I-am dat nota asta raportând-o doar la alte cărți pentru copii, evident. Foarte drăguță și utilă. E despre Izzy, o fetiță timidă care își face prietene în ciuda fricii ei de a fi respinsă. Împreună, fetele vor organiza un eveniment la care nimeni nu se aștepta: vor aduna oameni dispuși să le ajute să curețe o parte a unui râu care a ajuns plină de gunoi. Fiind râu, nu m-am prins exact cum îl poți curăța total, mai ales dacă te ocupi de o singură zonă, dar fie. E o poveste drăguță care îi învață pe copii despre puterea prieteniei și a solidarității oamenilor, precum și despre importanța protejării mediului înconjurător.

A really enjoyable quick read by the well known author Holly Webb. It rlly makes u open ur eyes to the world around you and is in the theme with the current climate crisis. Would recommend for young and older readers. Defo gonna read the remaining 2 books in the series

In the second book of this series, the girls all team up again to set about clearing the local river after Poppy's dog gets stuck in an old abandoned bike down there whilst out on a simple walk.



As the girls come up with ways to fundraise and get others help involved their project just might garner them some attention and appreciation for what they're trying to achieve!



The girls have to contend with many issues to be able to do their good community deed which benefits everyone whom uses the area. They also show dedication to their idea getting others involved from advertising and how they deal with school bullies when faced with their scheming ways as they set about deterring the attention away from the project! It was another serious issue raising book but with the friendship four fun touch we love as the girls bond even more doing good!

Making the world better one book at a time. The second book of the four friends series sees more environmental causes and stories of friendship, in a series aimed at the young and the idealistic. Reasonably well told, will it cause young people to be active? I'm just not confident it actually works that way.
