So, in a the flurry of books I bought about revising writing, I purchased this one by mistake. It is actually about studying, often dubbed "revision" in the UK. That said, the study skills that Blakey enumerates are smart ones. I've encountered many of them in other places, but he puts them in an engaging and easily digestible way that would actually appeal to the average high-schooler or college student. Moreover, while he's focusing on skills associated with particular types of tests, there's much of use here to people who are just wanting some better skills to learn more in school, generally.
