56 Book Chicks can't believe we didn't read this sooner...
Seriously if I hadn't upgraded my kindle, I would still be missing out on this great read! I am sooooo mad that it took me this long to discover this jewel of a book.
Messy Sheets...had me messed up! I was sitting on the edge of my chair trying to figure our what the hell was going to happen next. It was totally unpredictable and that makes for an amazing book. I stayed up until 3am reading this book, knowing my alarm was going to sound for work at 5am. I could NOT put this book down.
Expect the Unexpected...around every corner is a new twist and turn. And you are holding your breath and closing the book (kindle) because you are too scared to find out what is going to happen next. This is my first read ever by Dashawn Taylor and she has definitely captured my attention with Messy Sheets, and I look forward to reading more from Dashawn.
I have to say one of my LOL moments...(and I had a couple)...but anytime you sneaking your lover into your house by hiding him in the trunk of your car. OMG! I was laughing so hard. I was wondering what the hell she had in that trunk...I was not expecting it to be her man...or should I say someone else husband. LOL! 'He needed to avoid being spotted in the car with her, so he agreed to only travel in the trunk. The feeling of being willingly kidnapped by her only excited him. Every time he heard her garage door open he felt as if he was being smuggled into a fantasy.' But wait until you find out who he really is? And where he really lives? That blew my freaking mind...like you can't make this stuff up without being brilliant. Yes, I just called Dashawn Taylor brilliant.
Messy Sheets has it all...marriages, adulterers, political scandals, pimps etc...it's one shock after the next. Kudos to Dashawn French for writing an amazing book!

WARNING: Before you read Messy Sheets, you should probably read Kissed By a Devil 1 & 2. Ok here goes.....
Marcel is a hustler by all means. He has an escort service and his niece Sabrina use to work for him until she decided to eliminate the middle man. She soon finds herself in a precarious situation, and the only person she can think to call is her Uncle M. He comes to her rescue, but would this heroic act cause Marcel to lose his life?
Hard work and determination has Kimi's business Messy Sheets on top. But Kimi is ready to move on professionally and personally. But, is her mystery man ready to "come out"?
Nico Stanton is the best criminal lawyer in Newark. Because of this, he has represented some unsavory characters. Nico's latest client is calling for him to get him out of jail..FAST! Does Nico have it in him to get his guilty client out of jail or will he have to pay with his life?
Plenty of action and drama, but something was missing. Some parts of the story had loose ends that didn't come together. I was able to follow this book, but maybe I should've read the first two. Solid read. My final rating 3.5.

Now I gotta go back and read the other related books before I read the continuation to this one. Although I don't condone the relationship between Kimi and Niko, you just can't help but want the best for them in this story. Kimi had a lot of spunk in her as well as a good business mind. A lot of snakes were lurking throughout the book, couldn't trust anyone. But why we never got to find out what was on that dvd?! It better be revealed in the next book lol!

I give this read 3.5 Stars...the pace was nice, some things I saw coming, but I felt it needed that add ingredient 2 tip it over the edge. I enjoyed this read and want 2 know what becomes of the two main characters Kimi and Niko

I loved it! I didn't see a lot of that coming, it was VERY MESSY! THE FACT THAT THE SHEETS HAVE A FRAGRANCE EMBEDDED IN THEM THAT MAKES YOU HORNY WAS AWESOME! LOL DASHAWN TAYLOR DID HIS THANG WITH MESSY SHEETS!!
