GG Lourie is a native of New Jersey. She is originally from Rockaway Borough and raised her family in Mount Olive Township. Although she and her husband love the rustic beauty of the north, they have recently followed their hearts to the Jersey Shore. On the coast, where the air carries the scent of the sea and the rhythm of the waves soothes the soul, GG has found the ideal place to create her characters, imagine their story and determine their destiny. Waiting for Summer, A Jersey Shore Romance, is her debut novel. Other projects in progress are also based in her beloved Garden State. Congratulations! Beautifully written novel. Fell in love with the characters. Couldn't wait to get back to this book. A wonderful summer read that will now sit in my sunroom at the Jersey Shore for others to delight in its contents. Looking forward to G. G. Lourie's new novel coming out at Christmastime. I highly recommend this heartwarming novel to everyone and anyone who enjoys the warmth of summertime!

Just read this wonderful story of life long love that had its ups and downs. G.G. Lourie wrote this story that entrapped me to the end. Mick and Tanya grew up on the New Jersey boardwalk. He was six years older than her. Their love was not without the bumps of life. The way the story was told drew me into the pages. I felt like I was the fly on the wall with them. I don't give many 5 star ratings but this deserves it. Can't wait for more from G.G. Lourie.

A good book that is definitely a favorite. I can see this being one of those books I will read more than once. I will admit there were parts of the book that was a little slow for me and was a little hard to get through. They were rreally only short parts. It was a good read and definitely will keep an eye out for more from this author in the future.

Good summer read.

I had started the book several months ago but would get only get so far and would quit. Took me couple of tries to read long enough to get interested. For a girl gets guy kind of book it was a little long but I kept at it. It was a good story just a little long. I will probably read more from this author though.

Waiting for an steamy romp through summer.

Caution: Sexual content and language. A passionate love story that grew and carried them from the sweetness of childhood, the ups and down teen years, into their ever dramatic adulthood.
