At times the book feels like a sales pitch to work with the writer's company. However, it's filled with great advice, some common sense and actionable steps. In a world that pushes "everything is content" this book encourages you to dig deep, be specific and keep it fresh and tells you exactly how to do it.

absolutely necessary for content creators

This book is a must read for any and every content creator. It is well researched, and successfully gives actionable advice. No, there is no hack, or cheat to getting popular on social media. But there is a proven, hard earned path that will get you there. And it is all laid out in this book.

Some good insight in the book. I thought there was too much call to action to his website and company, felt a little like a sales pitch. Also I thought it was repetitive at times with the same stories and information being told. Probably could have been cut from 300 pages to 200. Nevertheless there was some very helpful information that I am going to apply.

A very I depth book on content creation for vitality. I appreciated he shared both concepts and specific examples. It was really helpful to follow the link to watch all the videos he talks about. Although not all the content focuses would work for me, I especially liked his input on data, tracking and adjustments.

I got about as far with this as I cared to. In reality it’s just not for me and I picked this book up for a UGC job. It’s more of a recipe for research on virality rather than a how-To. Just not interested 🙃

foundational

The book expresses certain tools to go viral. However, it’s not detailed enough on how to do it. It’s an open invitation to contact their group to work with them.
