Bydda i'n trio ysgrifennu fy review i yn yr iaith o'r llyfr.
Ond, dw I wedi mwynhau hi. Obviously mae hi'n llyfr plant, ond mae dal yn joio. Mae'r geirfa wedi fy helpu i, ac dw I wedi dysgu llawer. Mae hi'n twt iawn. Dw i wedi rhoi pump seren ond, cofio bod hi'n llyfr plant, ac dw i ddim yn meddwl bod hi'n "wella" o "1984" pa dw i wedi rhoi 4 seren.

This was the first Welsh book I’ve read in one sitting and I really enjoyed it!

I’m currently about to finish Cwrs Sylfaen and figured I’d go back to read a Mynediad level book I had on my shelf but hadn’t got round to yet. I figured it would be a good way of seeing how my reading had improved since starting the courses. It’s improved a lot I can say that much! There was a greater level of ease reading this one now and I didn’t have to stop nearly half as much to look up unfamiliar words as I had to in the past.

I can remember my initial struggles with reading Mynediad level books and now those struggles have transferred into the next level and to Canolradd as I continue to improve and get faster at reading. It was great to go back a level and appreciate how far I’ve come.

There were a few words I was grateful to have the handy vocab lists (featured at the bottom of each page) for and was easily swept into the story and loved the ending. Super enjoyable read!

The third book in Welsh that I've tackled and my favourite so far. A sweet little ghost story that manages to create curiosity despite being a language-learning book. I still had to look up a fair few words, despite the highlighted vocab at the bottom of each page, but as I'm definitely Mynediad it's probably not surprising. I discovered that Google Translate has a camera function, so on the couple of phrases I really got stuck with, holding my phone to the page created an instant translation - good to know! Having read Y Mor previously, I appreciated that this book had a lot more variety when it came to sentence structure, it felt a lot more fluid and lively rather than every other sentence starting with "Roedd... ." I actually enjoyed reading this one, it only took me a few days rather than several months!
