Unresolved Lives by news reporter Sue Williams follows seven murder cases where no one was convicted, thus remaining unsolved. The victims included an immigrant family shortly after WWII whose house burned and 5 children were missing (no evidence of their being trapped inside), a city employee who was tortured and killed the day before her contentious divorce was final, a young girl who never made it home from school, and young men who went missing in a small town but their dismembers bodies found scattered. These cases, which most likely will never be solved, are the source of speculation today.

Williams research was meticulous, as shown in her journalistic style of writing and reiteration of facts. It is a chilling account of those victims and the families who live with the unresolved issues of murder.
