4.5 stars - i truly had no idea where this one was going but i LOVED it!!

landen’s been pining after ellie, a bull rider training at his family’s ranch, since he saw her but she’s hated him since the moment they met and won’t tell him why. when ellie gets into an accident, her attitude towards him does a total 180 and he’s delighted to have a second chance but they’re both worried that her past hatred will catch up with them.

i don’t want to give anything away because this is a really good one to go in mostly blind too (besides triggers) but this was seriously so good. i could tell where it was going with her hatred but it kept me on my toes the entire time and landen was a 10/10 perfect book boyfriend. he was funny and goofy and down so bad for ellie even though she told him repeatedly she hated him.

Reading this a second time around really elevated the story by listening to Aaron Shedlock & Stella Hunter perform this couple. I love whenever I go back to Sugarland Creek.

Brooke Montgomery takes us back to the ranch for Book 3 in the Sugarland Creek series is a unique take on an amnesia romance and dislike to lovers. Landen and Ellie had quite the journey and I was not expecting some of the twists and turns it took me on.

First off, I was very moved by Ellie and Ranger's partnership and connection. As a farm girl myself, who has loved animals my whole life, there is just something about the bond with your horse that cannot be compared to anything else. I choked up with emotion seeing them work in sync and win at their competitions. It made me so happy.

Next, there was the strange animosity that Ellie has for Landen. It seemed so strong and almost irrational that it bordered on making her unlikable. Of course, all things get revealed and I saw her perspective to a large degree. But Landen is so charming and I loved his persistence and a bit of befuddlement as to why this girl just wouldn't give him a break. Poor guy!

I of course loved all the side characters and seeing how the other couples and their babies are getting along. That is always a benefit to a small town series with siblings in each book as we get to see the family grow.

Where I struggled with this book was in the pacing and timeline of everything. I think the amnesia trope came in way too late for me. Maybe it's because book 2 set this up already, and I on edge just waiting for us to catch up already.. as the percentages slipped by I was getting frustrated with how little book was left for the actual romance. Then once we DO catch up to the epilogue of book 2... everything just felt like it was in hyper-drive. And the romance felt rushed for me. I feel like I didn't get enough time with them as a couple.

Also.. the suspense element again, felt very off. But I won't harp on it. I thought it was clever how a certain person was connected with Ellie and the reveals were very clever. I think many people will enjoy uncovering it.

The spice: The scene in that truck was HOT! The phone calls were spicy and sweet at the same time and I thought there was a lovely element of fun as well. Again though, I feel like there was not enough time for everything.

I have greatly enjoyed this series over all, so I don't want to seem to down on it. I just think my hype for this book got the better of me. I look forward to the Twins books in the coming months.

okay this book was so weird
for the first 50% she cannot stand him, and he does everything he can to win her over until she finally snaps on him and he moves on. we then see him chatting with a girl on a dating app and I was like? I don't want to see the mmc with another girl but okay..

the real plot doesn't happen until like 65% then it's like boom they're together and already talking about marriage like it made absolutely no sense.
there was no satisfying ending toward the cousin or gage. like the book centered around the cousin and it just was over and done in less than 1 page???

the only reason this books get 2 stars instead of 1 is because the little bit of banter we get was fun. I enjoyed that portion but it's not enough to make up for how boring and slow the rest of the book was.

Thank you to love notes PR for sending me an arc of this one.

I haven't read the first two books in this series, and although they can absolutely be read as standalones, I did feel like I'd missed out on getting to know some of the Hollis family a little bit better. I am excited to go back and read the first 2 books, especially Noah's.

I bloody loved this book. The dislike to lovers was done so well in this story. I just adore Landon, he is the literal poster boy for golden retriever energy and I'm living for it. Ellie is a fire cracker, and I think her character arc in this book was phenomenal.

I loved the back and fourth between our little devil and major ego. This Book had me talking to myself, laughing, squealing, kicking my feet and almost crying a handful of times.

I love Brooke's writing style, the atmosphere and family she's built with the Hollis family at Sugarland Creek and I truly cannot wait to get more from this cast of characters. Outstanding 👏🏼

Fall with Me is a dislike to lovers, small town romance about a barrel racer who loses her memory and the rowdy cowboy who has always been into her but she once hated and no longer remembers why!

I had such a fun time with this one! I loved the first book in the series and this is my 2nd favorite now in the series. Ellie is a barrel racer and super successful at what she does. We see her landing her dream trainer and getting to train with Noah (the heroine of Here With Me) at her family’s Sugarland Creek ranch! While there she runs into Noah’s brother, Landen Hollis, and is instantly not into him and he can’t figure out why! This dislike lasts for years until Ellie is in an accident that cause her to lose some memories…including the reason why she hated Landen so much. They end up giving into their feelings for one another while she sorts out her memories and things get complicated!

I liked the barrel racing scene, the cowboy vibes, her relationship with her horse Ranger, how he calls her “Little Devil”, how he’s sooo into her for so long, the cowboy hat and what they get up to with that 👀🔥, the angst and tension from the reason she hates him and him not knowing, their chemistry!

I received an audio ALC and I highly recommend the audiboook! It worked for me so well and I was just obsessed with the audiobook narrators: Stella Hunter and Aaron Shedlock.

CW (provided by author): traumatic death on page (prologue, can skip), mention of suicide, mentions of being drugged that results in injury, discussion of prison and injustices, mention of family member with mental health issues, amnesia resulting in accident

This was so slow to start. If you've read the previous books, then you know where this book starts, but you get so much background that it doesn't get into it until after 50%.

While I liked the second half, the switch was so sudden that it felt like there was no tension. If you want to watch a man suffer for years while being given no encouragement and then to have his dreams come true when his girl hits her head, I guess this is it.

📌“Don’t you know by now, Ellie? I’d do pretty much anything for you.”

📌“When it’s my time, every minute I have left will be spent replaying memories of you.”

Have you ever read an enemies to lovers where she does all the h*ting and he does all the loving? No?! Boy oh boy, you’re so missing out 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼

I loved every page of their banter. I loved even more when that banter turned playful and flirty instead of mean and pushy. These two had quite the chemistry… So much so, not even Ellie could deny it 😜

I also loved their more vulnerable moments. When she didn’t let old feelings cloud her heart and you could see the bond that slowly took root over the years.

My heart will forever break for Tucker.

Am I in my cowboy era? Reading western romance and listening to country Post Malone? I guess I am 😜

the cowboy romance era is my favorite era yet!!

this series keeps taking me by surprise. i hadn’t heard of it when i started the first one and each book is so good that i’m shocked every time. the small town, cowboy romance girlies have got to pick this series up. i was a bit nervous for this book because i’m not usually a fan of the amnesia trope but for some reason i had a blast reading this!!

ellie and landon had a genuine reason to be “enemies” or at least ellie did. i liked this because i feel like i never get why characters don’t like each other. i was so scared for how everything would turn out but i just went perfectly, i was so giddy the whole time i was reading their romance! i’m just so attached to so many members of this family!! this book was very horse heavy and there was a lot of words that were put in to try and be cool, like “delulu” which i found odd but the actual story was great!!

now imagine my surprise when there is not one, not two, but three new book announcements at the end of this one. i was literally sitting on my bed going crazy because i was so excited. they all sound so good and i cant wait for them to release!!!

4.5 ⭐️ Did I avoid all responsibilities and read this in one sitting the day I got it? Sure freaking did. I absolutely loved Landen from Magnolia/Tripp’s story so I was SO excited to finally dive into his story and it did not disappoint!

Ellie was determined to hate Landen, but no one can know why or it could ruin everything she worked hard for. Ellie is so fiesty and has made her way into one of my favourite FMCs. She is such a spit fire and the banter between her and Landen was top tier. Landen was always there for Ellie regardless of how much Ellie hated him and that right there is a GOOD MAN!! 🥹

Also this was my first amnesia trope and I just want to say that Brooke did an AMAZING JOB!!! Ellie gets a concussion from an accident and wakes up unaware of who Landen is or why she hated him in the first place. I don’t want to give too much of the story away but the way the story flowed and the ending was perfect for them!

If you haven’t read this series yet, wyd?? Please go read it because it is one of my favourite small town romances and all on KU. This story can be read as a standalone, but the series is interconnected and you will get the most understanding if you read it in order🧡

Please read the entire review if you’re a cowboy enthusiast lol

I really have a love to strong dislike (the dislike is outweighing the love currently) relationship with this series. It’s like after the first book it just started going downhill… and now for Ellie… she takes pills/substances somebody gives her before the competition to “help” her and then for her to finally like Landen she has to fall off her horse, bang her head, and lose her memory. However another hold up here with Ellie is her supporting Angela who pushed Talia off a cliff and killed her and then Tucker took his own life after… it’s hard liking these FMC’s except Noah! For instance in book 2 Magnolia gets her and her bestie roofied by her ex boyfriend and yet she still ends up sleeping with him and gets pregnant and then doesn’t tell Noah’s brother Tripp until later on?? Lord help me here with these women why does it seem like they lack so many brain cells!

We spend over half the book with Ellie treating Landen not so nicely because she was brainwashed by her cousin Angela, and to add more annoyance she won’t tell him what he did. Then once she takes a fall suddenly Landen is the guy for her. Nothing majorly spicy happens between them until essentially the end of the book which idk kind of sucked? I wanted more of them and not her hating him 75% of the book and then spending the other 25% realizing he’s not a bad guy…. And it just ends so abruptly… I needed like 150 more pages or something. I know I sound super annoyed and I’ll be honest I am because like why does everything have to play out the way it has. I think the writing is really good don’t get me wrong!! I think majority of people will love this! I am just at a point where I’m like why are we doing this. I also love me my small town cowboy romances so I take them very seriously lol.

I’m really holding out hope that the next book is just as good as the first though! The trope sounds simple enough….

(I did pay for the ebook to read so these are my true feelings)

3.5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 (it was definitely better than the 2nd book)
1/5 🌶️ (I feel like it really lacked in comparison to the first and second book. When the spice was happening it was definitely spicy but there was so little of it, and the actual “home run”wasn’t until the book was already over. Although when she rode his hat that was a good time lol

Ugh fine this turned out cute but god DAMN can we stop making women so fucking unlikeable?! Y’all know that was a shit reason. The bitch murdered someone!!!! Manipulation is strong but this wasn’t it. If women can write men how we’d like to be treated, they can also write a sane, nice, cool girl who isn’t a stupid bitch to everyone first.

This is book 3 in series that I’m absolutely loving, a family of hot cowboys (and a cowgirl 🤠) and I’m sooo in. Amnesia storylines aren’t usually something that I gravitate towards, but again I love this series and author so I went with it and I actually really liked that aspect. Besides amnesia, Ellie truly dislikes Landen so there’s enemies to lovers, even though really it’s only her lol. But she truly hates this man. There are so many ups and downs and highs and lows between the two of them, this one was quite a wild ride. There was also some suspense that added some great tension and a little mystery as well. I enjoyed the chemistry between Landen and Ellie as well, there were some hot spicy scenes between them (the truck!! 🥵) and once Ellie was able to let go they had a sweet and meaningful connection. Overall a great addition to this series, I cannot wait for the twins books!

I am absolutely loving the entire Sugarland Creek series, but I think Fall With Me is my current favorite. Landen is EVERYTHING you want in a MMC, and I loved reading as Ellie started to let him in. With tropes like extreme dislike to lovers, amnesia, and small town romance, this book was perfection! 🤌🏼

I love the Sugarland creek series and I was so excited to read this book after seeing Landon and Ellie interact in the first 2 books. Landon has been interested in Ellie since the first time he saw her, but she has always been vocal about how much she disliked him. When Ellie wakes up after a racing accident, she no longer remembers Landon or why she hated him in the first place. This was a cute dislike-to-lovers cowboy romance. There was such great banter and so much angst between Landon and Ellie. I absolutely love them together and it was so sweet to see how obsessed Landon was with Ellie. I love this book and I cannot wait to get Waylon and Wilder’s books. I highly recommend this series if you are a fan of small town romance.

I was lucky enough to ARC read Landen & Ellie’s story and as per tradition, my small town hoe self was SUCKED IN!

I knew their story was going to be good after getting a taste of it in Brooke’s last book, “Stay With Me.” I mean, what’s not to love about a guy who’s a total freaking simp for a girl who hates his guts?!

Landen Hollis is a playboy who’s never had trouble landing the girl. That is until he meets Ellie.

“You are… Gonna be a challenge, ain’t ya?” “Not everything in your life can be easy, can it?”

He thinks Ellie can’t stand him because he wore an inappropriate shirt the first time she met him, but unbeknownst to him it is a deeper, more personal form of hatred. Throughout the book we get to watch Landen try like hell to win her over - from giving her pointers while she’s barrel racing, to the flirty innuendoes.

“I wouldn’t think twice about running him over with my horse trailer if I knew I wouldn’t get caught. With his de-lulu brain, he’d probably think me trying to murder him was foreplay.”

All it takes is one injury and a little memory loss & suddenly Ellie can’t seem to remember why she hates the good looking cowboy. With his sudden stroke of good luck, Landen uses it to his advantage to prove to Ellie who he really is, and why they could be perfect together.

“It’d be my luck that I’d wake up to the sexiest man I’ve ever seen next to my bedside and he’s not my boyfriend. A six-foot-something, blue-eyed cowboy staring at me like I’m his.”

This book is for you if you like the following:

✨ Small Town Romance
✨ Cowboy x Barrel Racer

My first visit to Sugarland Creek and I cannot waaaait to go back!!

Small town cowboy? Grumpy sunshine? With a little hate to love? Mmm hmm, yes please!

Landen was soo gone for Ellie and just relentless much to Ellie’s chagrin. I love me a man who’s all gone for his girl. Her hate for him was not at all a deterrent towards his plans to win her heart. It definitely made for some good banter. Their back and forth was so funny even though Ellie’s ire was evident and laced within her words. I also loved the sexual innuendo Landen slipped in any chance he got.

The mystery behind Ellie’s hate added another layer to the story that kept me guessing. Learning the truth had me nervous waiting for to be revealed to everyone.

Watching Landen drop everything to take care of Ellie melted my heart. And that hat scene: phew, oh me, oh my. He was the perfect mix of sweet, sexy and swoony.

Brooke Montgomery left me wanting for nothing…except more visits to Sugarland Creek.

Aaron Shedlock and Stella Hunter, they couldn’t disappoint me if they tried. I absolutely loved them! The chemistry, the emotion, the humor, the everything!! These two brought it all to life fantastically!

Fall With Me is the third book in the Sugarland Creek series and follows Landen and Ellie. Although the characters are mentioned in the previous books in this series, this story can be read as a standalone. I was locked in from the prologue. The beginning is so emotional, and I was immediately pulled into the story. I could not stop reading and listening.

Ellie is a barrel racer who returns to Sugarland Creek to be trained by Noah (Landen's sister). During her years on the ranch, Landen also assists with her training. Although Landen likes Ellie, she can't stand him, and he has no idea why. Unbeknownst to Landen, she has hated him for over ten years. Ignoring her clear dislike for him, Landen tries to pursue her, but Ellie shuts him down at every attempt. Ellie is mean to Landen - really mean. So mean that he calls her little devil. Things take a turn when Ellie is involved in an accident during a race. She loses some of her memory and does not remember anything about Landen. Not remembering she hates him, she gets to know Landen for the good person he is, and falls for him. The lingering question is whether she will still have these feelings when her memories return.

I love Sugarland Creek and this story so much! I was rooting so hard for Landen and Ellie, but I was also waiting for the other shoe to drop. When things were good between them, I was nervous that Ellie's memories would return and things between them would be broken again. Landen fell hard for Ellie, and as he got closer to her, I got more nervous that he would get hurt in the end. Ellie and Landen had amazing chemistry, and Landen worked hard to win Ellie's heart. I loved their banter and how Landen fully supported Ellie no matter what. Landen is top-tier book boyfriend material. Ellie did get on my nerves a little pre-amnesia, but she redeemed herself in the end. There is so much to love about this story and this series. I enjoyed the development of Ellie and Landen's relationship, the scenes with members of the Hollis family and other characters in Sugarland Creek, and the elements of suspense sprinkled into the storyline. Fall With Me is an emotional ride, but it's worth it.

Narration:
Stella Hunter and Aaron Shedlock knocked this one out of the park! Their performances were fantastic, and they were the perfect voices for Ellie and Landen. Stella and Aaron brought Ellie, Landen, and the other characters to life. They did a wonderful job with the accents, banter, emotional moments, and steamy scenes. I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook and didn't want it to end. This is another wonderful Lyric Audiobooks production and I highly recommend it.

Thanks to Brooke Montgomery and Lyric Audiobooks for the gifted audiobook. Opinions expressed are my own.

SPICE: 🔥🔥🔥

Brooke Montgomery never fails to amaze me! She takes tropes I don't normally love and makes me absolutely feral for them! And this one is no exception! FALL WITH ME is such a good read and I absolutely could not put it down!

TROPES
+ Memory Loss
+ Small Town
+ Cowboy x Barrel Racer
+ He Falls First
+ She's Grumpy X He's Sunshine

Ellie Donovan hates Landen Hollis and has since the moment she met him, even though Landen is head over heels for her and has no idea why he earned her ire. But when she loses her memory, and suddenly doesn't hate him anymore, he's going to take every opportunity he has to change her mind!
I loved this so much!

The beginning of this book is heavy (check triggers) but it sets up the story so nicely. Landen is such a golden retriever and definitely my favorite of the brothers, and he fell SO HARD. Ellie is prickly and stubborn and I loved her and all of her flaws as well and just wanted to see her happy!

This one burns a little slower, but mannnnn the tension is totally worth it. 🥵🥵 Hello cowboy hat scenes!

Brooke is famous for those cowboy hat scenes, and this one delivers!
Everything about this was so addicting, and this was a love story that I swooned hard for. Every woman deserves a man that loves them as long and as steadily as Landen Hollis.

And always, the whole Hollis family always adds so much to each story and I'm obsessed with them!

Fall With Me is about a barrel racer who loses her memory and the rowdy cowboy she once hated but no longer remembers...

Alright, this was so good! Super slow burn! And such an interesting story line! I know it's not a new concept but I haven't really read a lot of the memory loss trope and this is done in a way I haven't really seen! Loved it! These Hollis boys are just too sweet! But they know when to be spicy too 😏 I don't know anything about barrel racing but this seems to be very well done when it comes to the technical aspect, which I love. Nothing worse than a sports romance with inaccurate information! This series is so good and I can't wait for the fourth book!!

Fall With Me is available today for Apple Books, Nook, Kobo, and Google Play readers for 24 hours only!! Then it will be out on Amazon, KU and paperback, May 29!!

i know i'm repeating myself with every book in this series but i love the hollis family and the sugarland creek ranch so much! with every book it feels like such a warm hug diving back into this world.

and fall with me is no different. ellie is like me, feisty and blunt but she loves so deeply. and landen is an absolute 10/10 dream man, maybe even my favourite mmc in this series! the amnesia trope isn't something i've read very often so it's unique and brings something new to the table. i read this book cover-to-cover in one sitting, i just couldn't stop. every story has been a homerun but this one genuinely just became my favourite. i'm already impatiently bouncing up and down like an overstimulated toddler, waiting for the last two books in this series about the twins!

MA’AM. I could not put this down! I was excited to get Landen and Ellie’s story and let me tell you, it surpassed all my expectations and has taken over the top spot in this series for me. And did I mention I LOVE this series?

Landen is a golden retriever, hot as can be cowboy, with the best sense of humor. Ellie is a pro barrel racer who is all work no play, especially when it involves her trainers brother who she’s hated for years.

From the moment Ellie shows up at the barn, he’s interested in her. But she wants nothing to do with him and she lets it be known. Years later and Landen still has no idea why she dislikes him so much but it doesn’t deter him. (I mean is “two seater” really that offensive? Iykyk 😂) But he can’t seem to stay about from the Little Devil. 😈

This book has a unique plot, page turning suspense, sassy banter, and you know Brooke always delivers on the spice. 🥵 Such a fun read!!

It actually pains me to give this 3 stars but I just couldn’t get over the fact that Ellie only gave Landon a chance because she lost her memory..

There were other moments that felt rushed or just added in for the sake of it that threw me off a little.
There were definitely some cute and fun moments and being back in sugarland creek felt like a hug.
I loved Landon and obviously seeing the rest of the fam was great!

Unfortunately Fall With Me did quite hit for me but I’m definitely excited for more Waylon and Wilder in future books of this series ❤️

Landen Hollis went from Night to Day once he laid eyes on Ellie. She turned his world upside down and wouldn't give him the time of day. Sure, she's a little younger than he is, and she despises him for something she refuses to tell him about, but that's okay; he can wait for her to change her mind about him.

I had a blast getting to know Landen and Ellie better in this book. If you have read prior books in the series, you'll know that Landen is one of the Hollis' who works at Sugarland Creek Ranch and Equine Retreat, his family's business, and, with his sister Noah, helps teach up-and-coming barrel racers.

So, I have mixed feelings about this one. I did enjoy it, but I didn’t love it like I have the other books in the series. The other books has been 4 and 5 star reads.
I feel the beginning was a bit slow and the ending a bit rushed.
I did love the bickering between Ellie and Landen.

Landen is the most patient and kind man and Ellie was such a bitch. I am sorry, but she was.
I get that she was manipulated and a little brainwashed, but why didn’t her parents or aunt do anything? Say anything? Considering the end, we all know where they stood in the matter, so why did they not talk to Ellie?
I found that strange. It’s been 11 years.

But yeah, overall I enjoyed the book.

It’s the same issue with every book - starts off promising; an interesting enough plot; writing is pretty decent too….. and then it’s like BM gets bored of writing or gives up… so far, all 4 of her books have had the same issue. The resolution to the problems she lays out are WAY too easy. To the point of it being really ridiculous. This one was exceptionally bad in that regard. I really thought there was something here, hence the stars but the second half just ruined any possibility of a decent book. (All the steam is in the second half too…. It’s also where she starts seriously leaping in time just to finish the story….and then there’s the epilogue: instead of an actual epilogue, it’s essentially a set up the next book in the series. Not a fan of that at all. Apparently there is a bonus chapter that perhaps is an actual epilogue? Or maybe it’s just another sex scene. My money is on the latter.

I forgot I had said I was done with her books the last installment but really, I don’t think I can read another installment. Which is a pity bc she clearly has ideas but the execution is off…
