Alice Johnson is brilliant, beautiful, and bored. She works an intellectually stimulating job, but the kind of stimulation she's looking for won't be found at work.
While at lunch with her best friend, Sandra, Alice makes an offhanded comment about what she'd do if she had a time machine. Months later, a major discovery at work leads to her possessing the WOGENTIM: WOrmhole GENerating TIme Machine. All that's left now is to screw each and every Commander in Chief until they surrender.
In this first volume of All The Presidents' Beds, we see how Alice's resolve leads to her setting out to do what nobody has ever done before, nor will do again. But before she goes, she has a steamy rendezvous with Alessandro, a former lover who can give her a lot of things, but not the one thing that she wants.
Warning: Explicit Content. "It Started As a Joke" is an erotica story of 7000 words that is the first in the series All The Presidents' Beds.
Ever since the first publication of H.G. Wells Time Machine in 1895, man (and woman) have been obsessed with time travel and with the popular Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, this interest has been sparked into new life. Alice Johnson has it all. She is young (29), beautiful and brilliant, in fact she is everything but happy. She has a wandering spirit and an affinity for U.S. presidents; both past and present. One may think she is attracted to power (in today’s standards they are at the pinnacle of world power) but you would be wrong. She had a more personal attraction to these men. Her secret dream was to share a cardinal relationship with all of the presidents (both past and present). This may seem like a dream that could never be attained but Alice is working on a time machine and has a plan. This book serves as the perfect introduction to a series full of potential. It could prove the prefect union of historical fiction and hot erotica. Like a vintage wine, this series could (and should) improve with age and as it matures. The roots are strong so now we only have to wait the leaves and flowers. Many should like this story and appreciate this author.
weird but I kept on reading anyway. I am not even sure what is going to happen and I am not sure if I want to find out. It's missing something in the plot development. I think I liked the main female character and her friend and that kept me reading.
