Caught Up with a Bad Zombie Princess

Rate this book
Paris has spent months in agony because of Jasera’s refusal to face his truth, but with a drastic turn of the tables, all that suffering is about to trade places…

After months of waiting, longing, and hoping for her ‘person’ to see her, Paris realises that she has no other option but to focus on herself. And with the help of cut-throat Violet, she quickly does.

However, the skills Jaden and Raeni teach Paris to help her cope end up going too far, and it soon becomes clear that she may need help reversing the damage that’s been done…

Jasera, now seeing Paris’ name everywhere he turns, finally has no choice but to face the truth of how he feels about her, even if that means being disowned by his family and losing friends he’s been loyal to for years.

But will he be able to convince Paris that things are different now? And if he can, will it be before the urges and strange behaviours start, and the family is rocked by an ominous warning from Raeni?

The one in her gut telling her that something is coming...

Mother. Author. Wellness Blogger.
Lover of Music. Believer of Romance. Dirty Minded.

LeeSha McCoy is the author of all things African American Romance. She released her first book in 2012 and currently writes African American Urban Romance, Paranormal, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Romantic Comedy, and Steamy Contemporary Romance under the pen name Karmen Kane.

With over 40 books published to date, representation is important to her, so you will always find positive representations of black men and women in her books, with a focus on family bonds, growth, and above all, strong fiery heroines and the heroes that love the hell out of them for it.

Writing novels that make her readers 'feel' is her mission; she does not just write stories to be read, but for her readers to experience. As someone who has lived through many up and downs in her personal life, she uses those experiences in all of her stories, priding herself on the realism in her work, regardless of genre.

She began writing in the late 90's, although it was mostly song lyrics she wrote to escape her loneliness. As one of only a handful of bi-racial children living in her small hometown of Banbury, she struggled to make friends and to be accepted, so she spent most of her childhood alone.

She currently lives in England, but her family is spread all across the United States, including the states of Baltimore, Colorado, and Texas.

As a mother to four beautiful children, she spends her spare time playing Roblox and finding new places to walk with them, helping others discover self-love through her wellness blog, binge reading dirty romances, or watching food review shows on YouTube.

My favorite zombie family

Man, Jase was fighting hard that pull with Paris had my girl spiraling. I'm glad she finally put herself and her mental first, which caused Jase to re-evaluate some things. Now that cliffhanger, I can tell something juicy is coming up and I can't wait. Great story as always.

This one read like a new story!

I certainly liked Paris and Bases' story better than her big brother and sisters. I wonder what brought on the changes so rapidly for Jase, Cam and Tish? Could there be another invasion coming? Who will be behind this latest creation of zombies? So many questions, hope we don't have to wait too long to find out.

Book 6

Book 6 of the Zombies Rule the World saga, but the third book about the children. I am adamant that I do not like YA books or books about 20 year olds, but I keep reading these books because I am invested in the storyline. (Although the level of sex scenes, in my opinion, remove his from the YA genre.)

This book is the love story of one of the younger children, Paris. I like that Ms. McCoy isn’t necessarily writing their stories in birth order. Also, I continue to applaud her inclusion of emotional insecurities and other issues, like body image, abuse, and control. I look forward to the next release.

Caught Up

Been in love with this series since the first book and I am still enamored with the storytelling ability of LeeSha McCoy!!! I was worried about Paris like she was my lil sis. I’m glad Jase got his act together but now I can’t wait to see what has Raeni so worked up.

Love Love Love
Paris/Jasera story
From the start of college, there was a connection between Paris/Jarera, but due to outside influence, he tried to deny it. The denial caused Paris to spiral, she suffered depression and turned to alcohol. Thankfully her family intervened and reminded her that she needed to focus on herself and her dreams and goals. It took Paris focusing on herself for him to wake up and realize his attraction to her.
