I liked the dragon shifter aspect of this book. The reality is, in five days I won’t remember a thing about this.

Seriously, what's not to love about a cozy monster romance with an intriguing mystery thrown in. Yep once again Ms Ross had me hooked with book 3 which this time features a dragon shifter and his fated mate mate. I love how this books interconnect with previous books in the series and some of her other ones, the humour is on point, the mystery keeps you guessing until the end and the cuteness of the two leads is enough to make my romantic heart beat in happiness. This author is definitely my go to, for anything monster related and I can't wait to get to book 4.
When Hannah turns up at Monsters PI to report a haunting of the B&B she is trying to renovate, she finds herself drawn to the mysterious dragon detective in charge of her case. There's just one tiny problem, she's sworn off all men after a painful betrayal in her past. Reylor doesn't believe in ghosts, but he'll stop at nothing to find out who is behind the sabotage stopping Hannah from opening the B&B. Even if that means moving in with her to keep her safe. However, an even bigger task than trying to find the culprit, is trying to win her heart....
I simply adored Hannah, not only is she smart and funny she's fiercely independent as well. Yes she needs help with her case, but that doesn't mean she'll step back and let Reylor take over, she's made of stronger stuff than that. But it was her sheer determination not to let the setbacks of sabotage stop her from achieving her dream that made me love her, along with the way she slowly let her wall crumble around the dragon shifter who would do anything for her.
Reylor is just the epitome of Alpha cinnamon roll, sure he's all growly and protective, especially when it comes to his fated Hannah. But instead of doing everything for her, he supports her decisions and even encourages her to do things, which is something she desperately needs. I really couldn't help getting all swoony for this adorable dragon shifter who grabbed my heart in both of his claws, and I'm really looking forward to seeing him pop up again to find out more about him and Hannah in the future.
As I've said before I've enjoying this cozy little series and I can't help but love all the characters I've met so far. I'm equally excited to met the next couple in book 4, a stoic vampire (yes please) and a sunshine author along with a new adventure, yep count me in. So if you love a lot of cozy, mystery, humour and a dash of spice pick this up today. Totally recommend 😁

Hannah is awesome! She’s kind, understanding and compassionate. Even more, she’s so fierce, brave and hardworking. Hannah is not a woman who backs down from challenges and is ready to face any hardships thrown her way. And I also loved her curiosity! Hannah is a wonderful woman and I loved her so, so much!
Reylor is one of the investigators in Monsters, PI. He’s clever, resourceful and relentless in this pursuit of the truth. Even more, Reylor is very considerate and patient, protective and so, so charming. This fierce dragon shifter is one incredible and absolutely irresistible male and I adored everything about him!
I absolutely loved everything that happened between Hannah and Reylor! Hannah is in the process of restoring her newly purchased house and plans to turn it into a B&B. But she has a little ghost problem or someone is trying to sabotage her renovations. So, to solve the mystery she turns to Monsters, PI for help and is assigned a gorgeous dragon shifter investigator. And the moment Reylor sees Hannah, and discovers she’s his fated mate, he’s utterly smitten with the determined woman. I absolutely adored those two together! Their chemistry was fantastic right from the start and I loved reading all their banters and teasing. Even more, they made such an awesome team, trying to solve Hanna’s case. And, even though Hanna was taking a break from dating and relationships, she just couldn’t resist the dragon detective. And I adored Reylor for giving her all the time she needed. But fate cannot be denied, and when they finally gave into the undeniable need, the passionate moments they shared were so hot! Reylor and Hannah were truly perfect for each other and I couldn’t get enough of either of them!
In addition, the storyline was spectacular! With the many twists and turns while trying to discover who or what is causing Hannah problems, I was glued to the pages till the very end, excited to see how the mystery will be solved.
Overall, the story is another wonderfully cozy, fun, suspenseful, adventurous and naughty addition to the series!

The newest client Monsters, PI is taking on is Hannah who might (or might not) have a little problem with a ghost at the B&B she's renovating. It's also slightly possible it's not a ghost at all and someone is trying to drive her out of business before her business even gets off the ground. And that's why she now has a sexy dragon shifter shadowing her every move.
Now, Reylor doesn't believe in ghosts. So if ghosts aren't causing the mischief at the B&B, it has to be a person. A person who might escalate to more than just vandalism as time goes on. And that is NOT okay with Reylor. The vandalism isn't okay, either, but the thought Hannah might end up hurt (or worse) gets his dragony side all riled up. Not in a good way.
So now Hannah and Reylor are spending all sorts of time together. She's working on the B&B renovations and he's right by her side. On the downside, every time they think they have the culprit figured out, something new happens. There was A LOT Hannah was dealing with, tbh.
A little bodyguarding, more than a little vandalism, a ghost, a break in, a male who knows the lady he wants to show his hoard to when he meets her, and a lady who doesn't mind a hunky male helping around the house. In fact, she's more than willing to keep him around after the investigation ends. *thumbs up*

Someone has pulled up one of her gardens, thrown the plants around and other things have been damaged. It is also possible that she has a ghost problem.
She heads off to Monster PI to hire help. It comes in the form of sexy dragon shifter, Reylor, who realized immediately that Hannah is his true mate.
This book has a great little mystery, the interactions between the characters is great and there is affair amount of humour.
Reylor is so helpful, sweet, smart and protective. Hannah is determined to be independent and having just broken up with her fiancé after he cheated, she’s also not sure if she wants to get involved with Reylor, let alone be his fated mate.
This is an easy, quick, fun read.

Ghosts and saboteurs
I loved this monster-human cozy mystery romance. This heartwarming story was swoony and spicy with the just right amount of feelings and intrigue. I am loving this warm cozy and happy series. It is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Reylor is a dragon shifter who works at Monsters, PI. Hannah recently purchased Blakemore House and is renovating it to become a B&B. Unfortunately, her efforts are being thwarted by the resident ghost, Justin Blakemore, or a very human saboteur. When Hannah hires Monsters, PI to help her, Reylor is assigned to her case. He knows immediately that they are fated mates. To get their HEA and protect Hannah’s B&B, he will need to investigate all the suspects and help Hannah unpack her baggage. This well written story included engaging dialogue, three dimensional characters, and an engaging storyline. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

At Monsters,PI, three monsters have found love while on a job. This is Reylor and Hannah's story. Hannah is opening her dream B&B soon except something or someone is causing havoc. Sometimes it's a water leak, or cold draft of air, open door or windows that she had locked and sometimes more. Everything sets her back timewise and financially. So, she hired Monster, PI to solve the mystery.
Reylor is a dragon shifter ( my favorite) and takes on the case. As soon as he sees Hannah he knows she's his fated mate. I love his indecision when to propose to her, now, in ten minutes, an hour or tonight. At over 6 feet tall, he sure seems cuddly.
Ava put so much goodness in her books along with a bit of mystery, danger, plot twists that will surprise and romance. I love a satisfying HEA. Plus, we get just a tease for her next book.

What happens when Hannah purchases an old manor and is determined to renovate and turn it into a B&B but it appears to be haunted AND some sabotage is also going on? She hires a Monster PI of course. Because really, who destroys a flowerbed? With objects disappearing and reappearing in the house, vandals delaying her renovation and a collection of suspects, it will take all Reylor the dragon shifter PI to close this case. Along the way, he falls madly, deeply in love with Hannah who has some serious trust issues but Reylor will do anything to protect his little human and heal her broken heart. I truly enjoyed this romance and with every book Ava writes, I received an ARC and purchased my copy! Go get one for yourself!

Life’s too short, and so was my patience for this book.
I’m not sure if I was disappointed in the third installment in Monsters, PI, or just not in the mood for the predictability of this book. Hannah is new to town and just bought a house she is renovating into a B&B, but someone is trying to sabotage her. She hires Reylor to help solve the mystery.
I found myself losing interest about ⅓ of the way through. I skipped around a bit, got the gist of the story, and didn’t feel like I missed anything. My favorite part might have been near the end when we are introduced to the cast of characters who will be the focus of book four.
I’ll pick up the next one, hesitantly, and hope that I enjoy it more like I did the first two in this series.

Well this story certainly kept me on my toes. Wow!
The monster PI's definitely have their work cut out with this case.
Was I drawn in from the very beginning? without a doubt. Being a super sleuth and helping solve this case proved more of a challenge than anticipated.
The mystery and suspense surrounding this house is eerie to say the least.
Reylor and Hannah are such an admirable couple, their intense attraction for one another flows off the pages.
Ava did an amazing job writing this story and leaving us with maybe a few unanswered questions that we ourselves can interpret.

I love these Monster PI cozy mysteries by Ava Ross! Hannah has a little bit of a ghost problem at her B&B that she is renovating...or is there someone alive sabotaging her? Enter Reylor, a Dragon Shifter Detective who happens to be her fated mate. This cozy mystery is so much fun, with plenty of heat, wonderful characters and a mystery to solve. An Ava Ross book guarantees that your reading time is well spent! You get well thought out characters who are so real I wish they lived next door an you get storylines that keep you glued to the page. 5 stars

I knew I would enjoy the MMC (male main character), especially when he questioned whether he should propose immediately or wait about ten minutes upon meeting his fated mate. When he declared her as his, I couldn't help but swoon. He was so sweet and charming that I had no doubt the FMC (female main character), his mate, would fall for his charms. However, before they could pursue their romance, they needed to find the culprit.
I enjoyed reading the book; I had my suspicions about the mystery, and as it turned out, I was right.

The great part about this story is you'll never guess who is the "bad guy" until you get to the end. I would happily read 100s of books in this series, though I don't think the author has that many planned, unfortunately. I thought Reylor was exactly what independent Hannah needed to round out her life. He's a supporter instead of a do-it-for-her. I can't with to see what happens with the very proper vampire in the next book!

Dragon Detective by Ava Ross is the third installment in the Monsters, PI series. This is a cozy mystery, with elements of suspense, combined with a monster fated mate romance and a very HEA. This entire series is wonderful, and this might be my favorite yet. The characters are sweet and likable and the story telling and world building are immersive. You get romance, adventure, fantasy, suspense, mystery and steam all in one sweet, well told story!

Ava Ross’ Cozy Monster Romance series is delightful! Dragon Detective is the third book and features Reylor who is hired to help investigate mysterious doings at Hannah’s soon to open B&B. She suspects a ghost at first, but over the next month she and Reylor discover various human beings sabotaging her efforts. Of course, in the mean time she and Reylor are discovering that they are fated mates and having a rollicking good time!

This was another fun and cozy mystery for the series and I loved Hannah and Reylor together. There were so many twists, I was glued to my reader to see how things would unfold. Of course, we have a wee bit of humour to go with the mystery, suspense, danger and steam. Expect to get caught up with this entertaining adventure romance as Reylor helps Hannah and they both get their HEA. Good fun!

Loved this! Hannah was such an amazing character. She was independent, hardworking, resourceful, and cheerful. And, Reylor, wow, he was the whole package. How could one resist a considerate, caring, protective, and helpful dragonshifter....I know I couldn't. And, the story was just full of coziness, delightful scenes, suspense, mystery, romance, and spice. It's definitely one I enjoyed and recommend.

This couple was so cute together! I love how open Reylor was with his intentions and declaring what he wanted. Even though Hannah is extremely capable, it was great seeing her learn to trust and lean on someone.

A B&B for a Dragon
It starts with a cute meet when he knows she's his fated mate. What could go wrong? She fell for him while they solved the mystery of who was trying to destroy her renovations on the property. Such a cute romantic story infused with several suspects AND a ghost! They solved the mystery and got their HEA.

What fun...
I enjoyed the twist and turns of the ghost . All of the real people conspiring to get rid of the B&B. It was fun and sexy. Poor reklor did not get a chance to be violent, and I wanted some violence.
It's enjoyable to read about the others and their books in each individual book.
I can't wait to read about Wolfram.

Dragon Detective
This was a great story with Mystery of the Who throughout the story and storyline. I loved this story. The characters were great and whoever love a mystery and a little Romance got a great read. I would recommend that this story be read by all.

Dragon Detective is the third book in the Monster P.I. Series. I'm enjoying this wonderful mystery series and each book outshines the last. If you are a fan of Dragons and HEA, I highly recommend this cozy sweet mystery with its twists and turns, and steamy fated mates romance.

A chef trying to open a B&B in Mystic Harbor needs a PI to find out who is trying to sabotage her renovations. With a touch of humor, multiple suspects and instalove created by the "fated mate" bond, the story was an enjoyable read that I couldn't put down.
