you don’t get a full book
The book is finished at not even 70% and the rest is all filler promotional crap.
Not only was everything rushed and you literally get no real plot but all important things happen off page. $4.99 k paid and it’s over priced by $4

not as good as other books in the series
I feel like this book wasn’t finished. They didn’t have a full story. It felt like Grace just took these two characters together in this story to get it out of the way. Comparing this to Kai and Larks story is night and day. Lark and Kai had an entire story and an entire book of experiences. While Lavender is just brought to the colony, gets her mate, sees a fight, and that’s it. You can’t get attached to characters when they only exist for a few minutes. This honestly feels like an extra long epilogue for Larks book. I was really disappointed because I got it and it was over instantly.

I'm so glad we get Lavendar's story after she is mistaken for her sister in Bad Boy Beast. Now stranded on The Colony with another Atlan who claims she is his mate, Lavender struggles to accept this possibility when her sister is in danger back on earth. Warlord Tazo knows Lavender is the one he has battled and survived for, even if he has no idea how to convince her to stay. Luckily his beast has no such issues. Mine!
I love everything Grace Goodwin writes. Only four stars because it was a novella and their backstory could have been expanded.

You did it again Grace, I was up best part of the night reading this novella.
This story is runs at the same time as the previous book in The Colony Series - Bad Boy Beast.
In this novella, Taken by the Cyborg, one cyborg mistakenly abducts the wrong girl and transports her to The Colony, where she's claimed by another.
Both powerful beasts believe her to be their mate but she's one feisty human female who claims it's all a big misunderstanding. Well she does live with her sister and she is wearing her sister's nightgown when she's confronted by Hive and an Atlantian Beast who isn't listening very well - does any Beast!!! - or male from ANY planet!!! (Joking - mostly!!!)
I loved reading Lavender's story - but then I've a soft spot for the Atlantian Beasts, especially those living on The Colony. I just wish it had been a longer story.
I always enjoy reading Grace Goodwin's work. Seeing a new book written by her makes me smile as I know I'm in for a treat that I will enjoy time and time again. Now I'm waiting (im)patiently for the next installment of the Interstellar Brides Program.

Who wouldn’t love to have a big strong alien, that is not only gorgeous but his every breath is about your happiness? It starts out as mistaken identity. All lavender wanted to do was have a nice quiet night watching TV. Now she has a huge warrior battling to save her wrong, three integrated Warriors from the hive. All he keeps saying is mine, she is scared, confused, and in the midst of a huge fight in her apartment. Fight is over and she finds herself on a different planet. Could she be more angry? she is so worried about her sister, but no one will listen. warlord Kai, the one that saved her is being healed. And no one will listen to her. Now she has another warrior banging on the door insisting he’s her mate. Tazo knew the minute he could smell her. She was his. Mistake and identity fixed, and the book just gets steamier and better. She still worried about her sister. She has found her happily ever after but now she hopes her sister is fine. Now that Kai has gone after her, because she is his mate. You must read, Bad Boy Beast to catch up with lavender sister Larkspur, and her mate Kai.

Hmm
The book was decent but brief. 25% of this book was blurbs in the back of previously released stories. Why am I upset? Because I paid out of pocket for an e book that I can't preview prior to purchase, no leafing through the pages allowed.
So many of my favorite authors are switching to selling. I've paid for monthly unlimited Kindle service for years. Yes Grace, I have a ton of your work on my phone, years of it. I've also noticed many authors seeming to follow an outline, their stories blurring together, the material no longer fresh, they all seem the same. So yes, I feel ripped off, and that shouldn't happen.

This story takes place during “Bad Boy Beast” when Lavender is attacked by the Hive and is rescued/taken by Warlord Kai. It is when she is taken to the Colony that things really get crazy. Warlord Tazo has been hoping to find his mate. After all these years, she is finally here and almost taken by Kai. But we all know what happens with Kai and Lark. Lark is Lavender’s little sister. I do love that the family stayed together. Lavender had to accept that she deserved to be loved and protected. Tazo gave her so much and more. Yes, there was a lot of recaps from Bad Boy Beast, but the story tells you want happened during. It was a fun happy ending for all.

Lavender is not having a good day. First, some evil aliens she later finds out are the Hive get into her apartment somehow and tie her up. Then another big alien somehow arrives and kills the evil aliens and takes her to an alien planet to the med bay. That big alien is Kai who thinks Lavender is his mate but something is off with her scent. Then Tazo comes into the med bay and says Lavender is his mate. After a fight between Kai and Tazo, Kai goes back to find his real mate Lark who is Lavender's sister. The story starts with confusion and some fighting but ends with both sisters finding their mates, love, new friends and a new planet to live happily ever after.

But then another Altan warrior show up to claim her. Tazo what’s his mate and nothing will stand between them. But lavender needs someone to save her sister and soon Kia is going back to earth to get her because he now knows she his mate. And tazo and lavender can continue their mating process. So enjoy another great read by ms. Goodwin!!

Wonderful return to the Colony
I really enjoyed Lavender and Tazo's story. We meet Lavender in her sister, Larkspur and Kai's story. Lavender is as feisty and spunky as her sister. This short story filled in gaps, gave us a great love story with an Atlan Beast that was barely holding on. If you haven't read and of the Colony stories I say start them now. I highly recommend all of the Interstellar Bride books and series. Love me some Beasts, Prillons, Vikens,and Evarians.

Wrong beast
Taken by the wrong beast. By mistake because of the sisters sharing clothes.
I enjoyed the book a d other sosters pairing with her right beast.
Did wish two things, one that she insisted on bringing some pets. Two, that the long chapter from future book was only two or three pages. This allowing more of the future of the sisters to be told. Wanted to see them with a few kids.

Fantastic read, action packed
Another simply wonderful addition to the series, wonderful to cross paths with some old characters and see how this is loved have progressed.
Interaction between the two sisters and their Atlantic beasts was simply wonderful to read and the outcome was a heart felt moment

A Very Satisfying Romance
This was a really good story. I gave it 5 stars. It not only provided a wonderful HEA, but gave me a good excuse to skip the dishes today! I recommend it, and want to read the next in this series! What's not to love in a totally gorgeous , totally devoted hunk! Forever to worship you, on Earth and on the alien Colony. One can dream, right!

Good but short
It's a novella, so by definition it's short. And it is the follow up/ other side to the sister's story.
Probably not a 5 because there is not the conflict to be resolved that most of these stories have. But good

The wrong sister!
A Beast love story with a stunning result when being rescued from the Hive that went to Earth, which is totally out of order. Thankfully, that is always rectified as soon as it's detected as Earth is a protected planet.

As always loved it, I'd actually read Larkspur first but it made no difference. I do wonder how many mates are missed because the wrong sister wasn't taken though.

Good storyline. Compelling alpha hero and tough, tender heroine. Quick bonding after shaky start between the mates. Big in all aspects with steamy sex.
