If you are studying and or going into healthcare wow is this a good book to start with! I needed it for class, and I can honestly say I’ve learned a lot! I also because I’m trying to write my own stories find the actual medical knowledge helpful, I can now write more realistically about things then I did before! The hardest part of this book though is facing mortality, with aging parents, and crossing the hump of 35 myself, going into healthcare is hard because you address mortality head on.. and I frankly prefer more of the spiritual elements then the physical though the two I think share threads of alignment more than we humans as of now know. All in all it’s ALOT of information but this is a steady place to start! To understand healthcare in the USA.
