Camelot Untold: Complete Series Box Set

Camelot Untold #1-3

by K.C. Kingmaker

The legends were wrong. King Arthur and his knights were never the good guys...

I’m not the first Guinevere in my family line, or even the tenth. I’m just the newest one. I’m not special. Everyone I know has abandoned me, except Grandma Gwenny, who raised me. And now she’s gone, too.

When my beloved grandma’s final act leads me on a wild hunt across oceans, I never imagined I'd end up in the mythical realm of Camelot.

Except this Camelot isn’t like any of the legends I’ve read about. It’s dark, dangerous, depraved. The land is cursed. Rebellion is afoot. King Arthur and his knights are wicked brothers… and these brothers share everything.

A girl could get lost here. Hell, I might want to get lost here.

I was brought to Camelot for a reason. Ancient prophecies say I’m more special than I thought. But what do I do when the legendary Knights of the Round Table are more villainous than the bad guys?

I should want to leave, but this place is too seductive. I’m a prisoner in this realm of sin… Do I embrace the darkness?

About the author

KC Kingmaker lives in San Diego and has been writing and reading fantasy and romance for years.

"Briarwitch Academy" was KC’s first foray into paranormal romance, trying to bridge the genres to make something steamy, funny, mysterious, action-packed, and most of all, fun!

"Dragon Shifter Dominion" came after, trying to meld that same steaminess with traditional fantasy, to create a romantic fantasy explosion!

"Shadowblade Academy," KC’s third series, is technically a spin-off of Briarwitch Academy, though it can be read as a standalone series. It has just as much intrigue and mystery and steam as the others, but things get a bit darker.

"Camelot Untold," KC’s fourth series, is a deep, dark dive into the rich lore of Arthurian legends. It’s reverse harem fantasy romance.

"Robin Hood and Her Merciless Men" is KC’s fifth series, and another spicy, dark retelling of an iconic legend.

I got this as an omnibus because I adored the cover. Plus king arthuresque and magic and I was sold. Unfortunately, I wasnt a fan. The first book was an absolute disaster. Hated the guys, Guin was dumb as heck, and the story shouldn't have anything to do with king Arthur. Very little to do with the King Arthur tale. But that was my expectations. I wanted to give up and be done with it but decided to continue. The subsequent books weren't awful. I still didnt like Guin and the guys but I liked the story. Ignoring not having really anything to do with the Camelot legends.

OVERALL THOUGHTS:

Camelot Untold is an adventurous and smutty tale where Guinevere gets to keep King Arthur AND his Knight. ;)

It was honestly a really good story and a fun read. Lots of smut, but I was definitely here for that. Mmm. And a great story too.

Wow!

I have always enjoyed the legends of Camelot but KC took it to the next level with this series. Guin was pretty dysfunctional in her own world, but when she embraced her legacy from her grandmother and enters Camelot she sees her strengths grow with the help and devotion of her knights and King Arthur. The storyline is intriguing and well written . The steamy scenes are really off the chart. There is so much adventure, plot twists, and many distinctive characters. Morally grey characters always are the most interesting. I will definitely be reading PC's take on Robin Hood as well.

The Knights of the Not-So-Lazy Susan

That’s what I’m calling this book 😅… the round table men, hung like horses (obviously 🙄😅), just spinning a lucky individual around and taking their turns…
I’m actually impressed, jealous, grossed out, melting, and so much more from the absolutely unhinged mess this book is 😅😂😂...

I’ve read way too many books and have been in an “meh 🤷‍♀️” slump of them lately.. this is definitely not meh.. love it, that’s all I got to say about it.. you just have to experience it for yourself.. all 1600+ pages (3 book series).. couldn’t put it down..
