I am an ARC reader and this is my honest opinion. This was my third visit to Erin's Glen and it was a delight to meet up again with the characters who live in this small town tucked away in a corner of rural Ireland. I feel as though the place and the regulars are familiar. There are some new characters introduced in each book. I love the way the author writes what is essentially a murder mystery in such a way that in spite of the horrifying goings on I feel that I could walk into the cafe, Mrs Blaney's B & B, Rosie's cottage or office and the ever present kettle would be on ready for yet another cup of tea. This time, a group from a German school staying at the B & B is among those under suspicion when a body turns up on the mysterious mountain that looks down on the town. This is just the begining . Rosie, Parish Secretary and amateur sleuth with a photographic memory, almost becomes a victim herself, but her faithful spaniel, Ziggy is a hero. The murders and mysteries solved, I expect everyone to be making another cup of tea until the next crisis comes along. I will certainly be looking forward to it.

Rosie O Malley has her toughest case yet in this Addictive Irish Cozy Mystery by A.P.Ryan . In Erin’s Glen again where a group of visiting German students are stumbling onto dead bodies? Rosie O’ Reilly secretary of the parish is sleuth extraordinaire and she takes it upon herself to uncover the truth because that she does care about.Ziggy her faithful pooch is back well he would be he’s a great sleuth too sniffing out the clues. Sister Mary Jo parish secretary and regular sleuth partner then of course the hostess with the mostest the owner of the B&B who is as nosy as can be. In fact a host of familiar characters are what puts Erin’s Glen books on the map. Well on the bookshelves . Because there’s always mystery to be solved. There’s bodies piling up on the mountains and what of the mysterious lights and the German students that disappear in the night. Very well written and the angst ? Oo ee! Great storytelling it’s uber compelling and interesting too . This series is awesome and A.P. Ryan’s writing is super .

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is Book 3 in the series and it is up to the usual high standard of A P Ryan’s books. This time, Rosie and Sister Mary Jo have a double murder to solve, and Rosie has a close shave. Much of the action takes place at Mrs Blaney’s guest house, where a visiting group of German students and their teachers are staying for the summer. The setting for the murders is Mount Cairn, where mysterious lights, unusual sounds and animals acting strangely have been noted. Could these deaths be due to mystical, paranormal, supernatural or alien manifestations, or is there a more rational reason? Thanks to Ziggy, with a bit of help from Rosie and Sister Mary Jo, the mystery is solved. After three books, I feel at home in Erin’s Glen, surrounded by familiar characters and enjoying another of A P Ryan’s well-woven mysteries.

This third book is a fun page turner with so many twists and turns that keep you guessing. We have our regular characters in this series, Parish secretary, Rosie, along with Sister Mary Jo, her sleuthing side kick and of course, Ziggy Rosie's intuitive dog. Then of course there is Mrs Blaney, the owner of the B&B hosting German students for the summer and lover of all things gossip. In this book, Rosie, Sister Mary Jo and Ziggy are tasked with solving not one, but two murders. What fun it is to follow the clues along with our sleuths. But, they have to solve the murders before someone else is murdered and they have to keep themselves out of danger. I highly recommend this most entertaining and enjoyable addition to a really good series. I received an ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

Murder on Mount Caira is Book 3 in the Erin's Glen Mystery Series by A P Ryan. Ireland, 1991, finds B & B owner, Mrs Blaney, hosting a group of German teachers and students for a week. Mountains can hold secrets and the local mountain is where the Germans found a second dead body! I think this Irish setting is perfect for a mystery. The characters in this series are fantastic. I love that it is a Parish secretary, Rosie, along with Sister Mary Jo, who are the sleuthing team tasked with solving the crime. I think each of the books in the series are so well written and they have characters who are fun to read about. You can't go wrong giving this book and series a try. I received an arc for free and am leaving my review voluntarily.

Murder on Mount Cairn is a delightful cozy mystery and part of what is quickly becoming one of my favorite mystery series. The characters are realistic and engaging, the setting is evocative, and almost becomes a character unto itself. There is plenty of investigative action, unexpected revelations, and the wonderful feelings of a small town where everyone knows everyone else's business and most of the time they care about the other residents of their village. Reading this series almost makes me wish I lived in a small Irish village.

I highly recommend these books and look forward to the next edition. I received a review copy from the author via BookSirens and this review reflects m honest opinion.

Another great mystery in the series !
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It's like old home week visiting with the colourful residents of Erin's Glen ~ getting to know some better as well which leads the reader to greater purchase as a resident observer in the village. Local folklore is at the forefront of the mysterious 'goings on' as well as shrouding the murders in an extra layer of enigma. Sometimes the chapters end with a tidbit that the reader is not privy to until later which adds to the suspense. Chapter 31 is especially fascinating and enlightening! Threads all bundled together the mystery ends beautifully! Looking forward to more tales of Erin's Glen!

Erin's Glen has been discovered by tourists and the first coachload descended upon Mrs. Blaney's B&B, to her utter delight. But it doesn't take long before the long dark shadow of Mount Cairn stretches over them and strange lights and weird sounds herald bad omens and death follows.... Or is that just a wicked killer hiding behind convenient local superstitions?

Another interesting visit to Erin's Glen; I do like the many strands that appear to contribute to the mystery, some totally relevant, some not so much, just as you would find in real life. Fun read, solid plot.
