I found some choices made by the characters in this book kind of confusing, and didn't really get how the ending resolved the feud(the other pack is just going to end up retaliating again? Also purposefully planning to trap a disabled person in a burning building doesn't seem like the kind of thing you want the characters you're rooting for to do?). Honestly, nothing really felt resolved by the end. I thought this might be a prequel novella but I can't see that it's attached to any other works, and it might have just been trying to pack too much into such a short page count.
