Oh, wow. Like father, like son, like grandson. This book was a really good read. The father bossman was heartless, and Jabar his done would do anything to please him. After causing some much danger in the streets life took a turn for the worse. No one too fend for his son besides a loving grandmother Jabar to life to with streets as well. Was this wise? Awe well like father like son. Jabar bring no different from his father ended up the same way leaving his son Malik to fend for himself. Ask sorts of payback is happening and part 2 I hope to bee even juicier. Excellent job!
I enjoyed this book. I really felt it would resonate with younger readers. There is a fascination with a gangster lifestyle that leaves out the realities that this book brings to the fore. I would recommend that the author employ a better editing system as there are many mistakes in the book. Overall, an honest look at the issues of drug culture and the struggling family.
Just finished the book and oh my god! This book was truly amazing. I really LOVED the writing. I honestly was sad when I had got to the end of the book and I am sooooo excited to read the second book.
Many, many, many, many, many, many, many, grammatical and spelling errors. At one point, the author lost track of the characters. If I could give it 1.5 stars, I would have. I hope the next book is edited better!
This was a good story I'm a little lost about his father leaving and what happened between Bossman and Cynthia first I think I need to go back over it. Ended to soon
I liked the story line. I think that they could have done a better job with the grammatical errors. There were way too many misspelled words in this book...
Defiently a good read! Malik came back with vengeance to go after Shay, and Sye for the murder of his grandmother, and that what he did. Boss man can a the right time. Can't wait to read more.
