Once I got passed the first chapter I found it very hard to put the book down. It was a very enthralling book; I wasn't expecting the new world that Sam and Dan where Sam's sister is queen, and his brother is prince protector. Wasn't expecting that Sam was kidnapped along with a few other kids. The fact that they both found out to be princes of different places surprised me a little. I'm happy that the 3 pillars were able to work together to be able to defeat the shadow lord once and for all. The only thing that has left me a bit confused was the ending as I feel like it just ends abruptly. As according to goodreads there supposed to be 204 pages but my book ends at 193. So I am not sure what is supposed to be right. I did enjoy the overall book as a whole.
