Veni. Vidi. Slimum.-- Korius Saensar (the teacher!)

A very different feel to this volume, as we get to see our 3-E (low track) kids engaging in some real action and use some of their assassination skills against some--admittedly silly--bad guys, though one guy likes to dip his gun into food and eat it. (I don't explain 'em, I just tell 'em like I see 'em. Just the facts, m'a'am). A cross-dressing Nagisa is featured in this volume. He's emerging as an interesting character. If you like action, this one is ramped up. I like the character volumes a bit more.

Man, what a great teacher, and what great students too. They're all awesome.

Also, Takaoka is crazy, with a capital C.

Class E takes the fight back to the mysterious mastermind who poisoned their classmates. It turns out that he's someone they all know, but can they stop him before he destroys the antidote they need? Koro Sensei mostly sits this one out, having just barely survived the latest assassination attempt by his students. As always, this series strikes just the right tone between utterly ridiculous and grimly serious.

The only reason I'm giving it one less star than the rest of them is because some of the artwork for the villains made me nauseous. Still a very good edition to the story!

Class E-3’s tropical vacation continues to be a nightmare as they now must get through a heavily guarded hotel to get up to the final tower where the mastermind of their troubles is. They will use all their assassin knowledge to get past every thug and even go up against a sadistic man with a weird fixation of tasting his gun. When they finally see who the mastermind is, it’s a very shocking reveal and will culminate into something more fatal for them all. A (100%/Outstanding)

Content warnings: violence, gun violence, illness

This volume was perhaps higher stakes than the rest of them to date, if only because a lot of the kids are in legitimate danger here. I am definitely going to have to pick up volume 9 sooner rather than later because these damn books always end on a freaking cliffhanger.

I wasn't altogether sold on a whole volume with a small bunch of the students fighting and sneaking their way up a criminal hotel, with Koro Sensei himself spending the entire time in ultimate defence mode (which is to say, basically as a bowling ball, unable to do more than offer counsel). But little touches like the parodic elite killers the kids face (especially the obsessive gun-taster) make it work, and there's a fabulously loathable final boss behind the bioweapon attack. In amongst the familiar exhortations - it's not failure that matters, but how you respond to it! - one chapter is devoted to an advisory against spliffs so sincere that no Western comic would have dared publish it in the last thirty years. Also, apparently walking by moving the arm and leg on the same side at the same time is a useful technique for assassins, so that's reefer madness plus ninja Madness.

I have just sat and read this book in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down. It was so action packed and I just loved the character development really highlighted in this part.

I love the art style from Yusei Matsu but I also love these little humour breaks between chapters or references breaking the 4th wall in the chapters. I really feel like this works well together, especially in a part that was so action heavy.

Also I cannot believe that Takaoka was the one behind this, honestly when he cropped back up, my face was in disgust for him as a character. I think it’s really clever that the way this manga has gone has evoked that reaction in me.

I can’t wait to read the next volume!

Personally, I feel like it says a lot that the only really evil person I feel we've encountered in this series so far is supposed to be working to kill Kuro Sensei... I genuinely hate he who shall not be named for the sake of not spoiling the plot, and I hope Nagisa makes him pay. Though, perhaps this series is making me feel a bit more murderous than I used to be, but still he's literally evil and that's compared to a bio engineered octopus that wants to destroy the world.

I've read up to volume;
#12; with an average rating of: ★★★★☆ 4.1/5

Island arc was fire! The ending was a bit off but everything else? Iconic
but then the next volumes took a weird turn into a bit of filler-y stuff.
It all picked up sky high with the grim reaper stuff. Things are heating up and we are aiming for the finale later on

I loved Karma’s lil fight scene, he finally got his time to shine. Also, goddammit I’m really starting to like Terasaka now that he’s not such an asshole.

A high-stakes volume, this one takes place entirely outside the classroom as our favourite class tries to solve a mystery and leave with their lives! The series is pretty consistent, if each volume wasn't such a quick and easy read, I would have probably given up by now but I'm getting enough from them to continue to see this to the end.

I'm honestly surprised this series has continued to have intriguing storylines. The original premise has developed so well that I can't wait to read the next one. Luckily my wife's a librarian so I have all issues through volume 12!

In this installment the pace is picking up again, lots of action and drama, but I missed our monster-teacher, who was a bit in the background due to... circumstances. Haha.
Good series, I really enjoy it.

Damn, that was a bit of a cliffhanger. I honestly am not sure how they're gonna get out of this one. I have really been enjoying this arc of the story, and seeing multiple students and teachers skills put to use.

Hasta ahora el más flojo. Es verdad que la acción ocurre en menos de una hora pero se hace lento, pesado. Y ¿qué pasa con el chico que lame su revólver? 😂
