Motorbike racer? Never would have thought to read a romance about one. But I absolutely loved it!
Livie & Nix! I love good workplace, secret romance. Nixon is the bad boy of the racing circuit and is in need of some good PR. Livie is looking for a fresh start, after her last job didn’t exactly end well.
These two clash from the start, but oh man does that chemistry ooze off the page. Their tension & banter was so much fun. There were also really sweet tender moments. Watching an MMC melt for only the FMC is one of my favorite things. This story also deals with mental health and is handled with care. I was NOT expecting it but dang it … Cliffhangers are NO fun!! Very interested to see where the next book will take us!
There are a couple triggers to check before reading, most are off page incidents.

Wow, I thoroughly enjoyed this one. You've got this forbidden workplace romance, a motorsport setting, a FMC that is determined to prove herself, and so many secrets that threaten what our MC's are building both together and apart.
You need to read this. Just be prepared to curse Evelyne for leaving you hanging on that cliff cause it's a doozy.

Nixon Armas shocked me!!! This man was everything, he was so precious, and I loved seeing the different layers to him. Him and Livie were adorable!!! They went through so so much, individually, but also together, and I fell more in love with them as I read.
I honestly wasn’t expecting a lot of what happened, and it had me fully intrigued. I’d say once I got about 40% in I was not able to put it down!! I was just eating them up!!! The banter was top tier. The spice was so good 🤭 I’m not always a huge fan on the single pov, HOWEVER, this was done so so well!!! I would read another book just from Nixon’s pov though 😏
I love these two, and I cannot wait for more of them!! I’m so ready for Luca’s story next though 🫶🏼

I DNF this book at 41%. I was reading it for a book club but I just can’t. I’m in my era of no longer forcing myself to read books I’m struggling with.
I DNF this book because the writing is very clunky, it jumps around and I’m constantly confused. I’m frequently re-reading sentences/passages because I think I read it wrong as I’m left utterly confused. And after re-reading it, I’m still confused. There are also grammar/spelling errors. And I’m not feeling the romantic chemistry between the MCs.
I was so excited to read this. I was looking forward to a sports romance that was not about hockey.
I ultimately stopped reading this because it was legit putting me in a reading slump.

Ughhh Nix & ‘Livid’! I miss them already!!
I was hooked so quickly with this one. This may be my first Evelyne Sperring novel but it won’t be my last!!
The thing that hooked me so quickly was Livie & Nix’s initial ‘dislike’ of one another. Their banter and sparring was so entertaining and provided such great tension!!
Throughout the story we follow both main characters while they handle some very difficult life events/situations all while navigating their ‘forbidden’ relationship. All sensitive topics were handled respectfully and sensitively by the author.
A great story with so many twists and turns!
The way Nix fell SO hard for Livie and wasn’t afraid to show it - he is everything! Their banter, tension and relationship was addicting. I was always excited to turn the page.
I loved reading Livie’s strength and determination, she gave as good as she got and it made for fun reading. Even though Nix fell hard, Livie matched it and I love their chemistry and relationship.
There is nothing they wouldn’t do for one another.
A special mention for the nicknames - they get me every time😩
I also loved Luca and his friendship with Livie. I really hope he’ll get his own book!
With a lot going on in the book, there were a few loose ends but nothing that would take away from how amazing this story and couple are.

This book was captivating the moment I started it & so eloquently written. Evelyne did such a great job portraying their relationship as well as allowing the characters to really develop and stand on their own.
Nixon is literal boyfriend goals & Olivia and her ambitions were just perfection!! Their growth and character development was so enthralling. While Olivia was trying to work past her previous employment, her father passing, and a traumatic event in her personal life you were absolutely turning the page to see what move she would make next. Nixon allowing her to help clean up his “bad boy” reputation, his relationship with his mom, and eventually caring more for her than anything else was so endearing.
The spice was delicious, but it never took away from the plot like some scenes can.
I’m so glad I was gifted an ARC, and this will definitely not be my last Evelyne Sperring book!!!

Thank you Evelyne for choosing me as an ARC reader for this novel. This novel had some really good things about it - I like the style of writing and I felt like even though there was a lot of spice, it had depth to it which can sometimes be hard to come across in super spicy novels. On the other hand, I did find it to be a bit rushed. I enjoyed the different parts of the novel such as Livid’s relationship with Nix, Luca, Vinny, her trauma, her relationship with the media, etc. However, I think there were a lot of things left unsaid and it almost felt like mini side quests at times. It did take me a little while to get into it but the ending was soo good I couldn’t stop reading!

This was my first motorbike romance, and I’m obsessed. I loved watching Livie and Nix’s relationship develop. The enemies to lovers trope was so good. It was great when Nix started to become vulnerable with her and was soft only for her.
Livie is the sports publicist, and Nix is a cocky motorbike champion. The banter, the spice, the emotional depth—it all hit perfectly. I loved the slow burn, the nicknames (Nix calling her “Livid” was adorable).
I can’t wait for the next book!

We love a spicy, enemies to lovers, workplace romance and this one did not disappoint! Also, a French motorcycle riding MMC 🥵
This was a solid book! I loved the spice and the banter between the two main characters. I liked reading how the characters healed and overcame past trauma and obstacles together. There were a couple problems that the character’s faced that I felt like could have been left out due to the fact it seemed to drag the story out unnecessarily, but it wasn’t so much that I didn’t still enjoy reading it all! Plus, that ending! Not what I was expecting! Definitely would still recommend this to friends who like the tropes portrayed! ☺️

I love Livie and Nix! Their chemistry is unmatched and I really enjoyed seeing their relationship develop on the pages of this book. I loved how they both lifted each other up and made the other person better as the relationship progressed.
Also the spice is on another level 🥵

This was my first Motorsport book and I was pleasantly surprised and I enjoyed it.
It is a forbidden workplace romance between a determined FMC, Liv, trying to prove herself again in her profession and the bachelor bad boy MMC, Nixon.
I will say at first it took me a bit to get into the book, but once I was hooked I didn’t want to put it down! It went from a I hate you, to an I love you relationship. The banter between the two was great and the chemistry was great between the two and spicy.

This was such a cute read. Livie and Nix were adorable and the way he absolutely adored Livie—top notch. Although. There were some awkward moments in dialogue or writing, things that happened but we weren’t told, people showing up suddenly…
The hot and cold of Nix and Livie’s relationship and their personalities towards each other was kinda confusing but the entire thing was super cute and I enjoyed the read.

Red Flag follows motorbike racing champion Nixon Armas, famous for his speed and bad boy past. PR Manager and sports publicist Olivia Quinn has her work cut out for her in turning his image into the guy everyone adores.
Nix’s character continued to evolve, layer after layer slowly revealed with the help of Livie. Which only strengthens their budding relationship as he helps her work through recent trauma.
The tension between the two is palpable and the smegsy scenes are spicy, albeit a little repetitive.

Nix armas shook my world! And him speaking French? I was a goner. I couldn't put the book down, it was that good. I'm a sucker for forbidden workplace romances. I love the tension and chemistry, and the slow burn of the relationship. It felt so natural. And the writing was so entertaining! I loved seeing the characters work through their trauma and heal. I was not expecting the twist this book is so worth the read. I did not want this book to end.

This was a book I chose for my book club and I LOVED it! It’s about 40% spice and the spice is GOOD. Loved the MMC, loved how obsessed he was with the FMC, and love the strength the FMC found after her sexual trauma, because of her relationship with the MMC. It’s such a fun read and I can’t wait for book 2!

When I first saw the description/tropes for this story, I knew I would enjoy it, but I didn't realise just how much.
Both Livie and Nix had so many struggles to work through and there was definitely some difficult emotional topics, and I absolutely adored them together!
This was single pov, and I would love to read the exact same story again but for Nix pov too. That man was so gone for Livie ❤️

I had a good time reading this book! It was a fun blend of Sports Romance and Work place Romance. I enjoyed the forbidden secret nature of their relationship for the majority of the book.
I also thought our two main characters had good chemistry with each other. Loved seeing their relationship develop.
I also thought the side characters were well written. I liked that we got to know some of the other people on his team and see her relationship develop with them as well.
I can’t speak to how the sport was represented but the racing scenes were some of my favorite.
The plot kept me well entertained throughout, and there was a nice blend of spice. It was well balanced in my opinion. Maybe slightly on the spicer side.
Overall I really enjoyed my time reading this one. I would recommend!

This was my first time reading motorbike romance, and I have to say it was exciting and spicey 😏 our MCs Livie and Nixon first hate each other and have a push and pull work relationship. Nixon was a pain at first to Livie, but soon he realized that he was falling for her. Livie tried to fight the connection because she's his publicist, but eventually, they fell into their secret romance. I loved how their connection went from lust to love and had it's
heartfelt moments in between. I love it when a man is a softie for only his girl 🤭 the spicey scenes did not disappoint at all 🥵 Also, there's a motorbike scene 🫣 and that ending... I had a feeling that was coming!

Although the spice was spicing (and there was plenty of it!) this book was so much more than that. This was my first ‘sports romance’ and as well as providing great insight into the sport, the underlying story and themes were really well written and added so much more depth and meaning to the story- which completely captured my attention. I loved the well-dressed, determined and independent FMC but all characters were well written and their development warmed my heart. Armas and Livvie forever ❤️

I loved this book it made me the happiest, made me cry and and emotional mess. 🥹🥹The plot of this book was very strong and I loved very single bit of the story from the start to the end. I’m absolutely in love with Olivia and Nixon they’re the couples that I adore in real life and I especially loved this book for it. 🫶🏻🫶🏻This book is 60% plot and 40% spice which I really loved to see cause the plot really went hand to hand with the spice it was done really freaking well. I’m absolutely in tears and heart eyes for this book😍❤️ I really can’t wait to read more of Evelyne Sperring’s books because this book right here absolutely lovely and amazing!! ❤️❤️

Thank you Evelyne Sperring for this ARC! Man I loved it, this was my first motorcycle MC and I am absolutely here for it.
There’s a forbidden romance, close proximity all wrapped up in a great plot and a sprinkle of danger. There’s also an underlying found family vibe in this. There’s a few tough subjects with Livie in this story but in my opinion they’re handled really well. Be sure to look up the trigger warnings though just in case!
Nix and Livie are stellar, I love them as a couple, I love them as individuals, and I’m hoping I’m going to see more of them! Nixs support and love was a bright light but he’s also an insane bad boy. He falls so hard when he knows he shouldn’t but he definitely doesn’t care.
I will read whatever Evelyne writes let’s be honest but how this books ended was pure emotional damage, send help.
P.S Am I hoping Luca will have his uown book? Yes without a doubt.

ARC review
When I saw the description, I knew I HAD to read this book. As a massive MotoGP fan it's really nice to see motorbikes represented in the Motorsport book world.
I instantly fell in love with Olivia, she knew what she wanted and what she had to do, and she did it! She has her own issues and she works through them becoming an advocate.
Although the author has stated that these characters are completely made up, I did get very Fabio Quarteraro vibes from Nix.
He is a pain in the arse who just needs a little bit of love and someone to look out for him.
They both fix each other and I for one am here for it. After the death of Alv and the rape and everything in-between I was really happy that they have each other.

I can't wait for the rest of the series to come out!

This was a beautiful book and I absolutely loved it! It's a perfect mix of all the things I love in a book! ❤️
I rarely highlight in books but there were so many beautiful/emotional lines and moments that I found myself reading them outloud to my husband and crying when I did because it was so impactful to me. This book has spice but it also is an incredible story with depth and a gripping plot!
Tropes: workplace romance, forbidden love, overcoming trauma, healing, red flag and cinnamon MMC idk how the author pulled it off but he's both and it's perfect.
The pacing/flow of this book is perfect. It is well written and such a great read I couldn't put it down! 🔥Spicy and also very 💝sweet. The perfect combination of the two.
Themes of overcoming trauma, finding healing through truly loving relationships and speaking the truth, prioritizing the people you love, all in the high intensity setting and drama of professional motorbike racing! 🏁🏍️

^ It means hurry up and put those hands where they should be. The way this part had me squealing and my inners are screaming just writing it…
I had the absolute pleasure of Beta reading this book, I devoured it so fast I’m surprised my head didn’t spin.
It’s a workplace / sports romance with a forbidden / secret relationship, diverse characters, cute / angry nicknames ( like really cute ) and he falls first.
Which will become obvious why when you meet Olivia Quinn.
MOTORBIKE RACING. Yes, I know. You want to read it now don’t you? I knew it! No one would be able to resist Nix and especially not the bikes.
If you’re trying to resist, let me say one thing. Onions. So weird.
I fell in love. The kind that’s soul consuming, butterflies in your stomach and wanting to throw up because you’re so giddy.
I usually fall head over heels for the MMC’s in books ( obvs ) but I wholeheartedly adore Livie. I want to be her when I grow up. Please.
Livie is a badass, strong FMC and nothing will get in her way of becoming everything she has wished she could be, not Nix, nor the secret that could be exposed and ruin her fresh start and entire career.
She is the new PR manager for Cilati sport, her biggest task is to pull Nixon Armos in line. Easier said than done when the infamous Armos had a struggling image and the personality of an actual onion. Won’t be too hard. Right? Right…
Nix is a slight grump, with no one really understanding what to do with him and only liking a handful of people.
Enter Livie and well, he ups the anti. It’s a good job he’s pretty.
The plot is gripping, the twist have me unwell and every moment had me creating scenarios in my head, thinking I knew what was coming next. Both MC’s have traumatic pasts, hidden secrets and an incredibly rough ride throughout.
Awful events that unfortunately happen everyday in the real world whilst continuing to shine a light on survivors were executed beautifully and written so beautifully in a fictional way without being to much for us as readers to consume.
Nothing was just thrown into the plot, everything with thought out carefully.

The side characters in the story were the cherry on top. They were all described to us in such a way that it felt like they all equally had an important part in the story and I’m utterly in love with them all.
Okay, so one I didn’t like but I think I like her now. Anywho, I’ll take one of each, but mainly I’ll take one Lu… no. Give me 10.
The relationship between Nix and Livie… it’s a bit like, why isn’t it real? I want it to be. THE ENDING. Stop it. Tears, snot and everything. Those final lines though… absolutely NOT. Don’t do me like that.
Highly recommend you giving this a read when it’s released. Before you ask if it is actually a sports romance, yes. It’s the focus of the plot. So you better get it pre ordered.
