EXPLODING CANS AND UTTER BAMS: GROWING UP IN AYRSHIRE (SCOTLAND) IN THE 1990s

(SHUGGIE BAIN WIZ DARK VICTIM BASED SHITE; THIS IS LIGHT! SCOTLAND USED TAE BE A LAUGH)

AYR, CIRCA 1995: The Big Skill has opened the eyes of a wee posho. The level of depravity is a shock to the system. Shedding the skins of the past is hard work in this jungle, especially when predators are on every corner. Violence, threats and abuses of all kinds are a daily occurrence and an inevitability rather than a possibility. It was great fun. Exhilaration, adrenaline and teenage bluster are a buzz unlike any other.

Cans of Lynx were an integral part of a teen's life in Nineties Britain. As were utter bams. The two did not mix.

More truths, half truths and mistruths from the wee twat who wrote the other two stories about 'surviving' the West of Scotland in the Nineties.

Scotland was tough

Another cracking piece of history from a bygone Scotland. Makes you think about adverse childhood experiences and existence. I wonder how many Gen Z kids would've survived this?
