The Hunt: A Western Adventure

Rate this book
A brand new Western adventure novel from bestselling Western authors Charles Ray and David Watts that will keep you on the edge of your seat with action, adventure and traditional Western justice!

Luke Bronson, a retired Texas Ranger, is called on by the governor to travel to East Texas to end the depredations of the oddly-named Butterchurn Gang. J.D. Pettit, a sixteen-year-old, convinces his parents to let him strike out alone in pursuit of a white stallion that was spotted near their ranch in Sweetwater. His hunt takes him east where his pack horse is stolen when he’s distracted while corralling the stallion. Luke and J.D. encounter each other not too far from the East Texas town of Nacogdoches and Luke agrees to help J.D. recover his horse as soon as he’s taken care of the job the governor sent him to do.

Not only do their paths converge, but so do their hunts, and it changes life for both of them in ways they could never have imagined.

A good read. About a 16 year old boy hunting a white stallion and a older Texas Ranger hunting an outlaw gang. When their paths cross they join forces.
