THE BEGINNING OF A LEGEND...

Post Apocalyptic LitRPG Progression
Similar in scope to Primal Hunter and Defiance of the Fall

Gideon Sho -- Umbral Scion and Forerunner.
L'Sana M'Ras -- Grave Scion and Forerunner
Arizelle (Ari) -- Lunar Dragonling -- L'Sana's bonded Familiar.

They have survived the Tutorial and now enter their new home, the merged world of Erebus. The Multi-Versal System is still an asshole, still focused on blood and carnage, murder and treachery.

They have three days to prepare for the beginning of a trio of Monster Waves to test the few that have survived. On top of that, the flora and fauna of the new world have been mutated and enhanced. Gideon, L'Sana, and Ari are not alone however. They made a deal and the remnants of the Shador are at their side. They have a City Stone and a few Gods in their corner whether Gideon wants them or not.

Both L'Sana and he must deal with their choices of accepting Bloodlines and what that truly means while doing their best to create a new home for them all, one that will help defend them against what's coming.

The Monster waves, the mutated beasts and flora, are nothing compared to the threat of their fellow survivors when the System itself pushed all towards killing They were Scions of just one Elite Tutorial. There were five others, with a possibility of at least five Scions per, not to mention the machinations of Multi-Versal Factions and the Gods themselves. All eyes are upon Erebus, unique in the billions of years of Integrations in more ways then one.

Gideon had no fear, nor ever had, and his eyes were a predator gaze locked upon it all, including the still vivid intent of making a Senator pay for the broken women he'd left behind.

Rebecca Trumane, the Governor, and her lackey, the Fool, are also still out there with their own ambitious plans, creating the Mercenary Faction of the Unchained upon Erebus, gathering an army to push her to the apex.

All of it is a maelstrom of chaos dancing on the edge of an Apocalypse in Book 2 of the Best Selling series, Nocturne. GET YOUR POST APOCALYPTIC ON!!!!

childish, couldn’t finish

Going to say I could only read 22% before I had to stop reading. The dialogue is beyond childish. The descriptions are insanely flowery. The run on sentences and strange places for commas are frustrating.

I don’t remember the first one being quite this bad when it came to the ridiculous dialogue or overly complex/flowery/poorly worded descriptions of things. It feels like it needs a few passes through a professional editor.

Although I find the idea behind the story interesting, I reached the point where I no longer cared about the book early. I forced myself to read another 10% of the way before stopping to make sure it wasn’t just the introduction. However even almost 1/4 of the way through the book it was the same, if not worse than the first part. And now that I realize I was almost a quarter of the way through, I can say either not much is going to happen in the book, or the pacing will be terrible, as the start has been slow.

Maybe some people will enjoy the conversations of a what feels like a 6 year old with super ultra ADHD who also is insanely horny all the time, but it wasn’t right for me.

review your darn books.

Do a little copyrighting or pay someone on fiver to do it. It’s so bad, spelling errors grammar errors multiple words, story is great but the editing and copyrighting is so darn distracting. I feel like a high school softmore wrote a paper and then never fixed the draft.

Fair to Midling

The continuation of the story was good. Sometimes the author rambled almost just enjoying the sound of his own voice. Every villian seems like a cookie cutter of the next and every hero has a similar tragic back story along with a similar worldview. Altogether a good second offering.

Great Follow-up!

Nice continuation of the first book. I like that it picks up where the last book left off. Nice growth by the MC and his group. Looking forward to reading the next book.

Dialog is cringe. Balance is atrocious. Pacing is terrible. This is very hard to read. It was a fight to get to the end. An ending that was completely not worth it.

The first one was ok. I was hoping it would get better but it got worse. The narrator doesn't help, his female voices are so terrible. DNF which is unusual for me
