"I know you're not here for my benefit! I know the devil sent you here!"While those who know him best say he is a generally pleasing and genuinely fun person, not everyone was happy to see Jason Pederson at their door.
That's because for two decades as KATV's 7 On Your Side reporter, it was part of Pederson's job to confront scoundrels and advocate for wronged Arkansans.
This book allows you to both read about and watch some of the moments that made up his career as a consumer reporter. Pederson also shares the history of the 7 On Your Side franchise, the stories behind some of your favorite stories, and lessons learned along the way.
This is a very good book that I’d meant to pick up a while back, but in a recent trip back to Arkansas, I pulled the trigger. The timing was perfect as I’m starting my own investigative reporting journey—though Pederson pointed out his correct role was technically consumer reporter. I grew up watching and admiring his work from afar. Any book blurbed by the great Larry Foley is enough for me to buy it. There’s a lot of good nuggets to pull from this book.
