BOOK II in the TREACHERY A Christian Post-Apocalyptic Romance

This time, she doesn't have to fight alone. Just when Mya thinks she is about to break, she remembers the God she serves is greater than any enemy she could ever face. But what happens when that enemy is her own reflection?
Will Mya learn to trust God through her storm or will she fall into the dark clouds of fear, lust, and doubt hanging all around her?
Exodus is Book II in the Treachery Trilogy. It is written for Adult Christian Women and is not a stand-alone novel. Please read at your own discretion.
First I am team Adrian since the first book!!!!!! I just love him and who he is. This book just truly made me love him so much more!! You’ll learn more about everyone’s personality and personal struggles.
I feel like my review will not do the book justice! My true rating is 4.25. This book kind of gives the vibe of the beginning of the Walking Dead without the zombies and God is truly at the center of it. (I liked The Walking Dead’s first few seasons of that show so that’s meant as a compliment). At this point I’m the series, everyone is just trying to just survive and are trying to hold onto their worldly desires. They’re using worldly/sinful things to distract them from their terrible reality. There is some action (different than the first book), romance and a lot of frustration from the group. I think this book is a great segue to the final book. I’m still digesting it. You have to read it!! It will always be at the top of my list of books to recommend!
Important Disclaimer: If you are a Christian grappling with sexual sin, this book may not be suitable for you. While the content includes a few scenes, they are not depicted in graphic detail, but I can cause your mind to wander and think “what if’s” if your not careful. Proceed with caution. ⚠️
The second book absolutely blew me away, just like the first one! The character development is phenomenal, especially where Mya’s loyalty lies, in regards to God. I found myself nodding along because I could relate to her journey. There have been moments in my life when I leaned more on others instead of truly depending on God. It’s so easy to lose sight of that! But as Christians, we all face struggles and make mistakes, yet God's love for us remains unchanged. Coming back to Him after we've wandered means everything! I love this revelation for Mya!
I was also captivated by the perspective of the non-believers in the story, particularly Adrian. Watching him grapple with his understanding of God, His past makes it so challenging for him to grasp the essence of faith. As for ceasar it’s heartbreaking to see him initially approach God with conditional motives, like for a girl. But the moment he semi-realizes he needs to seek God for who He truly is, instead of for what he can get in return, *chefs kiss* (thanks to Raven 😏)
I cannot express enough how much I love this series. I have never read a dark adult themed Christian book before. This is a series that makes you forget all about secular books. It has the drama, the darkness, the angst, the danger, the tropes and themes that you crave, with none of the guilt. This is not a fluffy “Jesus piece”. This is real, with the real struggles of Christians and I am floored. I have been blessed by this book and I pray (seriously I’m praying) it receives the acclaim it deserves.
a huge thank you to this book for simply blowing me away!! The author did an outstanding job of demonstrating the raw struggles in which the Christian characters/the characters trying to seek God faced, also including lots of important teachings regarding the everlasting loyalty, persistence, and mercy from the Lord we serve. The action, drama, and twists of Exodus were so entertaining, i’m excited to read what will happen next in Eternus (Book 3) 💞💞💞
I LOVE the sharing of the struggles that Christians go through and the judgement they feel based on the “severity” of their sins. This is so prevelent in the Christian world today when God has said that all sin is the same but yet we as humans will judge for what we think is more immoral. Also such an interesting book series, I can NOT wait for eternus to come out
This is an amazing book series. I can’t wait for the third book. I love how this story has twists and turns but most of all it invites you to know God in such an amazing way. A huge fan of this author and how she allows the Lord to use her to bring Him glory and invite you to know Him too.
Not how I thought the story would go, but it is definitely getting intriguing! I felt this was focused more on Mya's rough patch in her faith which I feel all of us go through.
