Asco de libro.

Julian is your typical tough, tortured, high powered, wealthy male lead without a personality who's creeping on his (thankfully I guess) legal ward, Claire.
He's been raising her since she was a traumatized little kid yet he casually lusts after her and basically molests her in a car with other people around. He's constantly hot and cold since he knows it's creepy and wrong.
I low key hate Julian and he gives me *MAJOR* ick vibes. He's constantly talking / thinking about Claire as this sweet innocent virgin he can corrupt. She's 18 but he controls her whole life and who she associates with and where she goes. He encourages her to "spar" with him which is really just an excuse to feel her up and then the second she starts living her life and dating he's all "this is mine". Plus the smut was not hot at all and kind of stale. The general writing was ok but ugh, nothing else was. Also, sex dungeon.

Claire und Julian
Nun, das Buch war anders als erwartet, jedoch eher in die Richtung enttäuschend, trotz der wechselnden Erzählperspektive beider Protagonisten.
Zuerst dachte ich anhand des Klappentextes, das es sich um eine Mafia Geschichte handelt und es war auch so und doch wieder nicht. Ehrlich gesagt weiß ich bis zum Schluss nicht was es war oder sein sollte? Es war eine verwirrende Mischung aus allem und es hab keine wirkliche gerade Linie.
Was mich zum nächsten Punkt führt, der Handlung. Denn irgendwie gab es eine Handlung und dann wieder nicht.... im Vordergrund stand die bizarre Beziehung zwischen Claire und Julian und wie sich ihre Gefühle verändert haben und in eine andere Richtung entwickelten und beide damit versuchen umzugehen.
Doch gleichzeitig kamen so viele andere Handlungen mit rein das man den Überblick verliert und es sich anfühlte als ob man irgendwas eingeführt hat um Spannung aufzubauen und dennoch keinen wirklichen Plan hatte.
Auch die Protagonisten waren eindeutig nicht durchdacht und durchsichtig.
Claire war viel zu naiv und kam mir wie ein treuer Welpe vor, der ständig hinter Julian her rannte.
Julian hingegen schien mir nicht der gewisse CEO oder Mafiamann? Zu sein, viel zu impulsiv und auf seine Weise naiv.
Um ehrlich zu sein weiß ich nicht was ich zu dem Buch sagen soll, außer das es verwirrend, langartmit und ohne wirkliche Handlung und Storyline ist.
Eine große Enttäuschung.

June 8, 2024I wanted to give this a fair chance but both characters give me major ICK. The way both of them thirsting over each other so early in the book makes my skin crawl considering the premise of the story. It doesn’t help that the story started so randomly over a sparring scene. An introduction over the characters background or an elaboration over the plotline would have been better. Author’s choice of wordings could have been better too.

There is a lot going on in this book. The back story is thick and constantly unfolding while the current problems keep stacking up. It honestly was overwhelming for me. Feel like this book could be better by adding on to the story and not rushing through the plot or eliminating some of the back story and just focusing on the back and forth of will they or won’t they. Also the ending left me feeling empty.

Julian ist nach dem Tod von Claires Vater ihr Vormund. Doch je älter sie wird um so mehr wird Julian klar das er diese junge Frau will, doch es darf nicht sein. Und auch bei Claire halten sich die Gefühle nicht daran ,das Julian nur ihr Vormund sein soll. Doch wie soll sie es schaffen ihn dazu zu kriegen sie als Frau und nicht als Mündel an zu sehen ?
Julians Familie ist eh schon nicht erbaut von Claires Anwesenheit und ein e Liebe zwischen den beiden scheint fast unmöglich. Doch Julians Zurückhaltung bekommt immer mehr Risse ,denn er kann sie nicht loslassen. Und so beginnt eine Liebesgeschichte ,die es in sich hat.
Doch lest selbst und lasst euch verzaubern von dieser Geschichte

Es una historia de mafia, en la que Julián el jefe de la mafia acoge a Claire, hija de un amigo que a su muerte se ha hecho cargo de ella, y ahora ella , ya tiene la mayoría de edad.Es un poco la historia cliché que empieza fuerte y me falto un poco más.
