Brewer Family #2

The Arrangement

Rate this book
The gorgeous CEO of Brewer Air is my boss and, thanks to a bet, my new husband for six months.

Why? Because I begged.

I have a grandmother to support, a stack of bills higher than my five-foot frame, and as a cherry on top, I need to find a new place to live. Soon.

Sure, Jason Brewer’s bright green eyes and chiseled jawline steal my breath. His smirk makes me weak. The former military hero’s protective nature is as sexy as watching him control a boardroom or fly a plane.

But none of that matters. I’m desperate—not foolish. I know forever-level commitments aren’t real. This is simply a business transaction with a billionaire.

It’s too bad we didn’t consider all contingencies.

Our first kiss was to seal the deal. The second was in front of an Elvis impersonator. The third kiss led to a honeymoon that was so hot it burned into my memory.

I tell myself it’s okay because there’s an arrangement in place. It’s a—very—enjoyable means to a much-needed end. There’s nothing to worry about.
Except there is …

Jason is determined to prove that we could be more. When he proposes a new arrangement, it changes everything in ways I never saw coming.

A new age-gap workplace romance featuring a former military hero and his strong heroine. Jason Brewer will have you swooning as he falls first in this “sweet and spicy” standalone romance.

Ehhh, this was okay, I guess, and tbh, I don't think there's any real plot on this. Maybe this will serve as a quick read to pass the time. Something light, nothing serious, and doesn't require brain cells. 😅

Chloe (25) has been working for three years, all in all, in Jason's (35) company, and seven months of those were as his EA. They've known each other way back years ago (when they were young), because Chloe's mom used to work as a cleaner for Jason's family. Anyway, some years have passed, then they met again four years ago and became friends (coffee buddy) for a year before he offered her a job position in his company.

It turns out that when they saw each other again, Jason became interested in Chloe, but she had a boyfriend back then, making her off limits. Then they settled on having a working friendship and professional relationship all throughout the years. The thing is, both of them were mutually attracted to one another and have been hiding that fact away by incessantly flirting with each other. And despite the secret pining??? crush??? it was mentioned that Chloe dated OM in those three years, but there's no direct confirmation about Jason. But I'm assuming he did too; idk, it's just the impression I got, and his brother offhandedly said that he'd never seen him with a woman longer than two months, max three.

Moving past that, Jason's brother made a bet of 100K against him that he'd never be able to marry someone else for the next three years. When Chloe heard about the bet, she said that she's going to marry Jason, just to win against his brother and, of course, for the money as well. She's in dire need of financial assistance atm, so she's willing to do anything, but in a fair and square way, to have some money. And Jason used this opportunity to finally make Chloe permanently his. The bet was really dumb and didn't make sense, but to be rich, right? 🤷‍♀️

It's probably been a long time coming for these two, because it didn't take long for them to realize that they wanted that marriage to be as real as it could get. The next thing I knew, they were professing their love for one another and making plans to expand their family.

I find it hard to buy the sudden 180 from Chloe because she's hellbent on being against marriage and kids. Thanks to her grandpa and father, she didn't really have a good male role model in life. She vowed that she never wanted to get married because men are unreliable and that she didn't want to become a mom.

Yet after marrying Jason and seeing him dote on her and carry his newborn nephew, all of those stances vanished in a flash. Less than a week of being married, and now she's willing to stay for real in this marriage and carry his babies. I think his plane crash became her needed wake-up call as well to actually reflect on what she really wanted out of life. Like I said, unconvincing, but okay, whatever.

Anyhoo, this was still fun in a way, short, and fast read, so I finished it quickly. 🙃

Holy smokes Jason Brewer is the full EVERYTHING! As the second oldest Brewer and the man holding is family together he’s broody and doesn’t people very well but when it comes to his EA he’s all smiles and loves exchanging a quick and flirty barb here and there!

Chloe is all smiles and quick witted at work but her personally life is going down the toilet fast! When an opportunity presents itself her and Jason make an arrangement that could help them both! Their barbs were foreplay for years and now that built up angst is about to spill over but is it more? With a set timeline Jason needs to show Chloe that he’s always wanted her and he needs to convince her that the time frame he wants is forever!

Jason loves and he loves hard! He didn’t hold back with Chloe and I loved her sassy Mimi who helped show her that love is worth the fight!

So many hilarious Brewer sibling moments and I love anytime I can see “read” a Ford and Landry moment! An amazing story and another Brewer to love!

Jason and Chloe will set your heart and your kindle on fire! Adriana Locke delivers another perfectly spicy and swoony marriage of convenience romance in The Arrangement. I cannot get enough of her big family dynamics love. The Brewer family is no exception. They stay together in the toughest times and rally behind each other and other times...it's all fun and banter. Jason might be the brooding grumpy alpha CEO but his friend aka his assistant has him wrapped around her fingers. But she didn't know that until she proposed that insane plan to get fake married and Jason was hell bent on proving that they are the real deal.

💋billionaire romance
💋 friends to lovers
💋 boss employee
💋 age gap
💋 fake marriage
💋 grumpy sunshine
Jason Brewer is the glue of Brewer family. He has a lot of responsibility as the business head but he also takes care of everyone. And his assistant aka friend Chloe takes care of all parts of his life. She forever had a crush on him but kept it secret. Jason has a special place for her too but he believes that Chloe deserve someone younger and less jaded. It all goes haywire when his brothers bet that he cannot get married in 3 years and Chloe desperately need money to save her family and home but didn't want Charity...so she gets in the bet and they get fake married.

OMG where do I order my personal Jason Brewer? He is so deliciously alpha. Ruthless and controlled in business. Merciless for people trying to hurt his family. He is so protective and caring..it fills my heart with all kinds of warm swoony vibes. Chloe is so sassy and sweet. She has come from a difficult background and she takes care of her sick grandmother like she did for her mother. She is drowning in debt but she is too proud to ask for help. She hates to be seen as poor or helpless. Jason would have taken away all her worries if she just said so but our stubborn and strong heroine fought her own battle. She was desperate when she proposed to help Jason win the bet. But Jason just turned everything around. It's like he was waiting for an opportunity to bring Chloe fully in his life and spoil her senseless in a way she cannot refuse. It was full on courting. Their chemistry was off the charts hot. Their banter was always entertaining and everything got hotter when sex was added. Jason was so gone for Chloe and he didn't try to hide it once they said "I do." He respects her independence and fierce personality but he is obsessed with her golden heart. Falling for the boss was never so spicy and heartwarming.
PS I NEED THE NEXT BREWER BROTHER STORY LIKE YESTERDAY

Jason Brewer did not disappoint. He is a swoon worthy, alpha, possessive hunk and he falls hard for Chloe.

Chloe is Jason’s executive assistant and she has been harboring a crush on the CEO billionaire for a while. She’s down on her luck, taking care of her Mimi and about to lose her crappy apartment.

She offers up an arrangement to Jason so he can win a bet with his brother and Chloe can have a safe place for her and Mimi. They just have to get married and stay married for 6 months. Easy enough as long as she keeps her heart locked up tight.

Jason doesn’t plan on winning this bet because he’s in love with Chloe and wants this marriage to be forever. He plans to show her what being married to him is like by spoiling her Cinderella style.

The chemistry is off the charts and they fall more in love with each other but Chloe is hesitant to give her heart away and end up hurt. But Jason doesn’t give up easily and pretty soon they are planning forever.

I love getting a piece of the other siblings, especially the scenes with Renn ( he’s my fav) and Mimi is such a hoot and is quickly folded into the Brewer family.

Another winner and I can’t wait for the rest of the Brewer books!

I was blessed to get an ARC of this book for my honest opinion.

You know how when you look into your spouses eyes, you can see and feel the love pouring out? That's what is like reading The Arrangement. What started out as a bet turns into hea. The characters Jason and Chloe come to an agreement, and by the end of the book, you'll be sitting back with a big smirk on your face saying. Dang, she did it again. Another master piece. 5+ stars.

🤌🏻 Tam benim kalemim🥰

Seri bilgisi yoktu ama The Proposal ilk kitap.

UPDATE: 🎧AUDIOBOOK REVIEW🎧 08/17/2024 ⇒ As you can see below, I read this story for its release back in July and loved it and absolutely swooned over the entire story. Now I have listened to the story and, I am more in love with all the things! I very rarely get to say this definitively, but I'm doing it now ⇒⇒ If you get the opportunity to listen to this story, do it, you'll thank me later! #trust I didn't think that I could feel deeper emotions about a whole lot of circumstances going on in this story, but I did, and it was absolutely glorious! Sebastian York & Amy McFadden brought their a-game to this performance and I just love them for it! Audiobook for the #win!

It’s been a hot minute since I have wanted to jump straight into the audiobook of a story the minute I finished it. why must I wait?! *cries* This story was worth every minute of my nail-biting wait! The story is fast paced with a pretty quick timeline, but that’s how it goes when you have MCs that have an established friendship. Jason & Chloe have been in each other’s lives in one way or another for a long time and Andriana used this fact to focus the story solely on the evolution of ”marriage of convenience” to “for real marriage” and it worked perfectly. The feelings were already there within them, so for me, it was a feel good fest of epic proportions!

The feel good fest was not without a whole lot of emotion and depth. The Brewer family has an uphill battle as a family and the arc of this plot-point began in the previous book. I feel like Adriana is going to carry this arc through all the Brewer’s stories, or at least I hope she does, and I’m here for it. Without it, the story wouldn’t really have had something to grab hold of, if you feel me. Every Brewer sibling has a metaphorical knife they’d like to take to daddy Brewer, and I just really hope they all get to, because, well, he’s the devil. *shrug*

One last thing … We shall see ;)

I can’t wait to have this story in my ears and to read the next Brewer sibling to come along. The families that Adriana has built are something special! If you haven’t experienced them yet, do yourselves a favor and just do it!

If you love the Carmichael Family Series, you'll love getting to know the Brewer family. We met Renn in The Proposal and Bianca with Fox Carmichael in Flame, and now it’s Jason Brewer's turn.

Jason heads up Brewer Aviation and is the guy who keeps his family together, something he's been doing since the Brewer family first learned to live without their father and husband. Clearly, he's the protective, responsible type and has no time in his life for anything other than family and work.

Chloe Goodman struck gold when Jason, her friend's brother, offered her a job at Brewer Aviation. She did her job so well, she got promoted to Jason's assistant. She loves working with her friend and taking care of his brothers, but she’s also caring for her grandmother, so that inclination runs deep. Too bad the bump in pay hasn’t helped much in getting her head above water financially.

This is the kind of romance I adore. The kind that's fun, lighthearted, low-angst, and practically reads itself. The arranged marriage trope is executed flawlessly with charm, humor, and a surprising depth of heart. And trust me on this, Mimi alone makes this one worth reading. If you haven’t read this gifted storyteller’s work, you’re really missing out. Start with this delightful, heart-warming romance, and I promise you won’t be disappointed.

This was a solid 3.5 stars for me. It was fast paced with some great characters. I liked the intermingling and referencing to several other Lockeverse characters. I like the dynamics and chemistry between Jason and Chloe. I think my "problem" was HOW fast paced this was. I think the majority of the plot in this book is over a two week timeframe and SO much happens and changed. I felt like there could have been a little more fill or buildup but overall this was an enjoyable read! I liked the found family and the text banter as well- that always adds relatability and LOLs.

Chloe's life is being upended, and there doesn't seem to be an end in sight. Her grandmother keeps falling and needs more care than she can give her. Her car insurance has been cancelled due to a bank issue. Her apartment has been condemned. She doesn't know what to do until a bet turns in her favor. Her boss has been bet by his brother that he won't ever get married (and stay married for 6 months). This is perfect- she can just fake marry the man she has had a secret crush on for 4 years who happens to be her billionaire boss. It will be seamless and wonderful. What she doesn't think about is moving into his ridiculously large house with her grandma? Or him buying her $40k worth of clothes? Or being treated like a princess? Or picturing this being an actual forever when she has never believed in marriage. But here she finds herself. Wanting a future with this man who treats her like a queen. The question is will she be able to tell him that?

Jason is a busy man. He is the CEO of his family's airline company. He doesn't have time to date. Especially since the one woman who he has ever thought of a future with is off limits- Chloe. His executive assistant but first his good friend. Yet he finds himself irritated when she talks about an upcoming date. He then finds himself irritated when his brother's bet him that he won't ever get married (and stay married for 6 months). Now his world has been turned upside down because Chloe has taken on the bet- she wants to get married. Sure she is doing it for the money, but this is Jason's chance to get her to see him for more. To get her to experience what life with him would be like. He is not going to let this chance slip by. Especially since sex is on the table. He has been dreaming about all of this happening with her for years. So what does he do? He treats her like his queen. He wines and dines her. He worships her body. He welcomes her grandma to his house. But is it enough? Because he is finding himself not looking forward to the end of this bet.

Like I said, this was a quick easy read! I do plan on going back and reading Renn's story and found myself REALLY intrigued by all of the other couples mentioned. I also am wondering who of the Brewer brothers is next??

Thank you to Valentine PR and Adriana for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!

What to Expect:
- Billionaire Romance
- Marriage of Convenience
- Friends-to-Lovers
- Office Romance
- Age Gap
- Boss/Employee

Adriana Locke has done it again! I love how she can pull me into her stories. I refused to put this book down. I loved Jason and Chloe so much! I had a smile on my face the entire time while reading this book. Jason is all man! I loved everything about this swoony, ex-military, protective billionaire CEO. Chloe is an amazing caretaker, and I loved how she did what she could to care for the people she loved. She is super independent and makes things happen. They have amazing chemistry, and I love their banter. I enjoyed the development of their relationship. I am a sucker for age gaps and marriages of convenience, and this book did both of those tropes justice. I couldn't help but fall in love with the Brewer family. I need more of them! Mimi was a highlight for me as well. She was hilarious! The Arrangement is a great book with a fun plot, great characters, a sizzling romance, and laugh-out-loud moments. I can't wait to read more books about the Brewer family.

Narration:
Amy McFadden & Sebastian York performed this audiobook in dual narration. They were the perfect voices for Chloe and Jason. Amy and Sebastian flawlessly portrayed the personalities of each character and brought them to life. They captured the essence of Chloe and Jason's relationship as friends, co-workers (boss/employee), and lovers. I could really feel the intensity, tension, and emotions through their voices. Amy and Sebastian's performances fully immersed me in the story and enhanced my listening experience.

Thanks to Adriana Locke and Valentine PR for providing me with advanced reader and listener copies. Opinions expressed are my own.

I feel the book could have been better. I didn't connect with the main characters, and although the plot caught my attention, I think the character development was lacking.

The story follows a woman who decides to marry her boss for 6 months due to a bet. They begin to develop a relationship, but I felt it was insufficient because there was nothing but sexual tension between them. One issue with the scenes was that they were constantly repetitive, and it became increasingly tedious.

It's not a read that I loved, but it's not terrible either, which is why I'm undecided about the rating.

This is a gorgeous read full of fantastic chemistry and sexual tension, with a friends-to-lovers, sort-of-pretend marriage, boss/assistant romance. It’s sweet, sexy and gorgeously romantic, and I loved it.

This is the second standalone in the Brewer Family series, and it’s the story of brilliant billionaire and CEO, Jason Brewer. Patient, caring, solid and dependable, Jason has an air of seriousness about him, but he’s actually quite a playful guy, and nowhere is that more evident than when he interacts with his Executive Assistant, Chloe.

Jason and Chloe have known each other since Chloe was a child and used to play with his younger siblings. They reconnected as adults, became friends, and then he offered her the job as his EA, and they make a sensational team in the office. They’re also wildly attracted to each other. Their relationship is a great mix of professional, friendly and flirtatious, but neither of them have ever made an actual move. Until Chloe overhears Jason and his brothers discussing a bet against Jason ever getting married and then staying married for six months. About to be evicted, and needing money to help care for her aging grandmother, Chloe recognises an opportunity to solve her financial problems, and declares herself Jason’s fiancé, and he’s all too happy to go along with it.

I admit, it’s a bit of a flimsy premise to get us to a fake marriage - the whole ‘let’s get married to win a bet and therefore help Chloe’ premise is a little weak. But the sexual tension is so intense that they’re willing to grasp onto any flimsy excuse to finally explore their mad attraction, and they seize the opportunity. And I was loving the direction the story was taking, and was right on board!

“Are we consummating this marriage, Mr Brewer?” I ask, hoping I’m reading the situation correctly. If not…
“That’s up to you.” He shifts his weight from one foot to the other. “But I hope so.”

“So my options are to take the money and run…” My cheeks flush as I meet his gaze. “Or I take the money, have a place to stay, and have sex with you for six months?”
He pins me to the spot with only a look. If this intensity is a promise of things to come, I’m in.
I’m so fucking in.
“Option B, please,” I say.
A flicker of a smile kisses his lips.

OMG, I love these two together! I was feeling the attraction, I wanted them together so badly, and I was madly flipping pages as their friendly working relationship becomes something else entirely!

“Marriage is a big deal to me, even if this one has special circumstances. But I will expect complete exclusivity. I will be your husband – and I will take that honor seriously. You need to understand that. This is going to be very real to me.”

“I’m going to be your wife, Mr Brewer,” she says, her voice filled with a naughtiness that constricts my entire body. “We’re marrying because of the bet. We’re going all in because we want to.”
Fucking hell.

It’s sexy and intense, but so beautifully sweet. Jason is a kind-hearted gentleman with a wild dirty streak and oh holy hell, the man is so damn hot! The sexy time is sizzling, but more than that, his feelings for Chloe are so strong! He’s already halfway in love with her before they get married, once they’re actually together, he throws himself all in, holding nothing back, and I was there for it!

“For the next six months, you’re mine,” he says, his voice rough. “If you want out, all you have to do is ask. But until you do ask, I will treat you like I think you should be treated.”
“How’s that?”
The twinkle in his eyes is divine.
“With respect.” He brushes a strand of hair off my shoulder, making me shiver. “With attention.” His hand wraps around my neck under my hairline. “With kindness.” He leans in and kisses me just under my earlobe.
Oh. I moan softly. I might melt right here.
His lips hover over my ear. “And I’m going to give you so many orgasms that you’ll be begging me to stop,” he whispers.

Apart from all of the wild sex, we see their relationship shift and change as they open up in ways they haven’t before, and help support each other through challenges they’re both dealing with. It’s a beautifully functional relationship, and though there is some drama, the romance is almost completely angst free, which I really appreciated.

“I fell in love with you.” My voice cracks. Hopelessly in love with you … I’ve fallen so fucking hard for you that I can’t breathe.”

Swooooon!

I also loved seeing so much of the Brewer siblings - my God, these are so freaking funny. They are a great group of guys with their own distinct personalities already, and I love their dynamic and the way they tease and banter with each other. There is some continuation for Renn’s story from the last book, and I cannot wait to read more about these boys as the series continues.

This is such a gorgeous love story, with fantastic characters and a fun, sexy and heartfelt romance. I loved it

💙HEA

Gosh! Oh my heart.. Jason Brewer was just everything a swoony hero should be i absolutely adored Chloe and Jason’s story and the banter in this one not only between them but the Brewer siblings was great as well.

Jason, is the second oldest Brewer sibling and the Billionaire CEO of Brewer Air. He is the glue that holds his family together and because of this he’s become all work, and a very broody man… except with Chloe, his executive assistant. Whom he secretly has a thing for… from afar.

Chloe, has been through a lot in her young life. By nature, she’s a caring person and doesn’t want to seem weak or ask anyone for help. When Chloe learns of the bet between Jason and his brothers an opportunity presents for them to help each other and make an arrangement to win the bet .

These two were just amazing. They had a lot of chemistry but because they both worked together they felt they needed to deny themselves the opportunity to find their person. Chloe also felt she didn’t fit in Jason’s world and he was out of her league.

If you are looking for a sweet romance filled with banter and chemistry then this is definitely right up your alley. Add in some office romance, marriage of convenience and a bet to get Jason to think about something other than work and The arrangement is one you will love.

This was okay and pretty basic. There wasn‘t any real plot and to be honest I skimmed a lot of pages. It was a cute marriage of convenience romance and I liked the characters but nothing more. This story is perfect for one afternoon.
Chloe and Jason are a perfect fit. They work together and their banter is so funny. I liked them as a couple cause both know exactly what the other person needs. They truly care for each other and Chloe had Jason wrapped around her finger. This man was in love from the first page and I loved his inner monologue.
Overall an entertaining and quick read.

This is book 2 in the Brewer series and while this could be read as a stand alone, so much happened in book 1 that's affected the characters in this family that I think you definitely need to read book 1! Besides, it's a great fun story with surprise marriage.

Anyway, Jason Brewer is very focused on his job and his family. He really holds them all up, and we see this in the book time and again. He has a few brothers who are definitely more fancy free than he is, and they bet he would even last as a husband. Even though WE know how caring he is and how he takes care of everything. Come on, that's total husband material!

One person in his orbit is Chloe, who is his EA. She takes care of him, and since working these bast 3 years with him, she really knows him inside and out. Chloe is a sweetheart who's living paycheck to paycheck, taking care of her only family, her grandmother Mimi.

Jason accepts this bet his brothers throughout, and who wants to help him out? Chloe. This coincides with her and Mimi needing a new place to live. And it could really help her out financially by getting over this brothers.

It's so fun. I was surprised at how the arrangement figures itself out. I thought we'd be doing some pining or something! I was totally, pleasantly shocked at how they arranged their married life. I was thinking to myself that this is going to turn out so risky! But sometimes love is hidden and attraction isn't.

There is of course, some of the plot line from book 1 to solve. I enjoy Jason's crazy brothers and it was sweet to see how Renn's family is. Can't wait for brother number 3!

I loved this book! Jason Brewer is everything but so is Chloe! The dynamic they have is just so good! I wanted Jason’s story from the minute we met him. And I always love when the guy falls first in books. I loved his inner monologue anytime he was around Chloe. And Chloe is a spitfire and so easy to love. Oh and Mimi, the whole Brewer clan takes care of her and just gah! That melts my heart on the spot! Loved this book so hard!

Whew (fans self), these Brewer men are something else! I absolutely adored Jason and Chloe's story, I went through a whole range of emotions. I'm pretty sure if my family was home while reading it would have gone something like this...

Why are you smiling at your phone? What are you laughing about over there? Wait, are you crying? What are you reading now? Are you tearing up again?

Chloe is stubborn, fierce and just salt of the earth people! I loved her relationship with her grandma, Mimi. Jason, he almost too swoony for his own good, but only with Chloe. Every Adriana book I read just makes me feel warm and fuzzy, this was no different. I can't even wait for more of this family! Definitely a must read!

Spoilers included.

Once again Adriana brings us swoon worthy alpha hero in Jason Brewer.

The Arrangement is book two of the Brewer family but the third member we met. Renn in The Proposal and Bianca was part of the Carmichael series in Flame. She again brings the big family fun in this book. More banter, more love and more support for each other. Everything you come to expect in her big family series.

Jason is the CEO of Brewer Air and Chloe is his executive assistant for only a short time but has been working for the company for a few years. She and Jason have actually known each other since they were younger, there is a 10 year age gap. Her mom worked at the Brewer mansion so Chloe grew up playing with the younger Brewer kids. Fast forward many years to when Jason ran into Chloe at their favorite coffee shop and they sparked up a close friendship even though Jason wanted more the second he saw her but the timing was bad since she was with someone else. He figured friendship was good for him since he couldn’t have her any other way.

Chloe a strong willed, independent hard working young lady that struggles financially with life and medical bills but does the best she can. She lives with and takes care of her amazing, HILARIOUS (steals the show) elderly grandmother Mimi since it’s only the two of them now since Chloe’s mother’s passing.

She learns that Jason and his brother have made a bet for 100 grand that Jason won’t get married within the next 3 years and stay married for 6 months. The money will go to the winners choice of charity since neither of them need the money personally so Chloe says hey I’ll marry you and you can give me half the money when the 6 months is over since I need it so bad and it would be life changing for me and Mimi. Chloe wants nothing to do with really being married because of the men she has had in her life up to that point including her father and grandfather. She does not believe in true love. Jason is floored she suggests it but they go for it giving him the chance to be with the lady he’s been secretly crushing over but he tells Chloe if this happens it will be very real for him in his role as her husband in EVERY way.

Jason spoils her taking care of her and Mimi showing that not all guys are bad and he is one of the good ones which she knew he was just not in so many ways.

The chemistry between these two is very hot and he again takes VERY good care of her. There is a lot of “My wife”vibes from him which makes me swoon every time.

I very much enjoyed this book and I can’t wait for more of the Brewer family. Thanks for the ARC Addy.

I ATE THIS UP!!! I loved this book! I loved the characters; main characters & side characters! The banter, the marriage of convenience, the tension, the friends to lovers, etc! This was exactly what I needed, when I needed it, & for a mood reader, that is extremely important. Jason Brewer is a GOD TIERED husband. Jason & Chloe are friends that work together, & they both weren’t looking to settle down, get married or have kids. They both are very attracted to each other, but have yet to cross that line. That is until a brotherly bet & unfortunate events forms The Arrangement. This isn’t your typical marriage of convenience, because Jason is very straight forward that he will do anything for Chloe & it would be very real for him, but Chloe is very resistant to being happy, letting someone take care of her & love. The Arrangement is set for six months after they marry, but Jason is determined to make it forever. Not only did he care so deeply for Chloe & treat her like a queen, he is the head of & protector for his family. His family has been through something traumatic & his father is in prison, so although he is not the eldest child, he stepped up to be head of family. I also love how Adriana connects all her other books & series! So many characters overlap & are featured in books throughout the world she has created. I can’t wait to continue reading her backlist! && I am so ready for the rest of the books for this family!!

Thank you Adriana Locke & Valentine PR for the ARC!

To seria, która jest stworzona do czytania dla relaksu - bardzo przewidywalna, ale jednocześnie pełna poczucia humoru i zabawnych tekstów.
"The Arrangement" ostatecznie podobała mi się odrobinę mniej niż "The Proposal", czegoś mi tu brakowało i przede wszystkim książka była zbyt krótka. Uwielbiam Jasona - ten facet to ideał. Od lat zakochany w swojej przyjqciółce, która jest też jego asystentką. Spragniony ustatkowania się i miłości. A Chloe?

I devoured this book like it someone was gong to take it away from me 😂

Jason Brewer was so completely swoony it’s a good job I was sitting down when reading 😂 he is the perfect combination of protective, kind, spicy and hot 🥵 him and Chloe were so freaking good together and their chemistry was off the charts. I seriously could not put this book down and I loved all the little Easter eggs in the book 🐔😜

Chloe had such great character development throughout the story as she had so many walls built up but Jason managed to knock them all down and I loved how by the end she was such a romantic ❤️

I love the family dynamics and I frankly can’t wait for Tate’s story as he had me creasing, would love to see what him and Banks would get up to (iykyk) 😂

I can’t recommend this book enough and it can be read as a stand-alone but to get the full experience I recommend reading The Proposal first or The Carmichael series 😊

I was given an ARC for review and all opinions are my own, thank you for the opportunity 🥰
