“That’s it, Zachary. Let me take control of your body.”
Zachary At no point in my wildest dreams had I ever imagined a ghost would be instrumental in my sex life. It certainly wasn’t my wildest dream to move into a fraternity even if I was sharing a room with my lifelong best friend. I’d finally admitted it to myself – I was in love with Teo and had been for years. Maybe this semester I would finally be honest with my new brothers, my parents…and with Teo.
Mateo I should’ve just told Zach the first time the ghost explored me. He was the one person I talked to about everything. But then came the thongs, lace panties, and jockstraps, and I got caught up exploring myself…with a little supernatural assistance It hadn’t surprised me that what I needed was right in front of my face the whole time. But would it be a surprise to Zach?
Gird your loins and prepare yourself for the boys of ΚΩΚ. Greek life has returned to campus and this semester they'll be living it up in a brand new house and learning more about their own sexuality than anything else. Teo and Zach will have to manage misplaced clothes, paranormal seductions, ghost-assisted disrobings, and huge loads...of coursework. Their majors might be undecided, but they know who's going to top. Frat Ghost Wingman is part of the Haunted Hearts Series, but each work can be read as a standalone.

Finn Dixon made a childhood dream come true and has worked in the zoological field since 2006. He’s taken care of everything from alligators to zebras, but his favorites will always be rhinos. Thus far, his MM romances have focused on contemporary stories that include jocks (and jockstraps), but fantasy, paranormal, and historical have been observed in the crystal ball of Finn’s future.
In his spare time, he likes watching gay films and shows with happy endings (giggity), playing Disney Dreamlight Valley, re-watching Jurassic Park and Clue, and traveling when he can afford it.
And yes, he likes jocks, but he promises all his books won’t be about them.
Or will they?

Frat Ghost Wingman is the fourth book in the Haunted Hearts series.
Teo and Zach have been friends since childhood. As a teenager, Zach fell in love with Teo, but didn't tell him.
At the time the novel is set, they are in college, have been accepted into the same frat and are sharing a room . Gradually, Teo realizes that he has feelings for him. Jake, the resident ghost of the frat house decides to help them in a very interesting way.
It's a super fun and steamy read, I ended up loving the guys in the frat house, all with their little love problems in the background.
This a clueless BFFs love story involves two guys who need some assistance from an unlikely source to finally get their HEA. I need all the love stories of all the side characters immediately.
You know, I wouldn’t put a ghost wingman in the column of implausible/impossible shit in 2024. Just add it somewhere on your bingo card and I’m sure it’ll happen.
I say that to remind everyone that (yet again) the Finn Dixon Realness I have loved since the first book I devoured in his lineup is all up in here, and I’m living for it as usual. The characters, dialogue, and all of the non-PN parts—though those are probably close to how it would be to be homies with a ghost bud, let’s be so for real—are all perfect matches to how they would be in reality. This is what I come here for literally every time.
And Teo and Zach? They made my heart happy. I don’t know how every book makes me want to declare the MCs my favs, but it’s where I always wind up. They just… they had the best energy.
Also, can we get some applause for Jake? And the rest of the frat bros?? I want a book where Jake gets himself a (ghosty) man, and I want everyone else’s stories. Just vibe with me and imagine the posserbilleries, okay?! Now, let’s all whine (loudly) at the same time, or maybe barter for our mighty need for more of this world by mentioning the equivalent exchange price of breaking all of our collective hearts at the same time by saying no. The adorable ending only covers like…46%-ish(?!) of the bill. It’s a big one. So.
5/5. I loved every part of this. It was silly and sweet and super (accurately) steamy and several other s’s. The bonus of hot jocks in hot jockstraps is always added for the razzle-dazzle, naturally. I’m consistently drawn into the romanticized reality of Finn’s stories, and I wind up reading them a couple of times in quick succession because life needs more HEA and less “everything is trauma”. It’s always a good time.
**[I received an ARC from the author. All ratings, reviews, and opinions are my own.]**
Absolutely fabulous book. I could barely put it down and read it in a day because the story and writing were so good! I love Teo and Zach! I sure hope that in the future we get to read about some of the other side characters!! And I wouldn’t be sad with a Jake the ghost origin story either!
Frat Ghost Wingman is a delightful romp through college romance, featuring a ghost frat boys, and enough laughs to keep you hooked from start to finish. This novella follows two childhood besties, Zach & Teo, who become frat roommates. Zach has been pining for Teo forever. Luckily, Jake the ghost is there to give them a *ahem* helping hand. Jake the ghost's commentary had me in stitches, and he’s the perfect stand-in for all of us watching these two idiots fall for each other. The Kappa Omega Kappa (KOK) rainbow frat is a blast. I loved the twins with their ridiculous, matchy names and Evan working through his own journey. And while I was absolutely gutted there was no action in the only one bed scenario, the spice, complete with a ghost in the mix, made up for it! If you’re after a quick, spooky, and sweet Halloween read, Frat Ghost Wingman is perfect. I can’t wait for more stories with the KOK boys!

Adorable & Sexy Ghostly Spin on Best Friends to Lovers
I’m not ashamed to say I was unsure and that I was wrong. I shall grovel and never question Finn Dixon again.
This was an adorable, sexy, hilarious college best friends to lovers romance with a little ghostly bro-spirit thrown in for a LOL helping hand.
Loved every character in this book and that’s a huge sign that it’s a five star for me… every frat brother, soccer husband Evan, even the parents were 10/10. If there isn’t a book for at least Evan and Malik I’ll riot. And their futures were hinted at so I’m hopeful.
This was clever, sweet, perfectly spicy, with witty banter, a handsy ghost on a mission, and a frat full of jocks. What more could you want?
I was afraid this was going to super angsty but it was very much not and I loved it. The best friends to lovers was very well done (with a little ghost help.) The side characters are great in this as well. My only two complaints is 1. I could of read a lot more about Zach and Teo. They were great, 2. Could easily ready a book about the other frat bros in this (esp. the twins). This is a great feel good low angst October read.
Such a fun and fantastic read. The steam was story appropriate and had its own level of fun and wow! The characters are just all around special and sweet. I really enjoyed how well all the characters communicated with each other. Their discoveries of each other and coming "out" was delightful!
Reading the title made me so curious and it was truly a fun character to get to know!
This book is SOOOO good. It’s spicy, funny, and full of supportive, ridiculous and wonderful characters. Zach and Teo are the definition of best friends to lovers thanks to the intervention of Jake the ghost. Their relationship is fun, hot, and meaningful. I want more!! I hope we’re going to get stories for Evan, Aiden and Jayden, and Malik and Liam.
Paranormal isn't usually in my reading repertoire but if Finn writes it, I know it'll be amazing! This book is everything that I come to expect and hope for in any of Finn's books: real and sassy and spicy with plenty of humor and heat and light on angst. This book features Zach and Teo who are friends and with the help of a horned up ghost (Jake) take the plunge into becoming more. I loved everything about this book and am already begging for more from these frat boys and Jake!
Silly and OTT besties/roommates to lovers with a horny ghost pulling the strings. I wanted the ghost to be a bigger part of the story but he basically disappears once Teo and Zach get together until the end where his role is wrapped up way too quickly imo.
It was fun though and had some insanely unhinged lines:
Fully hard, I was pumping my hand furiously. I was so close to liquidating my inventory.
“Well, I certainly didn’t expect you to eat a cup of noodles off my ass,” I said.
“If I shoved a crab rangoon up my ass would that change your mind?”
“Are you wearing a light-up buttplug?”
“I’m your little cupcake and I wanted your cream filling. Ugh, after saying it out loud, I’m glad I didn’t say it earlier.”
I really enjoyed this book and as a new to me author I did not know what I was getting when I picked up this book. What I got was a great fun read that I could not put down. Zach and Matteo (Teo) had been friends forever and whilst Zach knew he was gay and had a major crush on his friend, Teo too all was straight, but what they both needed and got was a little encouragement from a friendly ghost Jake. This book kept me reading until I got to the end. Thank god it was the weekend as I am sure a ring in sick would of been on the cards if it was a week day. Both characters were nice guys, good friends to each other and to the rest of the frat guys in ΚΩΚ. Greek. Their relationship wasn't rushed, but when they finally got together wow, fireworks were constantly going off. The secondary characters were so enjoyable I am hoping that I get to read their stories as there is so much to unpack in the lives of ΚΩΚ. Greek house and I do not care which brother/s' story is told first as I will be at the head of the queue. I started of saying that this was the first time I have read a book from this author, but it will definitely not be the last
In case the beef cake cover wasn't a tip off, Dixon's cheeky HH tale is a horny one, full of perhaps weirdly easygoing jocks finding new games to play off the field, with a friendly, frisky ghost playing coach. That should tell you whether it's your cup of tea or not, but the book does exactly what it sets out to do, keeping things low angst and erotic as hell.
I don't read a lot of paranormal and I have certainly never read any ghost stories. I wasn't sure what to expect from it but I love Finn's writing and this was really good. I actually liked the concept of the storyline that a ghost helps two best friends realise that they are in love with each other. Zach and Mateo have been friends for years and are literally joined by the hip. Zach is gay and has been in love with straight Mateo for years. When they are both visited by a ghost it pushes them together. Mateo has never really felt a connection with anyone but once he starts exploring with Zach, it all makes sense for him. As per Finn's usual work, it is full of banter, friendship and steam.
This was definitely not an expected story but it was written in true Finn fashion! I mean, who else would need a little push from a frat ghost then Mr. Dixon, and of course Zachary and Mateo.
These two were amazing together (and apart, which wasn’t often), especially with their tiptoeing. Poor Zach harbored those feelings for so long and for what exactly?? Their chemistry was off the charts, along with their compatibility. And their frat brothers were very accepting, along with their parents, which makes their relationship that much stronger. Although, I didn’t think they would ever seal the deal (thanks Finn) but boy was it explosive 🧨
Honestly was not sure after the first bit if I was going to like this book, but wow I just devoured it. Love the characters and the ghost was just the icing on the cupcake. I want / need more from the other guys now in the story …. Give us sequels !!!
This is a best friends to more romance, featuring Zachary and Mateo, and is part of a multi author series called Haunted Hearts. This is a reread for me and I absolutely loved it all over again!
Zach and Teo have been friends since they were young. Zach has had feelings for Teo ever since he realised he was gay but had kept those feelings on lock down until a meddling ghost named Jake tries to play match maker.
The title alone had me jumping in to this book, it’s a funny, low angst read with lots of banter, showers, frat bros, a meddling ghost and friendship and a bit of spice. This is a great Halloween book to jump in and read.
Things to expect in this book are: Standalone book 5 Multi author series MM paranormal romance College boys Best friends to more Jock x Nerd Frat roommates MC in lingerie Jockstraps Handsy meddling ghost Gay awakening Calls him cupcake Dates Coming out Spicy times Library s*x Car s*x S*x toys Noodles - food play Supportive friends & families HEA
A really different type of book to the others I've read in this series so far - but that was to be expected from this author. It's very interesting to see so many variations in ghosts. Full of Finn's usual high heat and graphic descriptions of various types of underwear :) . I would have liked more details of Jake the ghost as his role was mostly to help Teo and Zach find each other. There is plenty of material here to hopefully write sequels.
this was fun. i love a friends to lovers BUT. it got a bit tiring after a while, it could have ended so much earlier than it did.
i still enjoyed it and seeing all the relationships in the frat house. also the plotline about A GHOST being a fucking matchmaker? i LOVED IT. ( even though jake was a bit invasive at times?)
Finn Dixon has fast become one of my fave authors. I know when I read one of his books, I am going to be highly entertained with a sweet and spicy book. Frat Ghost Wingman is all that and more!
This is the 4th book in an Own Voices series of spooky tales called Haunted Hearts and each one is very different. Zach, a manga-loving nerd & yoga enthusiast, and Teo, a top soccer player at the uni, are childhood BFFs who recently started rooming together at KOK, the frat house where Teo is also an officer. Unbeknownst to them, they have a 3rd roomie - Jake the ghost, who lends a helping hand and then some in getting Teo not only to realize he is gay but also a bottom AND also in making these boys see that they are crazy for each other. And wow - there are so many spicy shenanigans! It's best to have some ice water on hand because boy oh boy, it gets hot in there!
On top of all the steam, there is banter and I laughed SO HARD!!! This book was tough to put down once I had started - definitely very potato chippy because I kept telling myself....just one more chapter, then I'll go to sleep....yeah, until around 2:23am when I finished the book, haha. It was worth the lack of sleep, though! I loved the supportive friend group - I want to read more about some of the side characters and hope Finn will write about the twins, Evan, Liam, Malik, and a couple of others. These boys all need an HEA too (and I hope one of them is MMM, lol). I love this book a lot - I already featured a couple of epic scenes over in some Instagram posts, but I'm pretty sure I'll be featuring more, since I love to revisit Zach and Teo!
What to Expect:
* nerd + jock MCs * frat house shenanigans * handsy ghostie who is an excellent wingman * found family/friend group * butt plugs that light up * lingerie * lots of showers * some of the most sweet/supportive frat buddies * coming out * gay awakening * first times * banter * NOODLES (#ifkyk)
Thanks to the author for this ARC - I am leaving this review voluntarily
When I read the blurb I was intrigued by the idea of a ghost getting these two men together. I thought that would be such a cool idea, and as I also love the friends to lovers trope, I thought this story was going to blow my mind. Unfortunately, that's not what happened.
When I read a romance book I want a good background, I want chemistry between the characters, and I want the characters to actually have a relationship that builds overtime that's more than just steam. I just didn't get that here, and for me, that's what I didn't enjoy. There was too much focus on the steamy times and not enough romance building outside of those steamy scenes.
Despite the fact I didn't enjoy it, that doesn't mean that others won't. I still implore to whomever might be reading this that you still give it a chance yourself. I know I'm a bit of an anomaly when it comes to not liking a ton of steam in my romance books, so if you enjoy high heat, and high steam then you'll enjoy this. I think this book has a lot for someone to love, there is banter that occurs between the MC's, and there is a match-making ghost who enjoys bringing people pleasure in different ways.
I liked the ghostly character, that brought a unique aspect to the story. I'm glad that Teo stood up for himself and Zachary when their other frat brothers were being rude, I thought that was a nice thing for him to do for both of them.
2.25⭐️ Mateo is a soccer playing jock living in a frat house, and is excited that his best friend Zach will be joining him as his roommate this year. Zach has been in love with Teo forever, but never said a word. Individually they aren’t brave enough to tell each other about their growing feelings for each other, but with the interference from a strange frat ghost, things heat up.
This book has: -college roommate romance -a little MMM if you count the ghost as part of their dynamic, but essentially is MM -dub con with the ghost -friends to lovers
I feel so bad for not liking this book, because I know a lot of people really enjoyed it! So take what I’m saying with a grain of salt. I hope other people like it way more than me! It IS a fun concept. A gay ghost trying to get you and your best friend together? Fun!
However, the writing quality in general just didn’t seem great to me. The events and descriptions are so straightforward but also seem to jump around a bit. If you asked me to describe the characters’ personalities, I couldn’t, because none of them really have one that develops. And the ghost?? It basically assaults the guys (they end up liking it, but it did feel weird). Finally, I simply found some of the writing cringe. Prime example—The ghost says the words “nut nectar”??!! JAIL! 😂😂😂
I feel like this concept has a lot of potential, but I didn’t vibe with the execution. I hope you enjoy it more than me!!
It was kinda like porn but in book form - the MC's were constantly getting hard, in some places where a normal book wouldn't do it so brazenly, the plot was 99% about them getting together (cause they were in love but bed was the destination), there was, as the book put it, appropriate homoerotic elements to replace the stereotypical homophobia of frat life and other brothers that also got naked, with each other, yes - yet it somehow also failed to really drive that point home. A few things were set-up that didn't pay off, the sex was... very present but also managed a slow-burn and had some baffling fade to black (kinda) moments, the kink was unexpected and/or performative, the ghost managed to be both more and less important in setting them up... It could have gone either way for me with book of this type but all these little things I didn't completely like meant it's getting three stars. I am gonna check out the other books cause I don't think I found what I was looking for (unlike the rest of the people here, it seems) so if the other books are from other authors, maybe it'll help. I can totally see why people like it but it's not my cup of tea, I'd say.
Frat Ghost Wingman is part of the Haunted Hearts Series, I have not read the other books in this series and features best friends Teo and Zach who have always been friends, who are now attending and belong to the same fraternity as their fathers did before them. Zach has always had feeling for Teo but has never told him and has actually never even told anyone he is gay. Teo has never really been one to have random hookups or strong feeling for anyone and has never told Zach this. When they settle into their new dorm room, they discover they have a friendly, and yes, a VERY friendly at times third roommate, our resident ghost, Jake. Jake, helping the guys out separately and then together has a mission to accomplish. This book was a wild ride and If you are a fan of Finn Dixon you will absolutely love this book, for it fits his writing to perfection! I adored the frat house guys and DEFINITELY want more from those guys!!!!
Finn Dixon is a new to me author, so I had no idea what to expect from this book. The premise drew me in though, so I had to give it a read.
Zach and Teo have been best friends their entire lives. So when campus frats are reinstated in their second year of college, it’s only logical that they’ll share a room. It doesn’t take long for ghostly shenanigans to start happening in the most unexpected way. I have to say that to me it was devious and hilarious the way the ghost went about his shenanigans.
The ghostly helping hand puts Zach and Teo’s relationship on a different trajectory, and I was there for it. I’ll also say that I’m a complete sucker for non-stereotypical characters, the steam was perfect for me in that respect.
If you enjoy lite stories with the nerd/jock trope with a touch of the paranormal in the form of a frat ghost, then you should give Zach and Teo’s story a read.
Frat Ghost Wingman is a fun, somewhat silly, paranormal, friends-to-lovers new adult romance, with a ghost interfering in the relationship of a couple of college roommates and lifelong best friends.
Similar vibes to Finn Dixon's other college romances, but with the silliness of a ghost invested in his living housemates sex lives.
I would have liked to have seen some resolution for the ghost character, Jake.
And while Mateo is coded as demisexual, he identifies in the book as gay-for-you, which I found a bit frustrating.
In this, you'll find: ✨️MM Paranormal Romance ✨️New adult, college setting ✨️Lifelong best friends, now roommates ✨️Ghost of a college student ✨️Jock Frat House ✨️Closeted college athletes ✨️Demisexual-coded MC identifying as gay-for-you ✨️Coming out ✨️A HEA for the humans
I hadn't read any of this author before but certainly will now. I love the imagination of having a ghost interfering with Teo's (Mateo) love life. While Zach has alway seemed to have loved Teo, Teo thought he was straight. So when they move into the new campus dorm house/mansion, Teo is intrigued that he keeps hearing a voice and his underwear is changed to thongs. He decides to explore all these new feels and spooks Zach. From here on we wonder if Zach will accept all the mindblowing changes in his best friend Teo? If Teo will continue accepting his changes too and share with those he loves and lives with ? Or will Zach be the one who baulks at accepting Teo. Or will the ghost win out. Lots warmth, smexy times and love in this wonderful story
Zachary and Mateo have been best friends their whole lives and have moved into a frat together and sharing a room. Zach has been in love with Teo for years but still hasn’t even told him he’s gay.
Turns out that they have an unlikely third sharing their room - a ghost named Jake who is basically a matchmaker and getting them super horned up for each other.
This story was so hilarious and a fun and easy read. Their banter was really great, their long friendship making them super close, and lots of interesting side characters that I really want to know more about!!
