I've become passionate about understanding the philosophies that embody classical Japanese culture. This is the first book that I have come across that discusses, in depth, of the philosophy of Ichigo ichie.

I have developed the practices of ikigai and hansei to my daily life. But I know there is so much more out there that helps build on these concepts.

I feel that the book is well written by Saito San. He not only introduces how to employ the strategy into your daily life, he gives you activities to actually practice this. Specifically he talks about mindfully thinking about the topic whether through meditation or visuality as well as provides you some basic "homework" to try the topic immediately.

Written in a way that I truly enjoy, he doesn't give you step by step instructions required to follow to learn the way. He guides you on the way and allows the reader to engage his mind on how best to implement in their own lives.

All in all a pretty good book that I highlighted a lot of passages in.
