Georgina's new found love is put to the test in the stunning sequel to Louise Franklin's novel Ravenstone. In this second book in the spellbinding Ravenstone Chronicles series, author Louise Franklin combines a regency setting and adventure to create a love story as perilous as it is unforgettable.

Georgiana Fairchild is leading a double life. By day, she is the genteel wife of Edward Fairchild occupied with quiet civility and running a busy estate, despite confinement to a wheelchair. By night, she is the lover of Nicholas Markham, Captain in His Majesty’s Navy, and the leader of a band of smugglers intent on finding a French spy.

Unable to deny her love for Nicholas, she is still unable to trust him or any man with her secrets. Secrets that put her in danger from enemies intent on using them to control her. Secrets her husband discovers and uses as a weapon against her. Georgiana must risk trusting someone enough to save her or lose everything.

UGH, a book that doesn't end, how annoying! I really enjoyed the first "book" and while quite irked that it wasn't a complete story, was into it enough to want to buy the 2nd half and continue the story.

But this 2nd half of the story is still incomplete and was so darn short. There is so much going on - SO MUCH that there was no way to wrap it up

Not your average book. I've been reading historical romance for years, and I have very rarely came across a book that sets it set apart from the average love story. Ravenstone has done just that. It's keeps you hooked from the moment it start till it ends and leaves you wanting more. I recommend it to anyone who loves romance.

Raven's shadow

I was shocked by the ending in the first book, but you can't mean to end it like this. There has to be more. I can't wait.

I absolutely love this story line. The main character is fierce and the supporting characters are well rounded. I cannot wait for the 3rd book!

I can't wait for the next one. It left several questions open and I'm still on the edge of my seat wondering what will happen next.
