Instead of In the Grip of Darkness, this book should have been called In the Grip of Complete and Utter Madness. As I've said before, I'm not a fan of sci-fi type of stories, but because I had already been hooked on this series, I continued to read more. I will admit that some of the awesome Wally's creations are awe inspiring (yes, I'm aware of the contradictory statements. Lol!), but the type of research/action plan that this psychopathic individual was doing is so far beyond what I'm comfortable with it's not even funny! I would say that the Council had driven him to this by their horrific actions, but ultimately, he was already well into his madness before they struck, which he brought on the tragedy himself. Smart people can be so freaking stupid!! Ok, enough of my personal opinion on the subject. Lol! Overall, it was another intense, complex, and suspenseful story, and a great addition to the series. I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.
If you are old enough to remember Star Trek , Wrath of Khan, youll notice the similarities instantly and that's not a good thing. This is supposed to be a spy thriller, not sci-fi The Alison situation is beyond believable, no one would miss the clues and given the suspicious nature of all of those at E&E, most certainly not them and by the end of the book, Molly should be screaming foul It's book 24, is the author struggling with new ideas? It certainly is a consideration
These books are the very best to get your attention and never let you go! You will lose a bunch of sleep, but if you're retired, and you've nodded off, you'll figure out where that happened and keep on reading ! I've done it thru 24 of them and pre-order 25 ! David Archer is a genius at writing books like this! Gary 🇨🇦
Another brilliant Noah Wolf thriller with his Camelot team combating two enemies this time. Don't let this worm into you! Keep a clear head while reading - page turning as usual. Love it - so far fetched but you could almost believe it could be possible.
These authors are the bomb!! Love the Noah Wolf series and the stories only get better. Great storytellers. Scary, mind control, hive mentality but they persevere.
Never a disappointed in a Noah Wolf book. I couldn't put it down. Great writing. I m already waiting for book 25. Such creative writing. Its a excellent book. Just wow.
Noah and his team face a battle unlike any they have faced before. The Council is an adversary that is also being targeted by a mad scientist. Noah's team appear to be stuck in the middle and time is running out!
I have enjoyed this series. I am looking forward to the next. Which I have already pre ordered. Off to check out what else I might enjoy until it gets here.
Excellent story and edge of seat suspense with the turn of each page. I am looking forward to many future adventures with the same last minute escapes that show the devious mind of the author.
Not the usual exiting story line. Too much detail at times got boring. I used to love starting a new book in the series. Not sure I will even read the new one.
