Romance Suspense: Cupid's Arrow Hits The Target/Short Story: Romantic suspense thriller book

I need your help! I screwed up BIG Time!! And I apologize to You!!
I started out writing an article ended up with a short story. The classic poor girl meets rich guy.
Of course I had to put a little twisted in, just to keep you interested. And then the young lady
runs into problems. Not only does she have to work. She also has to take care of her brother,
who is a grown man. We know he ran into a bit of trouble when he was a little younger.
It is always the guy stating it was not my fault!
Now it looks like he's trying to straighten out his life but perhaps he may be dipping into the till.
That being said, she does meet the perfect guy, believing that it will lead her to matrimony.
As all good stories go. There must be a villain, and we have a real prominent villain in this story.
Mr Big loves To Push His Power Around!
Not only is he overbearing, conniving and he's almost at the verge of breaking the law.
And nothing seems to stop him in his pursuit of his mission. Without revealing the mission. Money
is no issue for this gentleman. knowing that most poor people desire money. At almost all costs, but
this time he gets a cold slap in the face and he has a rude awakened from reality.

Cupid has done its thing, it looks like in the near future. There may be some compromise from all sides.
