Once again, I absolutely loved this book by C.H. James. The story was amazing and the characters were relatable and well developed. I loved them. I always wish I knew more of their story. The way everything played out was creative and I never wanted to stop reading. I read it all in one sitting. I can’t wait to read more!

Once again C.H. James does not disappoint. This is one of my favorite stories yet! Noah and Hazel are SO good together. When they see one another for the first time in a few years, to them spending the weekend together. Neither of them thinking the other is even interested.. little did they know. Such a great start to a new series, not to mention, who doesn’t love hockey?!

One-star for this book. The whole book for me was cringy and I had a hard time powering through it. Plus on top of being so cringy, I felt like the book was also just poorly written. My recommendation would be to skip this book and find something else to read.

It would have been a 3 star quick read. But I'm tired of writers equating 'not pretty' with plus size.
Having the FMC think she's not pretty cause she's bigger is a tiresome trope that needs to die already.

WOW!! I couldn't put this one down. I absolutely love it!! This was a nice quick, short read.
Noah sister, Ellie has been best friends with Hazel since high school. Noah has been a Vancouver Viking since he was twelve. Hazel’s has been away for three years and cames back to surprise her best friend Ellie who is also Noah’s twin. Ellie takes Hazel to a hockey game and afterwords they go to the locker room. Noah sees Hazel next to his sister at the game and can’t believe she finally back from New York City. Ellie takes off with Miles, another hockey player leaving Hazel. Noah comes out of the shower to find Hazel sitting at his locker. They head to the bar together and sit and talk. Hazel gets up to use the restroom and when she turns back she sees a blonde woman talking to Noah. She decides to leave knowing he’s not interested in her. When Noah catches Hazel leaving he tries to follow her, getting caught by fans. When he gets outside he finds her footprints in the snow. He follows them to the local Inn and bursts through the door finding Hazel at the front desk. He hears the receptionist tell her they are booked, so he goes to help telling them to give her the emergency room. When they get to the room it’s smaller then the others and Hazel ask him why he came after her. He tells her he wants her and she kisses him. She know she needs to tell him so between kisses she lets him know she a virgin. He tells her he was sixteen and it wasn’t anything special but he wants to make her first time something to remember. They head to Noah’s place and he gets everything set up while Hazel sips on her wine. He tells her to sit on the bed while he changes into a g-string and grabs the message oil. He tells her he wants to taste her as he takes off her clothes. He pleasures her then rolls her over to message her. She then flips around and tells him it’s his turn and takes him into her mouth. Hazel tells him she wants him, he asks her if she’s ready then slowly sinks into her. He thrusts into her and they both come together. He roll off her and they lay in silence for a while, she asks him if everything is okay, he tells her he’s fine. He rolls to his side to face her and then tells her he loves her. She’s so shocked she repeats it several times. She reaches for him and tells him she loves him too. Hazel is sitting next to Ellie at a hockey game while everyone chants around them. She needs to tell her best friend about her and Noah. When Hazel is sitting at the coffee shop Ellie works at about to head back to New York City she asks her what she’s been doing Hazel takes that opportunity to tell her about Noah. Ellie is so happy for her she starts planning their wedding and starts talking babies. Three months later everyone is at the hockey game Noah’s parents, and Hazel parents. It’s the start of the playoffs and the Vikings win. Then the lights go out, jaws music is playing. One light shines on Noah who is beside Hazel down on one knee holding a ring box open. She nods to him and jumps into his arms. Everyone around them congratulates them. She is his forever and ever.

Wenn in dieser Storyline nicht die Ballkleider und Magie fehlen würde, hätte man beim Lesen meinen können es handelt sich um eine Disney Geschichte so süß war dieses Buch.
Ich fand diese Kurzgeschichte wirklich süß und es liest sich sehr entspannt. Man kann hier zwar keine tieferen Einblicke erwarten und die Handlungen sind oberflächlich, jedoch bietet es ein paar Emotionen und die Charaktere sind einfach gut gestaltet.
Hazel war anfangs schüchtern und kam wie ein Mauerblümchen rüber, doch sie hat sich im Verlauf der Geschichte und der Kürze dessen gut geöffnet.
Noah hat seine harte Schale gegen seinen weichen Kern ausgetauscht. Nur diese romantische geste mit Hazel's erstem Mal war mir zu to much- auch wenn ich denke ich sich jedes Mädchen so etwas gewünscht hätte.
Alles im allen ein schönes kurzes Buch, perfekt für zwischendurch.

If I've said it once, I've said it a million times - I love the best friend's brother trope. Makes me jealous that I didn't experience it, but love it too much to stop reading. I'm also very into twins (hoping to have my own set one day). Also, cannot get enough of sports romances specifically hockey! Hazel and Noah had a cute story and I loved that he felt so strongly from the very beginning. I do wish the story was longer though but I guess that's the deal with instalove novella type books. Excited for Ellie and Miles' story next!.

I fell in love with Noah and Hazel!! Noah is Hazel’s best friend’s brother. Noah is also the star of the Vancouver hockey team. Noah has always harbored feelings for Hazel. Because Hazel is a BBW, she has little confidence in herself. She, too, has had feelings for Noah.
Noah will do anything to keep Hazel, but Hazel does not understand why he would want her when he could have any woman. Noah does everything to prove his love to her. This book got steamy!!
This author has become a favorite of mine. I love all of her books that I have read. I can’t wait to read more books from her!.

I loved reading this short sports romance story. This is an author I never hesitate to pick up. One of the things I enjoy most about this author is her writing skills that make her story pop. They come to life with each word. Her attention to details make the story realistic, I have no issues picturing myself in the story. I enjoyed how the characters where able to pull me into the story and keep me engaged to the end. This may be a short story but it sure packs a punch in the steamy romance department. A great entertaining story that I would highly recommend.

I loved this sports romance! Noah and Hazel are so cute. They never got together because Noah thought Hazel didn’t want him. Noah does everything he can to prove that he does truly love her, to get her to accept her feelings towards him. I enjoyed the hockey parts of the books and how it balanced well with their developing romance. This was a fun quick read you will not want to put down, I recommend you try it. I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Noah and Hazel. Noah is Hazel's best friend Ellie's twin brother and her crush. She's in town visiting Ellie when an opportunity to spend time with Noah alone is trust upon her. Noah is drawn to Hazel n but afraid she won't feel the same. But when given a chance a HEA in the makings.

You ever want something to be 5 stars but because of your personal hang up it comes in average this is it for me it has what I want and every thing but a few lines here and there undo it for me personally. I think I just want dirty talk and the MMC is Rincon cute which I like but want more for myself. Nothing bad with the writing just my personal thinking that goes from five to three... Hmmm maybe I three point five

I thought this short fast paced romance was actually quite sweet and so steamy! I found that Noah was such a sweetheart as was Hazel. They had such great chemistry together but also on how well they knew each other. This was a very fun and entertaining story.

Great short book. Does what it says on the tin: curvy woman, buff hockey player, best friend brother, both wanting each other for years and finally take the plunge and get a HEA. Nice spice level and certainly peaked my interest for the next book in the series. And will be reading more if this author’s books.

This is a good story. Great characters. Entertainment value is there. I have read 2 other stories just like this. The most important part of the story was unrealistic. If you don’t mind the feeling of Deja vu and love steamy romances you will enjoy this short story. This Author has many great stories to choose from.

This was a sweet quick read about Hazel and her bff's twin brother noah. Back home for the weekend, Hazel and noah finally give into their feelings for each other. I enjoyed their will they won't they and the scene noah created for Hazel to make her first time memorable.

Omg Noah and Hazel are absolutely amazingly adorable!!!! I can’t believe they had feelings for eachother as long as they did but I’m so glad they ended up finally realizing it!!!!! Now I can’t wait to read Ellie and Miles book because I know there’s got to be something between them!!!!!

Do you want insta-love with extra extra cheese? Then this is the book for you. Not gonna lie, it was not my cup of tea. The story was super cliché and I wish there was some sort of plot to the story.

Noah maybe tough at times but he is also sweet and cheesy. Hazel didn't get a chance to show her personality in this one. If you are looking for a 100 page good book this is one of them.
