting and sexy. The connection between Tori and Blake started with a tender moment and quickly moved to attraction. Tori escapes a cheating girlfriend and flies to Toronto. As she puts on her headphones to listen to music, song after song has her rethinking what happened and suddenly she can’t hold her tears anymore. Not caring who is in the next seat, her tears just keep coming until she feels a hand cover hers and just stays there, giving her a quiet support. After leaving the plane and airport, Tori sees the person who offered support on the plane. Blake introduces herself and offers Tori a close place for a beer and food. Tori is taken with this person and goes along. What Tori quickly learns about Blake has her agreeing to spend the night at Blakes. The storytelling proceeds with the backstory about Blake and Tori and that connection is turning into chemistry which leads to feelings. Well written and beautifully executed. Can’t wait for the continuation!

I don't typically write reviews, but I can't get this novella out of my mind. I wish I could put a poster of the cover on my wall.
I want to both be Blake and be with them. They have stolen my heart and I can't even describe how much I enjoyed the spice. It was so great to read a nonbinary MC and feel represented. I actually stopped the next book I was reading to go back and read this one again. I didn't think I'd ever return it to Kindle Unlimited, so I bought it.
Cade Locke, please keep writing. I can't wait to read more of your work!

Lovely by Cade Locke had an interesting story that I enjoyed, but the writing itself was a bit hard to get through. There were a lot of repeated phrases, and sometimes the descriptions went into detail that didn’t really feel necessary for what was happening. It also got confusing at times with who was speaking or where the focus was, which made it tough to follow the characters.
I think the book could benefit from more time spent fleshing out the scenes and transitions between them. A little more structure and flow would have helped things feel smoother overall as well as deepen the character development.
Even with these issues, I did like the story itself, and I’d like to see how the author grows from here. There’s definitely potential with more refining.

Cade Locke is single-handedly changing my perspective on novellas and I'm absolutely loving it. I am once again just so impressed with their ability to provide such a moving, sexy, enjoyable story in so little time.
This story somehow broke my heart and warmed it at the same time, all in under 100 pages! Tori’s ability to process what she's going through while simultaneously evaluating herself is impressive for a character. It's also a great example of how well the author can build strong, mature characters. The image they painted of Tori’s backstory was done so well that my heart actually hurt a little while I was reading it. (But not for long because Blake just knows how to save the day!)
Blake is truly the dream partner. The butch knight in shining armor with the ability to make the reader swoon instantly right along with Tori. Every time I thought Blake couldn't get any better, any sweeter, they would show another piece of themselves and become that much more amazing. As a queer and nonbinary person it was beautiful to see myself reflected in a loving character that I enjoyed so much.
I'm still wrapping my mind around how Cade Locke was able to put such amazing dialogue, wit, emotion, spice, and proper nonbinary representation all into 80 pages. It's extremely refreshing to be so easily pulled into a story and become truly immersed in it so quickly.

Oh, I want more Tori and Blake! There is so much chemistry in such a short story, and you really fall in love with these two characters. Tori was looking for a new start after her life fell apart. Blake has a huge heart and is always looking for ways to help anyone. Super sweet, romantic, and very swoon-worthy!

Lovely indeed!
This was my first read from Locke but it certainly won't be my last! I enjoyed every minute of it and couldn't wait to pick up where I'd left off with Tori and Blake!

Once I started, I couldn't put it down!
It's heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time.
I suffered with Tori and was so happy that she met such a wonderful angel like Blake in such a difficult time.
I don't want to say much about the plot. I don't want to spoil anything.
The two are so sweet from the first second.
They take an unusual path to getting to know each other, but a beautiful one! It's a short novella.
Accordingly, everything starts slowly and develops quickly. It has an extremely beautiful and, my goodness, extremely hot happy ending! I'm serious, guys, hot, hot, hot!
I would love to read more from these two beauties.
The story is well written and so emotional.
I see a lot of potential for more!!!
