He was tall, dark, handsome – and the only thing standing between Sabrina Glade and the truth. Spencer Bradley claimed he had no reason to stop her ghostwritten autobiography of his reclusive – and recently deceased – uncle. But his eyes revealed a darker message, kindling in Sabrina a feeling far more dangerous than fear.
Spencer was always watchful, unusually silent, and conveniently close by, and his entreaties for her to leave sent suspicion coursing through Sabrina’s blood. Dare she trust her instincts and attempt to uncover his secrets? Or would her investigation confirm that the stunning desire she felt was for a cold-blooded killer…?
This book started out really good, I couldn't put it down (until I misplaced it for a couple months...)! But then I was halfway through it and the plot just started to repeat itself over and over. So here's my summary of this story: Sabrina: I can't stay here, but I must finish this book! Spencer: Get out. Sabrina: You're probably a murderer and it's too dangerous to stay here. But I must finish this book! Spencer: Let's have sex, then get out. Sabrina: Ok! *Two pages later Sabrina: You're dangerous again, I should leave. But I must finish this book!! Aaaaand, that's pretty much it. The ending had a plot twist that I didn't see coming (but then again I was mentally checked out, so I wasn't looking into details too much). As to who the murder actually was, I could see that a mile away. This wasn't a horrible story by any means, it just was a little boring.
