A great ending!

Bardzo dobra historia z satysfakcjonującym zakończeniem. Dramat, horror i fantasy w jednym. Dużo tu o dziecięcej samotności oraz odkupieniu win. W sumie proste rozwiązania fabularne, a chwytające za serce. Jak zawsze u Lemira jest sugestywny klimat i wspaniale wykreowane postacie, których losami się przejmujemy. Świetna przygoda!

Fishflies is over :(
A satisfying yet fairly lowkey ending to the series. I expected a bit more but I was still emotionally stirred by the conclusion at the convenience store that started it all. Sometimes it's the simplest things that hit you hardest. Jeff Lemire has this brilliant uncanny ability to make the strangest images and situations absolutely emotionally wreck you. I will be an unwavering Lemire fan forever.

Lemire is unique, his stories are deeply emotional and tend to amplifies what rural living in Canada might be like. His illustrations are other-worldly yet simply obvious. This peculiar Kafka-ish story is a must-read, I couldn't put it down. ****

Good ending, but now I need to reread everything. I think this story works better as a graphic novel.
