I liked it enough to finish it.

I found it difficult to relate to the characters and didn't feel any real connection. To me when I read a really good book its finished in hours not days and I feel like I'm in the same "world" as the characters in the story. Reading this I felt too far removed. Mannies are a guilty pleasure of mine and so I wanted to LOVE this….

I had some issues with how much freedom Georgie was given there's a difference between allowing a child to show their personality and be themselves and then there's allowing them to just be spoiled and selfish. Poor Ricky had to put up with so much and everyone around him just thought this was ok…..

I am a sucker for fluffy and take-it-slow stories. This one has both, but somehow I didn't enjoy it. Perhaps because i couldn't really relate with the characters. I found myself bored and kept skipping pages.

This is a super-sweet and adorable story made of happiness. Hardly any conflict, but then it does not really seem to require any to feel satisfying.

Not every sex scene is necessary; that’s true. But they do read well – a mix of intimacy and passion and emotion that I find appealing.

Although I wasn’t too sure about Brent at first, the author does a great job changing the reader’s perception of his character and motivations. In the end everyone is extremely lovable and it’s all just too cute for words. Of course there are plenty of similarities in plot and characters to other books by the author, which I don’t mind at all. Not a problem keeping the good stuff around.

And yeah, the writing is fairly simple, but it packs a punch of its own. I have come to really appreciate the author’s style as it is. Something slightly different, certainly. And I love the fact that the kids never feel like they are just tacked on to fulfil a function; they’re not just empty clichés swiped from a TV commercial the way it sometimes feels with other authors. Lovely.

I’d definitely recommend this story to someone in need of lovey-dovey, sugary goodness without stressful moments.

So this book tool me days to finish mayb my mood or not sure at the time But it was still a good story.
When a rich boy lost his parents then his money he pretty much left homeless until an rich women offered him marriage and he accepted it because he didnt know how to survive any other way. With marriage come an 4year old boy and then later had a daughter of his own. Then his wife died.

So few years later brent is basically rich had to helper as well as friends john and Quinn who are boyfriends and help brent out. But still brent still need help with the kids. Thats when zach comes in Brent did make me annoyed at the start seems like he tried to hard and didnt care much for kids just needed a babysitter. But then i started to like him. But that changed after zach comes into their life life as brent knew changed for the whole family and him all he needed was love and he got more than that. Still an sweet story about love and family.

Brent was a widowed father of 2 kids, he married for money and not love, but surprisingly found himself caring for his wife regardless of being gay. Georgie is an incredible handful that even I might want to have given up for adoption, holy shit that child was CRAZY! Ricky was the perfect little boy that you just couldn't help but fall in love with. I do have to say for the first 1/4 of the book I hated Brent and thought he was a worthless father. And when he hired Nate all that changed. Nate was a wonderful manny and he truly brought out the best in Brent. And hearing Brent tell all his past and his stories you can't help but understand why he was the way he was. I laughed so much in this book it was wonderful, and I even got my much wanted H.E.A.
