They are married and they need to try to keep it going while he hides a secret about his religion from the ton. She will not find it easy but it may just be worth it all. A delightful tale of love
This is a teaser book that is meant to introduce you to the author, some of her characters, and hints about a series, or in this case two. Sara Adrien is a master at this. Not only is this a story with endearing characters, it is also a history lesson about what it meant to be Jewish in the Regency period. I highly recommend it.
This is the Sequel of The Pearl of All Brides. It is a lovely short story that continues on with the previous wonderful Jewish characters, along with introducing some new ones and letting us know how their lives have progressed, which includes some delightful news. It tells us some interesting techniques of botton making. I really enjoyed the story that includes a bit of drama and intrigue, including the theft of precious content, an important permit required for a special future endeavor, and the recovery of an old artifact, along with beautiful romance. It shockingly ends with a secret in which we must wait to find out when you begin the "Diamond Dynasty" series. I highly recommend reading!
If you like historical romance during the 1800's read this book. Generally, writer's do stories about balls, convenient marriages, sories and more. This author writes about how a different group in that period of time exists, manages, hides and survives. Not only is this a brave step forward but it's also educational in a soft manner. Arnold and Hannah are married and in love. Yet, they must hide their faith, fight for their rights to survive and deal with being outcasts in a society that should have been very inclusive. It's a beautiful story, amazingly written and gently calling everyone to awareness. Don't miss this one.
