This book was SO good! I blew through it in a day, and it’s one of my favorite reads of 2024. I didn’t think any Dissenter character could top my love for Wes…until I met Javier. “Mi vida” *swoon* Liddy was such a strong character as well, and I loved their romance so much. Even though this is a novella there is no shortage of character building and action. I think Revile is an excellent standalone story, but it’s so much more impactful if you’ve read the first two books in the Dissenter Saga. Highly recommend.

This is such a good book.
I adore the dystopian vibe of it.
I very much recommend it!
I love that it is so similar to the way the world is going,‘I mean, I don’t love that, it’s super sad, but it’s relatable and that is something I like in stories.

The characters are very engaging. I like that it was written in first person, that always makes it easier to connect with the characters

I was hooked from the first chapter, her being a strong main character makes it so amazing for me.
It plays on so many different things that hook you and pull you into the story.

This prequel really takes the cake when it comes to amazing! I’ve honestly never been one for prequels, but this book series (Dissenter saga) has been so good and so easy to fly through reading I knew I had to try it.

5*all the way. We have romance, Javier, easily my fave MMC in this series. Action. And the absolute correct amount of peeks behind the scenes of some of our favourite characters from the books we already have! Plus some hints to their character and what might happen to them in the future.

⭐️ Some MINOR spoilers following but no more than the book description ⭐️

Liddy Le is part of the rebellion. Her task is to go through the Telvian academy get her telvian assignment and then use that to further the rebel cause. But what happens when she starts to see areas of grey in this black and white war? What happens when a De Le Puente falls for her- and as much as she resists she falls back?

But when everything goes wrong and Liddy ends up in a Telvian rehabilitation (torture) facility- Liddys resolve will truly be tested.

Love conquers all in this riveting prequel to the Dissenters Saga. Liddy Le’s POV was such a fun ride of brutal honesty, vibrant personality, beautiful love, and incredible faith. Her relationship with Javier sizzles from page one, as he proves himself more than an even match for her. I cannot recommend this series enough if you are looking for an intense dystopian adventure that delivers on the romance.

Introducing Liddy to our already known Telvia. She is torn between duty and unexpected love, finding herself in an impossible situation to assassinate the one she loves. She’s captured and held in a torturing prison, where she must either find a way to escape or risk saying too much to her captives, all while enduring the torment she’s trying so hard to survive.

This story is a must-read for anyone who enjoys a heart-pounding adventure with a strong emotional core. It had me holding my breath as it masterfully weaves a tale of love, resilience, and rebellion set against all odds against them. If you have not read the first 2 books from the Dissenter saga, I highly recommend you do but even as a stand alone novel, this book is hard to put down. Can't wait to read more from this author.

Absolutely Brilliant 🙌🏻 this was so easy to read. I was lucky enough to have a chance to read this one early and it was an honour!
I tried so hard to go slowly with this one but it was too good to put down. I am reading a few books currently but this book took my attention away from the rest and I couldn’t stop. My spare moments were absorbed in this story.
These characters were so easy to love. June is so sassy and full of attitude and I loved her immediately. When we learn who she really is, I loved her even more! The blossoming romance of the main characters was so fun and cheeky but full of emotion and desire and kept me hooked.
I want more 😅 I want to know what happens next for Liddy and Javier and the other people in their lives, I’m invested now!
There wasn’t any part of this book that I didn’t enjoy, it was a short book but in that space Josephine was able to make me see and feel the characters and become completely invested in their outcomes.
I cannot recommend this enough, honestly 5 ⭐️ brilliance. Thank you for this story ♥️

I had high hopes going into this book. The previous books in the Saga were nothing short of riveting. Revile delivered. On a silver platter. Despite being short, it sure packed one hell of a punch. This book has every bit of depth and complexity of a slow roasted entre with air fryer timeliness. It hit me in all the feels, with rapid succession. With tears falling, I hoped for another chapter, though. I'm ready for the next installment to sate my hunger!

This was a pretty good read! The storyline was easy to follow along with, even without having read any of the prior books 😊

In terms of spice, I’d rate it a 2.5 or 3 out of 5 so if you’re wanting something on the lighter side, this is perfect!

I will say, the micro-aggressions from the FMC toward the MMC definitely made me uncomfortable a few times and I struggled to understand why it was necessary to the overall story but it doesn’t last too long—once I got past that bit, I was good 😂

This series just keep getting better and better!
Revile centers around new characters, Liddy and Javier, and with what's said in Resist, I genuinely thought the ending was going to take a different turn- this twist had me (pleasantly) surprised. Plus, we get tidbits of characters we already know and love from Dissent and Resist.
Javier is the nephew of Raul de la Puente. Liddy is an assassin undercover in Telvia. From the beginning, it is abundantly clear that Javier has his sights set on Liddy, and every time she bites back at him, he sinks a little deeper under her spell.
This is set a few years before the series begins and is an easy weekend read. Trust me, you won't need longer than a weekend, I read this sooo quickly and wished there was more to the story.
And please, for the love of god, someone get these two some cheeseburgers.

Another great read from #JosephineLamont. It was great getting the back story and getting to know some of the earlier characters from the Dissenter series. Shew-wee those prisons are tough. What an enduring and hopefully continued story of Javi & Liddy. "Mi Vida".
Again, lots of action/nail-biting drama, heart flutters, and heartbreaks.
I love your writing and am on the edge of my seat and anxiously awaiting #Rise.
