M Stone Mayer wastes no time setting up his action packed thriller: Ashes to Ashes. A mystery man is trying to escape would be killers, and after they nearly succeed, he barely escapes only to realize, he doesn’t even know he is. Impaired by amnesia, but relying on instinctive survival skills, he survives and eventually discovers who he is and why he was running for his life. Set in the North West, Ashes to Ashes is a non-stop set of action, intrigue, and mystery with more than as few twists and I didn’t see that coming moments. I highly recommend this book for thrill and who done it addicts.

An exciting thriller that grabs you and keeps you reading late into the night (or early morning)! Very much enjoyed the description of places, realistic background story and attention to detail that clearly indicates the author has done his research. Many characters are deftly woven together in this story, and you get the feeling that you will be meeting these characters again in future novels. Can't wait for the next book!

Will Mercer wakes up in the wilderness with no memories of his life or how he got there. As he puts the pieces together and his story unfolds, you are introduced to characters intent on helping Will find the truth….. or determined to stop him.

I finished it in record time because I couldn’t put it down! I am looking forward to more stories from M. Stone Mayer.

I loved it! Excellent prose and creative character development. I took it on vacation and couldn't put it down. A page turner with lots of twists and turns. It was like a good friend...comfortable, enjoyable and something I wanted to spend all my free time with. I couldn't wait to get to the end but then was so sad to get to the end. Now I have to wait for the next one to come out! I highly recommend it!

Quick moving, had my attention until the last sentence. Shed a couple of tears, got pissed, smiled, and laughed. The characters are totally relatable. Parts of this could hit close to home for some. I cannot wait to see where Will Mercer’s adventure takes him next!! Great read!

I love this genre and Mayer nailed it. Keeps you turning pages night after night. As a first book to be published, I think he has a great future in writing to look forward to and we readers have more to look forward to. I know I’m looking forward to book 2!!!
