I loved this book. Great world building and wonderful characters. Easy to read and beautifully written. Addictive plot. I had many emotions when reading this book.
Scarlett meets a man at the masquerade, and they have a scorching kiss. Later, she discovers that Maxwell Sterling bought the company her father worked for and fired him. When she finds out that Maxwell is the man she kissed at the masquerade, she feels quilty. Maxwell proposes a fake marriage to Scarlett in exchange for 15 million dollars. She agrees. Maxwell has an adorable little daughter, Emily. The chemistry and tension between Maxwell and Scarlett is very hot. I loved interactions and banter between them. I instantly fell in love with little Emily, she is such a cutie.
Overall, I loved this book very much. If you’re a fan of fake marriage, billionaire single dad romance then you’re in for a treat.

This was an emotional romance about Maxwell "Max" and Scarlett "Lettie", once I started reading this book I had a hard time putting it down. It's an enjoyable read with wonderful characters and a fantastic storyline. There's an intense chemistry between Max and Lettie. I highly recommend reading this book. I look forward to reading more from Morgan Jacobs.

This book packs a hard hit in the romance department. Morgan has written a book that will keep your interest the WHOLE time you’re reading about Scarlett and Maxwell. I don’t want to ruin a good thing by giving away steamy details, but I will say that how the book ends brought great to my eyes just showing how everyone deserves to find Happiness and Love ❤️.

Wrong idea
Thinking she wanted to help her friend and family, she accepted marriage proposal that should've benefited both parties. Max would've done anything for his daughter and his company. Marrying Emily should've done that until his ex became obsessed with destroying him.
Good story. Lots of ex drama.
