Men are trash.

Well, Elle Montgomery’s cheating fiancé is at any rate. When a surprise visit goes horribly wrong and she catches him red-handed, she wants to get as far from him as humanly possible—but two hundred years into the past seems a little excessive. By a twist of fate she can’t explain, Elle is thrust back in time, finding herself in Regency Era, England. As if her life wasn’t complicated enough already, now Elle must take part in the social season of high society London. She agrees to go through the motions, but with zero desire to so much as dip a toe near the dating pool again (in this century or any other), the idea of being pursued relentlessly for months on end isn’t exactly appealing—especially by someone like Alexander Kentworth.

Alec Kentworth, future viscount and all-around rake, has no desire to take a bride or entertain the ridiculous customs of the social season, but when his father requests his presence, he cannot refuse. After a rocky first encounter with the mysterious newcomer to the Ton, Eleanor Montgomery, the two find common ground: he has no desire to actually court anyone, and she has no desire to be courted. The two strike a deal to begin a false courtship. It’s the perfect plan—until their farce turns into friendship, and then into something so much more.

But can Elle possibly trust him with her secret? Could she possibly hope that he’d believe her? Did she travel two hundred years into the past to find her soulmate, only to have him remain just out of reach?

Only time will tell…

-подорож у часі;
-знайдена сім'я;
-від ненависті до кохання;
-від друзів до закоханих;
-фіктивні стосунки;

This was my first time reading anything with time travel and older times. I loved Elle and Alec, their banter was fun & I loved their tension. Elle is so funny and I love her in an older setting bc she is so not one of those girls.I thought it was a good read!! It took me a second to get into it but once I did I read it pretty quickly. It was like a mix of outlander and bridgerton, and I loved that LOL I cannot wait to read more from this author!

This was an ARC I received and this review is all my own honest opinion.

Wrong place, Wrong Time de K.D Miller

Argumento:

It’s like 3.5 stars, but like some of things were cliché, and like the ending part were like she obviously had to tell him her past, and like the way he reacted I felt was like overdramatic. Again, of course no one has experienced this, but like I feel like if they did, it would be more Acceptable than what is portrayed. Like no offense, but if someone showed up in front of me and told me they’re from the future and had like proof and like said that they had proof I would think they’re crazy but like I wouldn’t like run away from them like I don’t know I don’t know how to explain it, but I just felt like it was over dramatic. Which was annoying and kinda hard to read.

I really liked the fact that she came from the future into the past. I’ve never heard a book like that and I’m totally down to read more like that with like that plot.

If you ever wondered what you'd get if you combined the romance of Bridgerton with the time traveling drama of Outlander- look no further! Wrong Place, Wrong Time, Right Viscount is funny, heartwarming, and a steamy slow burn that makes me almost want to travel back to the 1800s myself! I completely devoured it in a day and still have a silly grin on my face. K.D. Miller has crafted a wonderful mix of heart, humor, and hot nobility

Honestly if I could give it more than five stars I would. It hit a spot in book reading I didn't know I needed.

Wow wow wow! I’ve always loved books by K.D Miller , but this book is outstanding ! This had Bridgerton vibes! And I was here for it . If you like Bridgerton You will LOVE this. A young girl called Eleanor (Elle) found out her long term/ long distance boyfriend was cheating on her, so she decided to leave and walked to a wooded area even though she was warned by police. Elle wanted to get away , forget about everything she just walked in and then She walks through some trees and bang wakes up in the year 1918 , where she has to learn to live in their era , where she has to attend balls , meet dukes , viscounts and worthy men , where she meets this upcoming viscount Alec. Elle really disliked him in the beginning until she got to know more into his life and what he has been through and what is yet to
Come. I don’t want to spoil the whole book but honestly I couldn’t put this book l down. Loved reading it start to finish . I need more K.D Miller please 🙏🏻

I have to say this was an easy & enjoyable read! The premise is mix of Outlander (seriously, there’s even a Scottish character) & Bridgerton with some Pride & Prejudice mixed in (Pembroke is remarkably similar to Mr. Darcy’s Pemberley). It’s fast paced & moves well. I read it in a day!

I was so happy I got an ARC of this! Thank you!

⭐️ARC Review⭐️

I was very excited to receive an ARC for this book and it did not disappoint! I have been on a major regency era kick and this was a great fit! This story follows Eleanor (Elle) who discovers her fiancée cheating on her months before their wedding. She runs off and ends up in the woods where she is transported back to the year 1813. While this is a shock for her she discovers a new found family in those who take her in. (I need a whole book just on Jocelyn and Callum!) Through all of this it feels like not only does she heal a part of herself, but she also finds the love the she deserves.

I also really appreciated that the FMC didn’t lose herself despite being brought back in time. She kept her spunk, her wit, and her attitude, and did not change because the time did. My biggest qualm with this book and the reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars was that I felt that the pacing was just slightly off. I felt that the beginning was very rushed (so much happens within the first 60 pages) and towards the middle it just kinda feels stagnant for a little bit. I know this time was used to build the relationship between Elle and Alec, but I wish the pacing would have been a little more consistent. Especially because it starts to pick up again towards the end.

Overall though I really enjoyed this book! It was a nice quick read and it definitely kept me in my Bridgerton vibe that I have had going on. Thank you to K.D. Miller for the opportunity to read this book before the release!

5⭐

I absolutely ✨adored✨ this book! It was like Outlander meets Bridgerton with a touch of Pride and Prejudice. I especially liked how the author provides multiple perspectives rather than just focusing on Elle's perspective. For example, I loved how she described Elle and Alec's first impressions of each other over spilled whisky. If you'd like a little bit of escapism to Regency era London with a touch of spice, this is the book for you.

Thank you so much for this ARC read.

I absolutely loved this novel. If you are looking for a novel with Bridgerton feels, Outlander time travel, chivalrous rakish male and millennial strong female this is the novel for you. I loved the character development for Elle and Alec, the slow burn romance and found family. I loved Jocelyn and Jonathan and I hope there are more books in the future for these characters as I think there is room for it. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

I received an ARC copy of this book! If you are looking for a new Bridgerton meets Outlander type book, you’ve found the right one!

We follow Elle and her journey through time to a place she didn’t know she needed. With funny references, some Taylor Swift mentions, and an appreciation of modern day plumbing, you’ll fall in love with all of the characters.

The slow burn was everything and I found myself just wanting something to happen!

I enjoyed this book thoroughly! Thank you for letting me be an ARC reader!

ARC Reader Review

I was so honoured to be selected to be an Arc reader for this author. Especially since I devoured it! If you are a fan of bridgerton then you need to read this book. It has that bridgerton vibe but if someone from our era got sent back in time and how they would actually probably react.

Usually when I select books I’m hesitant on third person perspective, however right from the start I felt connected to the FMC. I loved her sass and attitude made her feel so relatable.
Then when we meet Mr. Viscount I was even more in love! His curiosity to her and the banter between them were my favourite. I also love his backstory it showed a different side of him which I enjoyed.
It does start of a little slow but once it picks up, man does it ever. The last half of the book, I laughed, cried and swooned. I was also surprised with the ending which I loved.

I definitely want to read more of this author and I’d be interested if finding out about more of Jocelyn and Callums story as well.

Okay, hear me out… if Outlander and Bridgeton had a baby, it would be this book! This made me forget to do my laundry lol. I picked it up for a ‘quick peek’ and the next thing I knew it was 2AM and I was emotionally invested in the love life of a Regency rake. Elle is smart, fiery, and the kind of heroine you just want to grab coffee with (or maybe wine). Alec? One word; irresistible! He’s the type of man who makes you want to throw a book at his head and kiss him right after. Their banter is pure gold, the slow-burn tension is delicious, and the side characters? Callum and Joyce? Absolute scene stealers. I laughed! I swooned! If you’re in the mood for romance that feels like a decadent dessert, rich, indulgent, and impossible to stop devouring, this is it. This was a great palette cleanser, and I loved every minute of it!

Bridgerton meets Outlander in this entertaining and swoon-worthy story. The characters were great, and the time travel aspect was handled incredibly well. It’s got a slow-burn romance, fake dating, and some 🌶️.

Alec was a sweetheart and I loved his character. He had that haughty exterior when we met him that I just knew his the sweetest guy underneath, and I wasn’t disappointed. And Elle was great. She didn’t know much about the century she was thrown into, but she did her best to figure it out while never letting go of what made her Her. The bond she had with Jocelyn was so cute and I loved seeing the two of them connect over their shared experiences.

Thank you so much to the author for inviting me to their arc team!

I got to read this early and I was not disappointed! It was such a good read. It felt like bridgerton mixed with outlander but mixed with modern society. I loved the idea of someone in the past helping all those who stumble through time. I love the idea of having to adjust to life back then. What I didn’t love was how the ending was. I didn’t like that it was just accepted. Like yeah someone else had been through it but to have the mmc just come back and then decide he would be okay to go to the future? It’s an interesting idea. It didn’t deter me enough to not want to read! I hope we get more of these!

Perfect for fans of outlander and bridgerton. This was a fun, albeit sometimes cheesy book. Enemy to lovers, fake relationship, time travel, touch her and you die - what more could you want. Oh, also, some nice steamy smut. There is a great build-up and some well written smutty scenes. If you love period romances, you will love this book!

ARC read:
If Outlander and Bridgerton had a baby… it would be this book! Elle is a 26 year old who accidentally time travels back to the 1800’s. This book was really cute! I loved the fmc’s banter throughout the book.

I also appreciated the inclusion of her Warped Tour tshirt… having went to the last Vans Warped Tour, I definitely had a fan girl moment. I really enjoyed the scene where Jocy & Elle went back to the country estate for a few nights to watch Supernatural and reminisce on indoor plumbing & have a dance party. I really enjoyed reading about their bond.

The book does need a little editing. There were a few typos, but nothing too distracting.

Now, I need a sequel, as well as a prequel with Jocelyn & Callum’s story. And maybe Percy & Rose’s story too… I need more!

Tropes: slow burn. Time travel. Bridgerton vibes. Strong fmc. 00’s pop culture references.

I didn't expect to like this, especially as it was hard for me to get into at the beginning. I also don't love the title.

BUT, this made me laugh out loud, which in my book (pun intended) already makes it a winner!
I fell in love hard with the FMC + MMC. Their banter was excellent, but the slow burn was even better.

This was such an unexpectedly wonderful read. I feel really grateful to have been given this advanced copy.

If you always thought “I wish I could travel back and be in Bridgerton” this book really is for you. A very cute fun read!

This book truly was Bridgerton with time traveling. The writing and descriptions were lovely. The book flowed really well and it was easy to keep up with the story.
The slow burn enemies to lovers was delivered perfectly.

The only reason I didn’t rate it higher is because I was left with far too many questions, personally. I wish some plot lines were elaborated on more. I feel like there were some things that were brought up in a way that made it seemed they would be important, but then they were just forgotten about.

Overall I would say it is worth checking out and look forward to more from this author!

*Outlander meets Bridgerton*

This book was so wonderfully written. It was everything I wanted from a Regency era romance and more. I loved both the FMC and the MMC so much and how well they work together. This will probably be one of my top reads for the year, and I'm so happy to be a part of K.D. Miller's ARC team.

As a Bridgerton fan, I jumped at the opportunity to be an ARC reader for a “time travel romance with Bridgerton vibes” and was not disappointed.

K.D. Miller’s writing flowed so well and made this book easy to devour. I loved the snarky FMC and her banter with our handsome viscount MMC. It was fun and unique to experience a Regency Era romance, but with a relatable FMC who time traveled from present day.

If you’re looking for a feel-good romance or something to hold you over until the next episode of Bridgerton, I highly recommend!

Absolutely LOVED this book! I devoured this book in a day! I couldn’t put it down! It’s such a fun, feel good romance. I don’t read a ton of romance novels, but given that this was time travel and set in 1800s England (some of my fav things), I gave it a shot and don’t regret it! I’ll be recommending this every one I know! Thank you so much for all me to be an ARC reader!

This is Bridgerton meets Outlander in all the best ways!

Eleanor is fierce, witty, sarcastic, charming, intelligent, and adapts quickly to her new environment. Alexander is the perfect counterpart--just as fierce and sarcastic as Eleanor but definitely falls first, always up to a challenge (figuring out what makes Eleanor tick being his favorite one yet), and gets sweeter and sweeter the more they interact. I loved their dynamic so much and the dialogue was always fun and flowed really well. It was a refreshing change to read of a MFC finding escape and a sense of belonging in a new world even though her original life isn't terrible (she goes from being a highly successful graphic design artist to transporting back in time hundreds of years to a world of no modern technology). I ADORED the dynamics between the characters, not just between Alec and Elle but between Elle and Jocelyn, Callum, and Rosie and even between Elle and Alec's father, John. There are some other great characters as well which only enhances the storyline further.

Elle's inner turmoil with wanting to tell Alec the truth without pushing him away forever was a good balance with Alec's struggle to allow himself to fully embrace Elle to avoid marriage while also appeasing his ailing father's wishes as they fell in love with each other.

It was genuinely so wonderful to read a book whose mcs do and say the things I hope they do and say, and not frustrate me the way many books often do. There was no unnecessary angst or drama, and though this is far from being an unemotional read, this lovely story has truly become one of my favorite books and an absolute comfort read. I loved Alec's willingness and openminded-ness to giving Elle the chance to explain her situation, despite his reservations to believe her as a doctor. And I loved Elle's willingness to be vulnerable with the man she loves. The spice is so good and only enhances the incredible narrative rather than take anything away.

She found the family she craved so much in these characters and I recommend this book to everyone wanting a wholesome romance with depth. Though Wrong Place, Wrong Time, Right Viscount is my first read from K.D. Miller, I will now be looking forward to anything she releases in the future.

I received an ARC but review provided is 100% my honest thoughts and recommendation. Thank you to K.D. Miller and team for my copy and incredible book!

✨ ARC REVIEW ✨
I was so excited to receive an ARC of Wrong Place. Wrong Time. Right Viscount by K. D. Miller because I had just finished the Bridgerton series and was looking for that same historical/regency romance vibe! This book not only scratched that itch, but also made me immediately immersed in the new world.

The story starts in the present with Elle (Eleanor) who finds her fiancé cheating on her (ugh) and she is so upset that she runs away through the woods. The locals all know of legends of magic and weird things happening in the woods and Elle had no idea how true those stories were. She walks through an archway of trees and wakes up in a different time- the 1800’s. Obviously Elle is skeptical at first but forms a bond with Jocy (another woman who had gone back in time 20 years earlier) and she starts living life as if she’s a lady of the ton. I love how Elle keeps her beliefs intact and is sassy throughout the entire book. Elle meets Alec- a viscount- and initially does not get off on the right foot with him. It turns into an enemies to lovers story and that is one of my FAVE tropes.

Overall, the book was 10/10. I immediately got wrapped up in the world and genuinely cared about the characters .

Trope: Historical Romance, Enemies to Lovers, Time Travel, Strong FMC

2.5/5 stars from me. I really really wanted to love this book. The story line had me hooked. However, to be honest, I personally found the writing to be a bit juvenile at times. Using phrases like “nope ropes” and “dunno” in an adult book just threw me off. I would have loved this book maybe ten years ago (minus the s3x of course). The grammatical errors also threw me, though it was an ARC read. I would probably try another book by the author because as I said, the actual plot was great and totally up my alley. I just personally didn’t jive with the writing style of this book.

ARC REVIEW

I was reading this book when season 3 of Bridgeton was released and it itched the scratch that I needed. Although the book is advertised with time travel and I knew we were going somewhere, I was still having trouble immersing myself in the beginning with the current-day language and topics. However, having a FMC with today's knowledge, banter and confidence made for a fun story taking place centuries in the past. FMC Elle and MMC Alec do not get along when first meeting which adds a great enemies-to-lovers vibe with quality banter. Elle's sassy comments towards MMC and outdated situations from which she's used to made for a great read. K.D Miller executed the perfect balance between present and past in a captivating way.

❤️THIS IS AN ARC REVIEW❤️
this book was seriously one of the best books I’ve ever ever read. The main character L does a fantastic job of showing what it would look like if a 21st century woman ended up in a Regency era. The main male character does a fantastic job of being the rakish arrogant Butthead that is needed for the storyline and ultimately together they make the ultimate power couple 10 out of 10 if I could give it more stars, I would I absolutely adored the end of this book I stayed up till 3 AM reading it every night, if you’re looking for Bridgerton vibes with a modern twist, this is definitely the book for you.
